Have been meaning to write a positive review re Chateau Jewelers after they added diamonds to my 50+ year-old wedding ring a few months ago. When I went to pick it up, the guy who did the work came running out from the back room saying, "Wait! I want to see her face when she sees the upgraded ring!" I was absolutely delighted and I guess I showed my enthusiasm. Lovely to see a skilled jeweler take such pride in his workmanship. I don't buy much jewelry but would trust Chateau if/when I do. They made the experience fun!

This company scammed me out of my mothers gold bracelet, the guy told me it wasn't worth much, then I saw it in the case for sale for $3000. My mother had just passed and the man said he wanted for his wife...total lie. I discovered this when I went in to have a ring reset that was a beautiful aquamarine and I traded in a diamond....they were basically conning me out of my diamon and selling me something worth a couple hundred dollars for $1800.. I went back 10 minutes after I had left my jewelry and the guy was trying every way he could not to give me my jewelry back. I am having it checked as I am concerned that he switched the stone in me ring that I've had since I was a kid....DO NOT SHOP HERE, YOU WILL REGRET IT

My favorite spot on the South Shore. Richard and staff are always so friendly and helpful. Wether you’re buying, selling or trading they are always fair and reasonable. Also can meet any of your repair needs. Highly recommend! Thanks for always taking good care of me!

What a great store, fairly priced, high quality, professional service. Unlike a competitor they are classy. Real quality (no flea market mentality) and sell as advertised (not like the other). Thank you for being a local, hometown store! Buy local and stay away from the chain store atmosphere.

I sold a few pieces of scrap gold and a Breitling watch I was not crazy about. I had all my wedding ring and class ring made smaller, and they removed links from my Rolex, Tag Heuer, and Omega. Just wonderful dealings and works with Richard! Top-notch jewelers! Parking on the street, in the lot behind or across from the store. Plenty of vintage and new pieces on hand too. Friendly, and really, just as good as Long's up in Braintree. Highest of recommendations. 26OCT2022

I went to the shop with the intention of letting go of some previous purchase so I can move on to my next step. I would love to have some more discussion about trade prices during the visit next time. I had to wait in line for a while and the shop has many nice things, but quite exhausting, especially after such tough times around Covid. If possible, please listen when someone asks for help, and perhaps next time we can reach a more pleasant agreement. Take care please
