Evelyn has been my phlebotomist twice. Nice lady, but these have been the most painful blood draws I have ever had. My arm hurts in certain positions and is sore for several days. I also get a bruise that lasts for about a week. My bandage after the blood draw is soaked with more blood than I have ever seen after other blood draws.The process to get the blood draw done is easy enough. I make a reservation on Quest's website. Evelyn doesn't take walk-ins after 3:30 because she is done with her workday at 4:00. I can park for free in Safeway's parking lot, and then I check in on an electronic station in the Quest waiting room. There isn't usually more than one other person waiting. Evelyn puts my info into the computer system and takes my blood, and I am usually in and out in about a half hour or less.

I came for some blood work. I paid for street parking and was seen promptly. It probably helped that I came at a non-busy time, 2pm. The lab is located inside Safeway.

It is my practice to start with that which is positive in all of my Yelp Reviews. This Quest location is inside a Safeway store. The store is beautiful. The waiting room is beautiful. The young lady who took the blood was downright rude. I was having my blood drawn there because, another Quest location lost the results of a previous blood draw and then did not tell me that the results were lost. From the previous blood draw I had tests ordered by two doctors. Only the test results ordered by one doctor were reported. I had to go get a second blood draw. The young woman at this location became very upset when they did not have the order. She said: "We close soon." That was the appointment they made for me. I showed them the order on my IPhone. She threw a hissy fit. She did eventually do the blood draw. Quest only has one real competitor LabCorps and they are awful too. I had blood taken for this doctor, who really is very good; and the doctor wanted my Vitamin D Level checked. Insurance did not want to pay for it. My mother paid out of pocket. My care coordinator told me either the phlebotomist or the doctor could call and appeal. We were to be reimbursed. I tried contacting Quest and never heard back. Many people in the medical community see the respect doctors get and think: "Why am I not as good?" The answer is simple: "Because you haven't earned it." Quest does not have enough competitors. All these people are awful.

I'm very unhappy with the reception I got when I arrived for my appointment.. When asked if I showed any symptoms of COVID, my response was NO. I then said that I might have been exposed but did not know and wanted the test to be sure I was safe, especially since I will be traveling in a few days. I was told that the Quest Diagnostics could not give me a test and I was sent home. It was not clear why, but upsetting and ridiculous none the less.

Lab tech incorrectly label my blood work as fasting and refused to have the report corrected. She was than Inappropriately was complaining to her next patient, discussing my blood work with them.Obviously she does not know the HIPA regulations. She kept complaining to the next patient, that i told her i had fast when I did not, She never asked me if I fasted. I called the corporate office to inform them . The corporate office corrected and resent the lab work report. I still have not heard from the compliance officer about the violation of the HIPA law. I left a message and never received a return call. This is the second time I had blood work at quest where they sent the blood work report as fasting when it was not fasting blood work. They never ask the patient if they had fast, Luckily the blood work did not require fasting. IF the blood work required fasting I would have to have it redone. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

Evalynn at Quest diagnostics was REALLY understanding and patient with me. Some information of mine was missing but she was patient and told me what I needed. She honestly TREATED ME WELL and that means A LOT to me. You’re amazing EVALYNN. B. ??

I have had labs done twice with Evalynn (sp?) inside of Wheaton Safeway. It was fast and easy both times with no wait.

This location is understaffed. Prepare to wait in line (no issue), however with the physician trying to manage specimen collection and sign in, people are often cut and skipped. It happened to me twice. You can basically walk in and sign into the touch screen without getting your temperature taken; while others wait. People who try and follow the rules are skipped. It happened to me twice. I wanted to get my temperature taken while another man walk in sign in and sat down. He was seen before me because he signed in. This is highly upsetting. I informed the physician and she still attended to the man before me even though she saw me waiting in line.

Very rude phlebotomist. Needs to learn how to read and interpret the dates on a prescription. (The Hispanic lady. The black lady is very nice with excellent bedside manner).

I easily made an appointment online and arrived a few minutes early. The location was clean, no wait for my appointment and the staff person was delightful and thorough. She reviewed with me each of the labels before they were applied to the samples and her technique for drawing the sample was without any incident.

If you purchased your lab online don't go here because the lady working here doesn't know how to use the computer system. She won't be able to do any work for you and turn you away! And then she'll tell you that YOU did something wrong! I'm warning you!

This Quest lab location inside of the Safeway is fantastic! Evalyn had the sweetest bedside manner, and took great care of me. I am very sensitive to getting my blood drawn, and I am so grateful for her gentleness and caring of me!
