Had a miserable experience regarding a certified check deposit transaction with that branch. First of all, the teller did not deposit the check into the right account. Second and the worst, they placed a hold for 10 days, reluctant to RELEASE the fund while the fund had been in their hands a day after the deposit. In order to get my money back to my account, I have to visit the branch 3 times, sitting in one of the bankers' office for longer than 30 minutes, listened to all sorts of non-credible excuses. I felt as if the money was not mine, but begging to borrow theirs. They held my check for 8 days for no valid reason whatsoever. If you need to deposit a check with a few thousand $s or more, you will need to watch out.

There automated system is terrible. Employees who answer the phone aren't familiar with the products or procedures, if you actually get a person. Very frustrating. I have been with B of A for over 20 years- but this is going to have to change if I can't get better service.

It's a special type of place that has 6 teller windows, 3 employees milling around, and only 1 teller actually serving customers.

I went into this bank this morning just to get some check registers. It is located right in the middle of Boston's financial district. I was going to look around around to see where the tellers were but I ended up not even having to even wait in line for a teller because there was a bank employee near the front door and he was able to get them for me. There are a few ATM's here but not as many as you would think you'd see in a bank this huge. There is a Red Barn Coffee Roasters location on the first floor and I went over there to grab a bottle of water.

This location is for major banking transactions, and not the day-to-day issues of debit card replacement (what I went in for). I was in training across the street for a few days, and despite my flexible availability, I had to go back a few times due to how busy their bankers were (not tellers). They were able to address all of my issues by the next day after a short meeting with a representative. For how large this location is, there were only 4 ATMs present at the entrance.

Bank of America gets the gas face in a big way from me ... if you know what I mean ... Alright ... imagine, you're in the heart of the city, downtown, just outside of Post Office Square, right? And you just want to deposit your check from work. I personally do not trust putting a check in the bank machine deposit at all ... so I opt to wait for a teller. For a little live assistance. Well, as I am waiting in a breadline from like Soviet Russia circa 1982, just trying to get some single ply toilet paper from the bottom of the social plight barrel here, a kindly gentleman asks me if I am just depositing, no cash back. I say 'yes' ... and then I am asked if I have my bank card, at which point I lie and say no. Look, I know you make it super, super easy to put the money in, but why not make it friendly and courteous customer service on the input AND the output? Ya know? So, I wait the entire lunch hour and then some to just put my money in the bank and get a printed receipt handed to me by a teller. I do not trust the whole system of, fill out this form with all your personal info on it and I will put it in this gigantic stack to just hand to one of the 2 or 3 underpaid, overworked reps behind the understaffed desk ... we'll put it in later, when its not so busy, aight? No way! Ok ... not to mention { but I will, right? } that annoying electroMarima jingle that plays w/ voiceover in the bank machine around the corner from work. The modern symphony of bings, beeps, and other noises as people type in usernames, passwords and make their simple transaction requests. Its all automated, all the time, 24-7, 8 days a week ... yeah, yeah, yeah ... can you give me my fr!kken money please? And then, since you've drastically reduced the staff, can you perhaps build the corporate savings you've just finagled into some incentive to keep my accounts with your bank? Bank of Ameriga ... thank you veryMuch ...
