57 Warren St, Roxbury“Very helpful staff. It's a place for anyone to enter who wants to expand their options as readers and citizens of the world. Broad selection for sure! Staff can help you hone in on in store and online options.”
“Called this store to find a hard to find magazine and not only they had it but the agent whom I spoke was extremely kind and offered to hold it for me. I went there and found a top notch book store that includes an entire floor of used books. The staff was an absolute pleasure. I will certainly be back to this hidden jewel!”
“I always stop in for jewelry to see what they have. Great assortment of items for all of your crystal and calming needs. Staff is very nice and have always been able to help with any of my questions and needs.”
“Fabulous women-owned bookstore in Jamaica Plain, selling, as far as I could tell, only new books. Leave plenty of time to browse - the selection of books is wide ranging, and, for a relatively small space, very large and comprehensive. The exterior signage alone is remarkable! Definitely among my favorite bookstores world-wide. I came away with their The Papercuts Anthology: What Happened Here, a collection of poems, essays, and fiction by authors they hosted during their first year (2014) in business. What a nice souvenir, co-edited by the store's owner, Kate Layte.”
11AM - 7PM
127 Newbury St, Boston“The selection is great and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We were looking for a book they had 1 copy of and they made it their mission to track it down! Success!!!”
“Wonderful wonderful. Rema is a gift herself as is the rest of the employees. They need to be commended for their outstanding and above and beyond enthusiasm and performances.”
“Stopped in for a last minute birthday gift & found exactly the right thing (w/ help from a friendly B&N book-finder specialist, which isn't a thing but they totally are!!!) As it began to downpour the cashier saw my worry & triple wrapped my gift so it would make it safely to my car! B&N saved the day!”
“incredible food in a bookstore?? count me in! their brunch is so good and there are a good amount of both savory and sweet options. the sandwiches are yummy and the sweet potato fries come with curry yogurt sauce and a garlic aioli! they also have alcohol!”

“CLJ is the best church I've been to in Boston. I've been a member since 2008. I am very blessed to be part of this organization. This church is Bible-based and is very well organized. It has an amazing worship team and many programs that serve its members and the community. It's great! Come visit us!”
9:30AM - 5:30PM
607 Boylston Street Second Floor, Boston“I have been a collector of rare books for 3 decades and have never been in a shop with such fine employees. I brought my 20 yo son who had never been in a similar setting and they immediately attended to him and helped him to feel comfortable and appreciated. While they are not the largest antiquarian bookstore the volumes they own are carefully curated and chosen for people with budgets from $50 to $50,000. I have no other relationship to them except as a customer and get no discount for my opinion (I wish!). Much luck to them. Ask to see the Picasso miniature!! Jim”

410 Harvard St, Brookline“Fantastic customer service! I mail ordered Hanukkah candles very close to the start of the holiday and they delivered them to me fast and in time for the first night! I don't think I would have gotten that type of speedy service elsewhere on such short notice, but they understood my needs and delivered!”
10AM - 3PM
400 Fenway, Boston“After a shocking price tag at a designer place in Winchester and a horrible experience at Home Depot, I gave 3 days blinds a call. I had just bought my first house and the blinds that were on the windows had the 3 day blinds labels on them, indicating the previous owners had used them as well. From start to finish I had a great experience. My consultant was Sara Morin and she did a wonderful job understanding my vision, I felt a connection instantly. After the consult there were several follow ups from the installation company. The installers came exactly as scheduled and did a great job. We are very happy with our purchase, which I view as an investment just like tile work or new cabinets and counter tops. Our kitchen looks so different now, its amazing how a window treatment can transform a space! Even one change helps to make a space feel like its your home, your design... yours. :)”
9AM - 2PM
100 William T Morrissey Blvd, Boston“You will find all the things you need regarding anything for school but I will say it is a bit expensive. They do have a good go to snack array and have everyday essentials needed for the dorms or at home.”
10AM - 9PM
800 Boylston St, Boston“Very nice lady. I had a long conversation with her. I like talking to people so I enjoyed her open heart. This was in November 2019, but she was very kind and in return to some medical advice she gave me a complete set of Russian dolls. Very generous! It might be that when the shop was closed she was ill and the person who was supposed to keep it open for her, didn't care enough! Call before you drive all the way to the place!”
8:30AM - 4:30PM
1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton“This school is a very good and welcoming school. You will get a quality education that will definitely help you find a job. Don't pay attention to other reviews stating that it is a bad school, simply look at their grammar and you can tell they didn't pay attention very much. There is plenty of fun to be had on campus, if you are actually willing to look and not sit in your room for the duration of your stay. I have met many good friends here, and enjoyed every day that I went to Curry College. If someone rates a complete 0/3 then they simply want to bash the school because they expect that if you put only a small amount of effort in that magically the school will give them everything they ever wanted. It is difficult, and there are some things/rules that everyone might not view as the fairest that they could possibly be. But that is any school, and Curry is only getting better and better. In that past 10 years they have built: 3 new state of the art residence halls (NCRH, 886 Res Hall, and SCRH) 1 new cafeteria/gym/bookstore/gymnasium/faculty offices (Student Center) 1 new academic building (AAPC) Redone the interior of 3 other academic buildings Installed state of the art Windows 7 and Mac machines Doubled their internet speed more than 5 times As well as plans for future buildings throughout the campus All in all, I loved Curry and you really should give it a try.”
“Such a great bookstore. I've only been here once but I'll definitely be going back. The workers here are so helpful and do their best to find whatever you need. The used books are the best, going for as cheap as $3-$4. Got a handful of books for under $20!”
“comfy store with lots of great literature. some books can be expensive but that's just the way she goes these days. and there's lots of cheap options that are still high quality. staff tend to be nice”
“I went to the store a while back when I went to Massachusetts to visit my grandmother and we went to see the store (I was starting my Harry Potter journey) it has a cool selection of Harry Potter and you will likely find something from your house. And the owner is very nice and even has a small conversation about how I was really enjoying Harry Potter and how far into the series I was. I would really recommend going. I know I will when I go back to Massachusetts.”

910 Commonwealth Ave, Boston“Excellent place to get my Daughter a nice BU hoodie sweatshirt, @ a fairly reasonable price - quality considered. Taking it back to Alabama where my Daughter's a sophomore @ Jacksonville State University. They had an array of items; great selection. A+”
“This place is adorable. The workers are very nice and helpful. Their selection of toys are very interesting and fun for kids. Good place for gifts plus free gift wrapping.”
