Rude employees!!!

The food is your typical fast food. You get what you expect. Saying that, the management is very lacking and rude. I placed a mobile order today, went to the drive thru and was parked because they just received my order. Ok, no problem there. Then a guy comes out saying that there was an issue and the payment didn't go through. Odd, it says paid on the app, which I showed him. I then went a step further and checked my bank account and it was there as a pending charge which means it went through. I showed this to him as well. He said ok, give me a moment to look further into this. Understanding that things happen, I was ok with this. Here is where it went downhill. About 5 minutes later he comes back out with a different customer's receipt to show me what a paid receipt looks like. I told him that I understand there seems to be an issue with their POS system, but I showed that it has been taken from my account. He continues to argue with me. He asks me to open the app again to show him the order marked paid. I open the app, pull up the history and he sees that the status is still "pending". He tells me it is pending because the payment did not go through. I then opened the receipt and showed him it says paid and that the "pending" status is because it was not completed on their end. I then walk into the store with him to try to figure this out and he continues to argue with me. He then says he will call his boss. Fine, I am waiting and at this point I am getting mad that I cannot just get the food that I clearly paid for. After another 5 minutes of him on the phone (and a good 20 minutes total) he says that his boss said he can't give me the food. I was completely shocked and at this point got angry. They refused to give me the food that I paid for. Then as I am walking out the door to cancel my order, the guy, who happens to be the manager, says that if he gives me the food, it will come out of his pocket. I know that is a lie as I have worked in fast food and management. If it is not a lie, then shame on Wendy's. Oh and the kicker, the order was a total $15.90. I ended up going to the Wendy's in Cookeville where I had a completely different experience. Just avoid this location. Slow service and bad management.

I can't bring myself to give this place a 1 star because everyone else that works there is so nice and efficient, but the black gentleman that works the register frequently is so unbelievably miserable and rude for no reason. He's clearly got some issues, but I imagine many of them are self-inflicted. Management needs to move him far away from a customer-facing position.

Have never had an issue here. Sometimes they’re a bit slow but our orders have always been right and they’ve never run out of a sauce or couldn’t provide a frosty

This location is always clean, the employees are friendly and efficient. Parking lot is kind of poorly designed, but that's honestly the only downfall to it.

My wife and I went to Wendy's Restaurant on 11030 Veirs Road, Silver Spring, MD for lunch at 1.37 PM on 3/30/2023. My wife ordered an Apple Pecan Salad with crispy spicy chicken. I ordered a Dave's Double Cheeseburger with fries. After eating, I started feeling ill about 1 hour after eating and by 3 pm I developed a session of bad diarrhea that persisted for several hours. My wife developed diarrhea similar to mine at about 4 pm. For Breakfast this morning I had a bowl of a single package of instant oatmeal mixed with boiling water at about 7:30 AM. My wife had a breakfast of oatmeal that required cooking for several minutes in boiling water. We both had oatmeal for breakfast, just from different packages. At Wendy's for lunch the only common items we ate in her salad and my burger were lettuce, tomatoes, and onion. Yet we both developed diarrhea several hours later at about the same time. We called Wendy's and asked to speak to the manager about their food being contaminated. His reply was that they only use fresh vegetables and we must have eaten something else somewhere else and hung up the phone. The only thing we had eaten somewhere else was dinner at about 5:00 PM the day before at our home. My wife and I do not eat the same foods. We eat different diets. At home, I eat mostly canned and frozen foods. My wife mostly only eats only freshly prepared foods at home. The dinners we had the night before were completely different from each other. The bottom line is that we both developed diarrhea at the same time after eating at this Wendy's. The fact that we both developed diarrhea at about the same time after eating at Wendy's without each of us eating the same food for the previous 24 hours strongly suggest that Wendy's has a problem with selling spoiled food. The fact that the employee just immediately denied Wendy's responsibility without giving us a chance to tell him the above facts suggests, to us, that he had already heard about complaints about this problem and did not wish to here any more. I reported this to the health department and hopefully they will investigate the situation.

Black guy at the front register was rude for no reason. I ask him for a burger and miss named it and he snapped at me like I worked there, and was supposed to know every item by heart. I asked him we he was so hostile. His response was “I’m 57 years old! I’m not gonna change so I don’t care! ” I just responded “I didn’t ask you to change. I was asking why you’re being rude” He just repeated the same thing. So I told him I’ll just fill out the survey and for him and he said he didn’t care and said my name is Tony (which he told me wasn’t his real name cause he didn’t have a name tag on anyways) but if you see this guy don’t even wast you time ordering cause you’re about to have the worse experience ever. But if I’m in the area I’ll be sure to stop by and say “Hi” to Tony every chance I get to bring some positivity into his day ?
