Pay attention to their horrible star ratings. This company stinks to high heaven! Stay far, far away unless you enjoy dealing with a ton of BS. I've been waiting all day for them to deliver my couches FOR THE 6TH TIME!!! They no showed once again without explanation. Please learn from my mistake and never purchase anything from this company. You will be thankful you didn't!! P.S. I am confident that any 5-star reviews are fake. Don't believe them!

Melanie was such a fabulous sales consultant at R. Gavigans store. I couldn’t believe how incredible the service was that she provided and I walked out with a lovely piece of furniture I couldn’t be happier with. Thank you so much!!!

We’ve had our couch for 5 months and the cousins are pilled and we have to flip the cushions because they are worn. We still owe a lot of money and the couch looks like crud!

I highly recommend Gavigan's! I had fabulous customer service, and will hopefully be back again with my kids. I'm really not sure why they only have one and a half stars... for me, they have five stars!! Danielle and Mike that I met this weekend are both fabulous. I called Gavigan's on Friday, I currently live in southern Utah. My mother has been in the hospital , Here in Maryland, for the past three weeks and very recently requested a recliner BEFORE she gets released on Monday... That's only three days and I didn't get in until Saturday, late! I called and spoke with Danielle on Friday. She sent me photos dimensions and kept in contact with me until I arrived. I did make it in there Saturday to see them in person. We Sent the photos to my mom in the hospital and I had her recliner in the house by 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon! HIGHLY RECOMMEND GAVIGAN'S!!

Edit from the recliner I ordered- I don’t leave bad reviews but people need to be informed we had sectional we purchased delivered and then went back to purchase a recliner bc our lazy boy was getting worn. We decided to pick it up in linthicum to save on delivery fee, and buy the protection plan. When we get it home it has a bad imperfection. I call them and they say since we picked it up we have to take it back and they fix it and then go pick it up again. We live a hour away from where it will go. They have a service that will come to your house to fix it but they won’t do that since it was picked up and not delivered, if it was delivered they would come out to us. Very unfortunate, I’ve bought 2 sectionals from gavigans over the last 6 years. The customer service isn’t the best at this location, it’s owned by another family member with different management. And don’t buy the protection plan because you can’t use that either in this situation. So now we have a recliner we paid $1441 for and has a mark on it.Very happy with my purchase. They said the couch would come in 4-6 weeks and we got the couch in 4 weeks. The delivery men did a very good job setting up and very professional and hid the power cord for me for power recliner. Our living room is small so we had to customize the sectional. And it fits perfect. I ordered a recliner too and can’t wait to get it!

Ordered a front room set, was told it would take about 8 weeks, called at 10 weeks and was told only 1/2 items were in and it would be 2 more weeks for the rest, called again at 12 weeks, 3 months and now I'm told it will be another month! 16 weeks??? Called Corp # and kept being told I could not speak to anyone besides the store manager, who is on vacation! Horrible customer service! I asked if I could get the items that's been sitting on warehouse and was told I'd have to pay an additional $100! Unbelievable, and this is a family owned business? I will NEVER buy anything from this overpriced and poor service place again!

We had a very good experience here. There is a great deal of inventory to choose from. Our salesperson, Christina, was knowledgeable and helpful (and not at all pushy). We chose a special order style (3 pieces in total) which took about three months to be delivered (but this was still during all the supply chain woes). Delivery team was very professional.

Visited Gavigan's today for the first time. What a HUGE store! Although they didn't have what we were looking for, we would definitely go back! Sales associate Melody was wonderful ?

We bought a cheaper sofa today. Not much sales pressure. Clean store, I can't say there was many good clearance deals like at Bobs discount store but this isn't a discount store. They dont even sell let you take the furniture with you. You can pay for delivery or pick it up in Linthicum Md. The papers state that you MUST BRING HELP and no loading assistance is provided. Not very good service on the AFTER Sales services.

Spent a very large amount of money on two couches, waited 6 months for them to come. They are 2 months old now and there is already indents in the cushions. I have to flip and message them once a week. The build quality is not worth the money paid. I have a couch that's 10 years old and looks less worn out than this 2 month old couch and paid considerably less.
