I purchased a large painting from Bonham's through LiveAuctioneers.com. I've purchased larger works from a couple of other auction houses, only to face an utter fiasco getting it crated, and shipped safely at a reasonable price. This place was superb from start to finish: excellent communication throughout, fair pricing, plus friendly and timely service. Bravo!!! Would give them ten stars if that was allowed.

I recently won a 19th century antique Tiffany clock with garnitures at a Massachusetts auction; it was the clock I've spent years looking for. With any item won at auction, there are two prices- one for the item you won, and one for shipping. It's not uncommon for the shipping price to exceed what was paid for the item itself.Like items in an auction, you have to look around for the best shipper; they are not the same by any means. And after my recent experience with Global Pack Ship, it was the absolute right decision.I have been collecting both historical and sports memorabilia for many years, and have seen it all when it comes to shipping. Without a doubt, Global Pack Ship is the best shipping company I have ever seen. Absolutely the best.The antique Tiffany clock I just won means the world to me. Besides the cost, I worried about shipping such a fragile thing like that. And after what I spent, I really didn't have a lot of money to spend on shipping.The auction house provided a list of shippers in the Boston area. I called every single one for quotes. I even contacted an outside east coast shipper, told that they would be cheaper. They weren't. Out of all six shippers, Global Pack Ship was the cheapest. One other shipper had a similar price, so I narrowed it down to those two. I chose Global Pack Ship because they had taken the time to explain everything that went into shipping an item like mine. Both Michael and Kimberly put my fears to rest. That meant a lot to me.They picked the item up the same day, did their work, and I received it quickly- Boston to NJ.When I received the two boxes, I was stunned by two things- how incredibly heavy the antique clock and garnitures were, and by the intricate packaging of everything. It was the most thorough, secure and SAFE packaging of shipped items I've ever received.I read other comments here and noticed people had similar experiences as I did with Global Pack Ship. Three things stood out- cheapest price, the best packaging, and friendly people who took the time to communicate with you. I'll add the word kindness- taking the time to alleviate a customer's anxiety when shipping an item they've been waiting years for.Many thanks to Global Pack Ship for all their outstanding help!

Greedy!!! I understand wanting to make a profit but charging 30% more than FedEx UPS DHL and USPS rates is ridiculous. Especially in this economy. Save money and go directly to FedEx UPS DHL or USPS. Im NEVER going back to Global pack ship.

Extremely happy with Global Pack Ship! I've worked with many shippers around the country who support various auction houses and this company definitely stands at the top!First I need to mention the excellent communication. Responses were received to all emails in a VERY timely manner. This is greatly appreciated and is not always the case with other shippers.I had a large painting that required a crate. I think they worked on the weekend to get the crate constructed. Painting was picked up from auction house on Thursday or Friday and shipment went out on Monday. Very Fast! Not to mention about the best packing job on the painting itself as i've ever seen.Great working with you GPS! Thanks for the excellent service!

They know how to package large and very fragile antiques to survive the rigors of modern ground transportation. My antique clocks arrived without a scratch, and particularly with no broken door glasses, due to GPS "Up-Armored" packaging techniques. Also, their pricing is very economical. A great job all round by the GPS Marlborough, MA shipping team!
