They are closing and have posted that items are 50% off. They will not barter or make any deals. Owner was very rude. It is more of a hoarding situation than a storeowner that wants to sell items.

Amazing selection and reasonably priced. It is packed in so best suited for more slender customers!

Map placement is close, but not quite. It's to the north of the pin a few hundred feet. Colossal inventory in close quarters. Furniture and other items in pretty good to excellent condition. If you are up for an antiquing adventure, plan to spend time in this place. Bring a flashlight - will help see details. Lighting is fine, but there's a lot of shadows. We got several items we really like.

So incredibly over crowded that we felt claustrophobic. Couldn't stay or be bothered looking at the chaos.

This is a gem of an antique store; one that my husband and I love to visit. We've purchased a few things from this over the last few years (twin beds, dining room chairs and a few small items). The place floor to ceiling of antiques and yon never know what you will discovered. Half the fun is going and looking around!

Went there last year. Found something that the owner said was in the basement 25 years. I was glad to find it. A real Antique Shop not filled with the crafts BS you find at "new" Antique Shops.

This review is more for the conditions you have to endure when you visit rather than the variety. My wife and I stopped in over the weekend while out for a drive. I admit the amount of stuff piled outside drew me in. But once we got inside I had no idea what we were in store for. There is so much stuff piled up in this large house, it just screams Fire Hazzard! Not to mention no sign of fire exits anywhere. From the moment you walk in its single file, sideways walking through most of the house. And the place is so stuffed you fear touching anything to risk a avalanche. Not mention the condition of the house itself is very poor as well. Soft floorboards that shake a whole room when you step on a loose board, stairs you feel may fall out from under you. So variety in the store YES, Safety and comfort of browsing a BIG NO! So when you pull up and see the bars on the second floor window covering windows you could never get to anyway. Remember you've been warned. And if your claustaphobic skip this one for sure.

I only visited this place once last year and that was enough. I had found an edition of the Rubyiat of Omar Khayyam (I am trying to collect as many editions of this as possible). I walked over to the counter. I placed the book on the counter. I even did the thing where you open up your bag and take your wallet out, thus expressing interest in buying the thing you've found. The owner was on his computer. He looked up and saw me, obviously aware of my existence. Nothing was said. I went over to the other counter where I'm guessing his son was working. Again, not even a hello or an understanding that perhaps - and I know it sounds insane - that perhaps I would like to purchase an item! I decided at that point it wasn't even worth the money and placed it back where I had found it. Which is sad, because I really loved it and the condition/price wasn't bad. To the owner: you might be surprised to learn this but customers are what keep you in business regardless if they are tourists or not. If you can't be bothered to assist people with their purchases (they are coming to YOUR store when there are literally multiple antiques shops in town), perhaps you should shut your doors and pursue a career where you don't have to interact with anyone (since it seems as though you've got that part down to a science).

Really great selection. Staff was very attentive and knew their stuff. Fabulous old maps and paper ephemera. Must go back when I have more time, too much to see.

This place dazzles and amazes! It has pretty much everything an antiques lover could dream of, large items and small. The owner is a knowledgeable, reasonable, charming man. We NEVER miss a chance to stop in when we are in the Boston area. Plan to spend some time - it's packed to the ceilings with treasures and discoveries.
