What a great team! We were looking to redo the kitchen floor so a friend recommended us to Eddie, the owner. He actually came out himself and greeted us and did the estimate for us. It came in a tad higher than some other estimates we got. Just knowing his track record and from what other people have said about Eddie and his company was enough for us to make this easy decision to go with Smart Coats. The guys came and completed the work in no time! We barely noticed them there they were so clean. They did such a great job we're redoing our master bathroom and closet with Eddie. I can't say enough awesome things about Eddie and his crew, thank you so much for making our experience one to remember!

This is the second time we used Smart Coats. First time, they did our bathroom renovation . We were very happy with the job they did and we used them the second time to do renovation for our living room, dining room, bedrooms and kitchen. They have the best crews. They were friendly , hardworking and very skillful . Marcio was the Supervisor, he was awesome, friendly and attentive to our concerns. The work was done on schedule and they cleaned up each day. We are happy with the result. One downside is we had some electric work done but we wish they had been more proactive in speaking with us about electric improvements that could have been logically a part of the job. Smart Coats is a trustworthy company. Each renovation, our bills never varied from our contracts. We recommend Smart Coats for anyone who is looking for a good crew to do a great job with your home renovations.

Just can't figure it out. They were really nice, professional, and prompt. Came to visit to do a review of the work. Seemed really interested and promised a quote back. After following up a couple of times with Ashley who promised to have a quote the next day, we have yet to see anything back. I totally get companies are busy, but I would just think there would be some professional courtesy. Such a bummer.

I talked to many contractors and picked Smart Coats after reading reviews and reaearching the company. Well they started gutting my kitchen and 3rd fl. Then could not ger anyone out to my house for 2 weeks. They started April 1st and said it would take up to 6 weeks. Well 13 weeks later it was complete ( I thought). I had to call themb ack to finish or repair things. Today I now see another problem. If I could I would go back and either chose another company or not deal with the project managers ( i went through 3). Windows not ordered, workers wanting to come at 4 and leave at 9pmYou might think I am just someone who ishard to deal with but I'm not. I left it up to them to pick my windows, doors and countertops. I allowed them into my house on weekends and let them stay late. I just wanted a clean easy kitchen and spare rooms on the 3rd floor.Now ita November and another problem arose.How many stars would I give them none.

This is not a review of work done, because we were never able to actually work with them. But smartcoats gave us a quote for a bathroom, we spent time getting our questions answered and were ready to hire them. As we were preparing to sign, they came back to us and let us know they underbid and would not revise their bid at all, leaving us completely in a lurch as we had already told other contractors we were not going to use them. Anyway, the whole process was very unprofessional and I encourage anyone considering them to consider carefully.

BY FAR SMART COATS was the PERFECT choice for our project. I never worked with a more professional contractor ever. They kept in constant contact, worked very hard, did an extreme lever of QUALITY AND DETAILING on our home. Their crew were some nicest guys we ever had the pleasure of working with. They were timely, CLEAN, respectful of our important residents and really made the extra effort to make an OUTSTANDING job for our Veterans, they are so proud of their new home!Look don't waste time with a guy in a pick up, hire the BEST, SMART COATS! they gave our VETS the best value for our money possible! We were not looking for a cheap job, we were focused on a GREAT JOB at very fair price. NO BETTER WAY TO PAINT ANY HOME or other project. I would use them over and over, as the go to painting company. YOU should too.

Smart Coats is highly professional from the beginning to the end. Initially we met with a Project Manager, Ken who served as our point contact throughout the duration of our kitchen remodel. We lived here during the entire process and found the foreman, Brian and entire team really lovely and considerate (they even saved our cat from running into the cabinetry and out the door a few times). Others can barely believe how quickly our entire process went and we are absolutely pleased with the final result.

Excellent service. I did my kitchen a year ago all the work has held up I get tons of compliments and it was very fairly priced. Ken was easy to work with and always returned my calls. They supplied the plumber and electrician everyone mostly kept to schedule. Like any project went a little over the time of completion but they worked around my schedule to finish the job. They also cleaned up afterwards! First contract I’ve worked with that did a proper cleaning. Doing my bathrooms in a year they will be getting my business again!

Carter Roman and his team are fantastic. I needed some interior painting done and either availability, scheduling of the work, and price was perfect. Carter took pictures of the work in progress and shared details to ensure I was happy with their work. I have recommended Carter and Smart Coats to several friends and everyone who worked with them was very happy with their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Our school just had Smart Coats paint a large metal awning, posts and stair rails. The awning had never been painted and had some trees beginning to grown on top. The posts and rails had been painted but were very chipped. To say this was all VERY unsightly would be an understatement. They power washed everything first and then painted the awning one color and the posts another. It looks fantastic and we have already gotten many positive comments!Ed was wonderful to work with, came right away to give us a quote and responded to every email promptly. The crew was hard working and super pleasant even when we had a hard time finding an outside water source to power wash. They were meticulous, thorough and did an excellent job. We are so pleased and highly recommend Smart Coats.

Smart Coats did exterior painting of the house, including sanding of fluted columns, and painting of rooms. Great work, very efficient. Had textured ceilings smooth out, replastered and painted. They did it very quickly without making a mess. Stress-free! Beautiful work! Will use them again. And they are so friendly!They built us a great deck too. Love it

I am very satisfied with their work. I have an older home (built in the 1940's) that is a combination of wood and stucco. They did a good job preparing the house for painting and replacing rotted wood where needed. The stucco had cracked and peeled and was difficult to repair. They did an excellent job to make it look nice by peeling, sanding and covering the damaged stucco with cement before painting so it appears smooth. I am very pleased with the result.
