Women beware
This place hates women. Told me I need a new motor and wiring harness Gonna cost 5-6 grand charged me $160 to put in one spark plug and wires, that were used. Told me to junk it. One of the cylinders was bad . I won’t go into the previous things this shop has screwed me on but my neighbor (who’s not a mechanic) has it running better than ever for $800. If this s¥!thole isn’t capable of doing THE JOB get out of the business. Don’t go to this place!!!!!

Jon’s was so busy I had a two week wait but he had so many locals say “He’s the best around.” I was really glad I waited because he looked at my issues and solved everything quickly. I would recommend this business to anyone that wants good work and honesty!

I am a new resident of Athol and I required a mechanic that could replace my Jeep’s catalytic converter, Jon’s Automotive turned out to be a great solution. I made several inquiries to other garages and Jon’s had the best price. The service he provided was excellent as well. I was very happy with Jon’s and will continue to bring my vehicles to him.

I’ve been in athol since January and the moment I found jons auto I knew he would be my go to mechanic, if he finds an issue with a car he will let you know, he is very honest and I highly recommend him for all your car needs, very fair pricing as well!

We were passing through Athol and needing to refuel our diesel wagon when we discovered that due to a minor rear-end collision earlier in the day, the fuel tank would no longer accept a diesel nozzle. We stopped by Jon's, (who happened to be closest to where we discovered the problem) and he dropped everything that he was doing and gave us a temporary fix that allowed us to fuel up and keep going. What a remarkable act of kindness! We ended up having a great anniversary weekend and will can not thank Jon enough for his knowledge and help. In my book, this is about as good as it gets.
