I just love this store. I always find something here and they are always nice and helpful. It’s also independent, women-owned. Today’s visit was super efficient: 30 mins to get a wedding guest dress for my daughter (they had so many dresses for special events!), myself (older lady but they found a dress that looks so fabulous for my size!), birthday gift for my friend, unique bag strap. Totally beats wasting time at a box store or shopping online. Thank you so much!

Cute store with helpful employees and super lovely accessories. Still, I didn’t find one piece of clothing above a size L.

Randomly popped in looking for a white dress, but was immediately met with a glare from the woman behind the counter. Didn't really think much of it until she looked to her coworker and nodded toward me and my sister (both women of color) and followed us around the store. We barely got to look at the (very expensive!!) things they had as we left straight after. Disappointing.

Had such a great experience at this store! I love shopping at boutiques/ small businesses. I am also a curvy woman. Unfortunately, I have had several experiences where I have walked into several boutiques and wasn't even acknowledged because I wasn't a size zero. Brooke took her time helping me find sizes and pulled a few pieces for me (one of which i wound up buying). When I fell in love with a piece and they didn't have it in my size, she ordered it for me. She went out of her way to personally call and followed up with me when she found up they had the item in stock in another location. Stellar service and they made a repeat customer out of me.

Cute clothes. But for the love of god, just say things run small. Do not repeatedly tell I'm too big for your clothes when I am not arguing with you, snatch the size I normally wear out of my hand, and insist that I need a larger size because there is just NO WAY I will fit in my normal size. "These run small" was enough. Thanks for setting back my eating disorder recovery by at least a year.

Mint Julep always comes through for me on Small Business Saturday, a.k.a. the last shopping day before you really have to get ready to ship your parcels overseas. I'm so not a girly girl, and I can't imagine shopping for myself there: fuzzy fleece plus skinny jeans is my uniform, bonus points if they're from the Goodwill. For that small-town teenaged niece whom I don't know super-well, though, I consistently score the most amazing big-city Christmas present, every single year. This time around: cozy mittens in a subtle heart pattern ($17). Those will be all over her IG starting 12/26, as per usual. Previous hits include a pendant ($20) and a warm beanie with a fur pompom (a splurge at $40, don't regret it a bit). The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the stock and so friendly and warm, even to someone who doesn't look at all like them. They have lots of suggestions and don't bat an eye at a tight budget. I even get my presents wrapped for free, with gorgeous ribbons and paper. Walking past Mint Julep, I probably wouldn't have realized that it had such a wide range of very giftable goodies. So grateful to the stylish friend who dragged me in there eight years ago!

I found the most wonderful corset top here and the staff were nice. Definitely pricey (think $100 - $300 for clothing, $30 - $60 for accessories, at full price), but there’s stuff on sale for quite cheap. And hey, if you have a couple hundred bucks to spend, you can definitely get adorable, high quality clothes here.
