We enjoyed our stay very much and especially wish to thank front-of-house staff John, Joe and the other Joe (who donated all those mementos). Each of these gentlemen welcomed us warmly EVERY time we walked through the door and engaged in charming, sincere conversations with us over our three-day stay! THANK you!

Unfortunately, the property has deteriorated, and the rooms are no longer up to standard. While the lobby remains somewhat impressive from its more glamorous days, it's best to avoid this hotel for accommodation. No USB ports in the room with limited outlets, paint and wallpaper peeling, thermostat hard to control, worn carpet, stained linens , and the shower temperature is cold to luke warm.Such a shame, as it used to be the one of the finest hotels in the area.

Spend a weekend here for work, rooms are small but I got the kind size bed, even due the rooms are old and eventually will need an upgrade , the hotel is VERY clean, I usually pay attention to the small in the Holloway has a sigh of bad maintenance (try it ) this hotel was clean and well maintained, I spent a couple of night and ask for a sheet change , the service was fast and with attention to details, I think the pick of this hotel is the location , and bar, old style classic and again clean, food is above average for a hotel with again with paying attention to details and cleanliness and the service is just impressive you don’t find that anymore , usually people hate their job and life over here they look like their very good in ignoring emotions and doing their job))Ordered crab and avocado toast for breakfast, perfect avocado a lot of crab very hard bread but hi it works , will definitely recommendRooms: Small and a bit old but clean to a perfaction

How to improve on PERFECTION? Ask any of the attentive, respectful, eager-to-please staff at the Fairmont Copley Plaza! They have mastered the concept of going above-and- beyond-for-their-Customer in every way possible. We just held our second business meeting at the Fairmont Copley and once again, every aspect of our stay was taken into consideration. The lobby is simply breathtaking with tons of gilded decorative elements, spotless mirrors, sparkling chandeliers and the incredible Trompe-l'oeil ceilings. There are high-backed velvet chairs placed in cozy spots throughout the lobby as well, enhancing that feeling of wanting to curl up and stay just awhile longer. Cori, the hotel’s Canine Ambassador will greet you with happy tail wags once you enter the lobby; for more details on this wonderful tradition, look for a plaque outside that has origins of this the Fairmont’s first Canine, ‘Catie Copley’.This amazing venue is ideal for a business meeting and members of their Event Services Staff are quite outstanding to work with; they are incredibly responsive, warm and welcoming and willing to immediate address every and any issue. Two individuals are worth mentioning here, as they are the fuel that keeps the Fairmont Copley Plaza up & running – Ms. Tricia Tierney is their Director of Event Services, and she works tirelessly to make sure that every contingency is addressed with calm & reassuring professionalism – and Mr. Vinit Singh, who is their Director of Event Operations, who keeps everything well in hand and running so smoothly that you never feel stressed as he anticipates every possible need you or your group may have.Guest Rooms are upscale and nicely provisioned and will pass any 'white glove test' you care to try. Their on-site Restaurant/Bar, the OAK Long Bar & Kitchen, has a Chef who comes up Entrees that please any palette (incidentally, the BEST Duck I’ve ever tasted!), and their bartender, Anthony will make you feel right at home, and upon request, he will offer some excellent suggestions for things to see and do.I would highly recommend this venue for a business OR personal trip at any time of the year and look forward to returning to the Fairmont with our group soon!Rooms: Lodging at the Fairmont Copley Place is an experience that will leave you feel pampered and privileged. Beds and bedding are the ultimate in comfort, while the marble bathrooms are shiny, spotless and perfectly in keeping with this elite hotel.Food & drinks: OAK Long Bar & Kitchen has a solid menu, and the Chef is AMAZING - I tend to choose Duck when it's on any menu, and their Seared Duck Breast was the BEST DUCK EVER... the atmosphere at the bar carries the same sense of luxury as the Hotel Lobby with it's red leather banquet seats, 40 foot ceiling and the vibe is both modern yet refined.Noteworthy details: This hotel represents the epitome of The Gilded Age - just a walk through the lobby brings you back to the day of sheer luxury!

We just returned from a lovely stay at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. I’ve had pleasant stays at other Fairmont locations so I figured this would be a nice hotel. I booked via the Chase Sapphire Reserve portal to receive the benefits of doing so (early check in/late check out, credits for food and breakfast, etc). Rooms are a bit pricy as are most Fairmont properties, despite being older and sometimes in need of updating, but the charm and amenities/restaurants usually outweighs anything negative. When we checked in I asked about the room upgrade and we were given a first floor room. I prefer a quieter room so I asked for a higher floor but I’m not sure if the woman at the desk misinterpreted, but we were not given an upgraded room. Disappointed, I went back to the desk later in the evening to express this and both Danielle and Kayla were super friendly and helpful, and I wanted to make a point to personally thank them both and make it known that they were exceptional. We were more than accommodated with a beautiful suite and welcome amenities. The hotel is gorgeous as expected from photos, and of course the dog Cori is charming and a lighthearted sight in an upscale environment. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was spectacular. Our first (standard) room did feel a little on the smaller side (especially the bathroom) so I am grateful for the extra space. We ate appetizers and had cocktails at Oak bar which is a very busy and fun environment. On a weekend I’d certainly recommend reservations. Unfortunately, we had a little too much fun in Boston at night so we did not make use of the breakfast credit with our booking, but I’m sure it would be spectacular. We also felt it was in a great walkable location as we were able to walk towards the freedom trail and park easily. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would plan to come back to this location.

A very high level of service, from checkin, service staff, bellmen. All around. And a grand old place. Well maintained, nice location.

We got a great deal last minute, so can’t hate on price, rooms a little small and queen beds fyi in most rooms. Incredible location and ambiance. Would stay again for the price we paid but not sure we would pay full price as there are some newer hotels I may lean towards. I can see why they are a timeless

The hotel is a historic place with decent amenities. The dog in the lobby was what did it for me.

Quality has dropped severely while prices have continued to rise. Staff is spectacularly helpful, friendly, and professional. Lobby is beautiful. Everything else feels decidedly not upscale any more the way it used to.

The hotel staff were amazing, although the security was NOT. I will not be accepting the amount of disrespect and immaturity that I witnessed, and was put through. I geniuenly would not wish this on anyone. I hope that nobody else has to endure the amount of truma that I gained from this experience. The side eyes I recieved from the security was uncalled for, and rude. The security was putting their opinions on apples out to the world freely, with no concern of anyone’s opinions. I want to be able to have the right of eating green apples without being harrased.
