“The visit was fine. I was able to get an additional Simpatico Trio tablet for September since we will be on vacation. However, you need to sharpen or get a new nail trimmer because Tinker Bells claws are very rough and are scratching my arms.”

“I just had the most amazing emergency veterinarian visit ever. We are from out of town for a family emergency, and our fur baby just had his own emergency surgery 5 days again. He began to decline, and Dunkirk Animal Hospital got him in Sunday am, 20 minutes after we called. They were patient with us and our kitty. Very thorough. He was diagnosed, and his treatment was explained well. I am thankful and feeling blessed. We are confident our baby is on the right road. Now we can concentrate more on our infirmed human and let the kitty heal. Thank you so much.

“Look, here’s the deal! I moved here from DC in 2002. It took me months to feel like the first home WE bought was actually ours!
Took time to also get used to the different culture and lifestyle. We were not “boaters.”
The biggest surprise of all though was how much the town truly is, “A Dogs’ Town!”
Being a dog person it only made sense that I might have moved to the right place!
Bay Ridge Animal Hospital has made tough decisions that have either “helped us make THOSE difficult decisions” or have kept so many of our dogs ALIVE.
They are not perfect! No one is! But they give a damn and their expertise shows it!
Have faith, be kind and believe - this IS the first place I go to for my pet needs. It’s not cheap, but anything that is worth it when it comes to your family members, you GET UP. Thank you after all of these years and about 8 animals!”

“While we’re not regular patients here, they were there in our time of need. The staff are kind and helpful, the vets caring and thoughtful. Ultimately we had to make the decision to have our dog put down, which was not expected. Dr. Taylor was delicate about my feelings and was kind enough to provide a comforter for our pup to lay on while I said my good-byes. Knowing that she was comfortable and in good hands made this very heart breaking experience a little easier to deal with. Thank you to all!”
