“My 2 year son was inpatient at MGH, it was Christmas Eve. He needed a specific medication compounded, the hospital could not do this. The place we normally go also could not, because it was Christmas Eve. He was able to be discharged and home for Christmas because Seth at Gary Drug made it happen.”

“My wife and I left home to catch a cruise ship in Boston and left some medication behind. I tried to work with the two big major chains, and in both cases, after being on hold for nearly an hour, I was told that it would take them 24 -72 hours to get that done. Called Galaxy, and Cindy and Don took AMAZINGLY great care of us. Arranged everything over the phone, called me back as our plane was landing in Boston, and had everything ready as I walked in the door. In and out in under 5 minutes with the Lyft driver waiting to take us to the hotel. If I lived in the area this would be my pharmacy. If you live in the area it should be yours. Great people, and great service!”

“Crawford Drug is the best - they give great customer service, and are always able to answer any questions I have about my prescriptions. So much better than any of the pharmacy chains. Can't recommend them enough.”

“The Star/Osco pharmacists are pleasant and efficient, and the pharmacy has a large inventory of medications on hand, or can get them with little delay. Unlike CVS and Walgreens, the staffing at Osco is adequate, which makes for a far better experience.”

“I can’t speak nightly enough about the Saigon Pharmacy. I had a prescription that 13 other pharmacies didn’t have, but Saigon Pharmacy went above and beyond and was able to locate it by calling suppliers. The pharmacist was so kind and helpful. Ten out of ten!”

“I've never had a store try so hard to help me out before as Melvin's Pharmacy, let alone a neighborhood pharmacy. They've helped me through changes in insurance, new medications, weird mailing situations, you name it - and it's just an honest neighborhood odds and ends store to boot. I hope to patronize this place as long as I can!”

“Emily S. at Walgreens Community has provided the most exceptional service I've ever had in 30 years of filling meds.Med management can be so stressful as you battle to get your critical specialty meds on time, but I never once have had a problem when I switched to Community Pharmacy and started working with Emily. She's removed all stress for me that has come with filling specialty medications. She's stayed on top of my refills, ordered them in a timely and diligent manner, thoroughly answered any medication questions I've had, responds quickly and has extended such kindness and care.Forever thankful and grateful for Emily's help and the experience I've had.”

“This CVS is wonderful. One of the Managers Korey I believe helped me on a Sunday at a busy time. I had been there the day prior and literally purchased something and left it on the counter. In no time at all he went through the security video footage and I was out the door with what I purchased the day prior (but forgot to literally pick up off the counter and put in my bag). He volunteered to help out ASAP and I hadn't asked for him searching the camera. Thank you!”

“Can't say enough about how great this CVS is. Yes it's small but it's the best CVS I've been to. I particularly want to highlight the pharmacy team. Back in 2017 I had to go through a great deal of trouble with my insurance and healthcare providers for a while for a medication I was taking. This process was very stressful and the pharmacists at this CVS always helped whenever they could to make it easier for me. I can't express how grateful I am for their kindness! I want to add that this location tends to busy- it's a convenient location- but I never felt rushed or not listened to by the staff.”

“I love capsule pharmacy! Since I'm disabled right now and going for a complete hip replacement next Tuesday I so appreciate them delivering my medication most of the time they're on time between certain hours they promise with delivery and they come through. They let me know when I need a refill or I need a delivery of one of my medications they allow you to pick the time and I like the fact that somebody has to be there they don't just leave it like for my pharmacy. And they are so kind and helpful they let you follow on the Google map where they're at so you know when they're getting closer to your home I just love capsule all the way around there isn't anything they don't do. Thank you capsule Love all you guys. Sharon Somers”

“This place is awesome! The people are patient and friendly. They get the prescription from the doctor, they fill it and they deliver it. The best thing is that they put the meds together so that you won't have to waste time sorting and trying to figure out when to give which medicine. This makes things so easy for my mom's PCA.”

“Best pharmacy in Dorchester. I would get a text from CVS telling me my script is ready, go down an hour later and they'd tell me come back in 20 minutes, we're working on it. Osco, in and out. Loan and Tom are the best.”

“I recently switched all my medications over to CVS, given CVS is much more prevalent on the East Coast compared to Walgreens. Also, my drug plan made CVS a preferred pharmacy, so it was worth the cost savings. The pharmacy here is located inside of Boston Children’s. It’s located on the second floor near the gift shop. The location is NOT a full-service CBS. It is mainly a full-service pharmacy with a small selection of common OTC products. They are open later than most locations, given the demand and the fact that there is an ER right downstairs. My only complaint is I wish it was 24-hours. The ER ALWAYS discharges you in the middle of the night with no way to fill medicine. I’d love to see them go 24-hours or install a self-service kiosk that stocks common medicines. It would be helpful beyond belief! The pharmacists here are all highly skilled, professional, and dedicated to their job. They know the stakes are a bit higher given it is serving a Children’s Hospital. They know the needs of their clientele are more unique than your typical pharmacy.I’ve had physicians special order medication’s by brand. Most pharmacies make it difficult. Here, they’re happy to order in whatever is needed if they can source it. They had my special order medicine in stock the next morning. The pharmacists truly know their stuff and will bend over backwards for their patients. I had to have an emergency surgical procedure in the emergency room late at night. My doctor ordered pain medicine. They were out of the desired medication. The pharmacy team took the time to work with my doctor to find a suitable alternative so I would not be stuck in pain. They truly take the time to ensure you are taken care of. I have yet to visit any other pharmacy that runs so smoothly and with such a high level of care for their patients.”

“After waiting for CVS to fill a prescription for over a week and having them tell my provider they couldn't get it and wanting her to switch my medication over to a less effect less convenient medication this Osco pharmacy had the drug in stock and i had it a few hours later. Because the drug required a Prior authorization. I had to call a couple of times and never once was I put on hold or did I have to wait like I usually do with CVS.”

“It's November 30th 2022 and I usually don't do this, but I have to tell about my experience today.I go to the CVS pharmacy in Dorchester at South Bay plaza on Allstate road. Today I tried calling the pharmacy to see if my prescription was ready. After waiting on the phone for quite a while I went down to see if it was ready in person and when I got there there was a line of about 15 people deep. When I got there I realized why the line was so long and nobody was answering the phones the young man they had working behind the counter was there completely alone. He stayed so calm I was extremely impressed he helped everybody out as much as he could with a smile on his face the whole time. When I got to the front on top of remaining calm and doing everything because he was alone he apologized to me for the wait.. I then said to him I would "that I would have taken off that white coat hung it up and told everybody what to do with themselves"have and even after that he just remained as friendly as he could blame the nobody and have never been more impressed by an employee. As a business owner he is the perfect example of what an employee should be taken that white jacket off a long time ago and hung it up if they left me here alone to deal with this and still. He had not a bad thing to say. I think his name was Louise. All I have to say is I've never been treated better or been more impressed with an employe”

“Two of my favorite CVS are in Chinatown and the other one is at the other end of Washington Street in downtown crossing I love both of these places in particular because they are helpful if you need help and they have known me as a long time customer there they always go out of their way to help and many times they have sales on different things like cereal and Pepsi Coke mountain dew I feel their ice cream is too expensive though almost $8 for a small tub of ice cream which you can get almost two of those for $8 at Roche Brothers but other than that CVS is really good and I highly recommend them if you need some quick items! ?”

“Convenient CVS between Chinatown and Quincy Market in the heart of downtown. It's smaller than others, but being in downtown Boston, it's understandable due to the high rent prices and the limited real estate. I went in to get some snacks and candy and they were cheaper than buying them in other places nearby. Also, with the mobile app discount coupon, I was able to get a better deal. Some people get 20%, 30% or even 40% off on a weekly basis on their mobile app. I did not deal with any human being, as I used the self checkout register, which I liked...it was easy and quick.”

“Not sure when they renovated but it is sooo much better now. When I first moved to the area about 4 years ago, it was a horrible excuse for a supermarket and I never went back. Last summer I stopped in here to grab a couple things since I didn't want to drive far and I was impressed with the selection! They have a wide selection of produce that is fresh, a decent organic section and the shelves are well stocked (as well stocked as a grocery store can be right now). They also have prepared foods like pizza, chicken wings etc. the store is pretty clean except sometimes the self checkout stations get a little gross and they aren't wiping them down at all throughout the day. Now I shop here pretty regularly for groceries instead of trekking to Trader Joe's or Wholefoods.”
