My former student told me of her experience at Al’s and I wanted to write a review on her behalf. She went to Al because her check engine light was on and I warned her that some mechanics will charge $100 for a diagnostic. Not Al. He checked her vehicle, discovered the issue, and took no payment from Tracy. As a student with limited money she was so happy not to have spend anything and left feeling rest assured that her car was all set. No doubt she will go back to Al, appreciative of his help and honesty.

Al is awesome. He is totally transparent and honest with what is going on with your car and offers you options to fix it. Meaning: he won't tell you to buy the best parts if it's not worth it. I have had various cars .. if the car is pretty new he will recommend the best solution - if the car is older - he will tell you the most cost effective way based on the life of the car. In fact there has been times he would not fix my car even though it would cost him money - because he said "sorry I can't do this with a clear conscious - you are going to put more money into the car than its worth". Talk about honest and a contrast to many of the other people out there. Also .... he can fix just about anything. Stands behind his work.

First off I am giving this place one star because I cant rate them any lower. I brought my wife's car there for a blown brake line, after multiple attempts this guy couldnt even Properly bleed the system, I even bought him a bleeding pump which I never had to supply a mechanic with the tools to do the job before bit anyway the car was never fixed after two separate attempts (which he charged me for) and the car was unsafe and I had to pay a third time to get the repairs done right. Turns out he used couplers (which are illegal in this state) and kept telling me the car was neglected and needed pads rotors and calipers completely untrue! Good luck to you if if trust your wife and kids safety with this guys repair. Buyer beware, I am going to small claims court stay away!

Al is great. He always is honest and really seemed to care when I came in with a broken down car. He helped me to get it back on the road within my budget and also told me which services I was going to need in the future to keep it running.
