I got the goat, oxtails, peas and rice, peppers,fresh from this store and cooked them, I am very pleased ?also my Callao was great, I haven’t had this in a while!

As a Trini I willingly drive an hour here for a taste of home and ingredients of home. If people don't like it here I promise you they aren't Caribbean. I would take the negative comments with a grain of salt. If you know, you know. We like the prices. My grandma who is also Trini loves it here. West Indian granny approved.

I love going to the Caribbean market, I can always find my favorite curry, root vegetables, and things that I miss from home. My children also like coming here, to see and smell the fresh foods.
The Caribbean Market is located on the lower level of a multi-story commercial building in Takoma Park, Maryland. It was first established in 1995 with the idea of providing foods familiar to many residents from the Caribbean region, and others fascinated with foods of the Caribbean. Enjoy an array of well-stocked West Indian foods and products made available to the delight of patrons, some of whom have shopped with TCM since the beginning! Also, enjoy a selection or warm prepared foods from the deli!
