I live in the neighborhood. The owner is very rude and dismissive. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

Spoke to a person on the phone on Monday, told me the owner "James" takes in new inventory on Tuesday and I think Friday so bring your items in at 11a, I had a large 65gallon bin and a smaller bin with just shirts and sweaters. Sat there from 11a till 2p and no one ever showed up, I called a couple times and left messages while I waited with no call or reply back, called a couple more times during the day just to see what happened and still no answer. Called the next morning and the owner James answered and I explained what happened yesterday and his tone was very rude and he didn't even care to address why his shop wasn't open and NEVER even apologized, I have a certain style of clothing so that's why I sought out a black owned consignment shop. I'm not gonna do the stereotypical black business narrative because there are plenty of us that conduct business properly, on-time and professionally BUT THIS GUY ISN'T ONE OF THEM

Took a field trip, braved the cold to Takoma Park. I grew up steps from Berkeley, CA and Takoma Park transports me back to a Berkeley neighborhood each time I go. This shop was great and full of hidden surprises! Not all the clothing was in pristine condition and definitely lots to see. I settled on a pair of red corduroy pants (vintage Ralph Lauren). Yes, most likely will return. There is also a delicious Mexican restaurant super close Cielo Roja.

I arrived just before 11am opening and waited until til 11:30 and they still weren’t open :(I was excited to check this place out and was disappointed that they didn’t open at the time advertised. Will try again some other time.

Not very friendly! The man who I spoke to yesterday was kind of rude. I wanted to drop off some men's dress shirts and he completely dismissed me saying he wasn't interested in seeing what I had and that men's dress shirts don't sell very well especially during COVID....I hope to not ever have to come back to this place ever again!There are other better consignment stores to choose from and hopefully ones that have better employees who have good customer service skills and manners!BTW They also don't answer their phone system! How professional is that! I called several times to try to save me a trip and got no luck reaching anyone!

Went there on Mother's Day with my wife. She loved the curvy rack! I saw a few things I wanted to buy but they weren't in my size. I bought two vintage ties and the owner gave me a good deal on them. Now all they need to do is add a men's thickums rack..

The people who work here are super nice. They often have such great sales. I prefer stuff that's even older than what they typically sell, but it's worth it to come here for shoes.

BEAUTIFUL BLACK OWNED VINTAGE STORE!!!! It's a hump tho if you don't live in the area . The gems are unmatched and the upstairs area, WHEW!!! I spent like a solid 45 mins up there going through EVERYTHING!!! I loved that there were Euro coats and jackets of all fabrics and textures. Leathers, tweeds, corduroy, suede... and the cuts, suits, FULL SUITS, shirts, sweaters; a treasure chest of goodness!!! I will definitely be back, thank GOD they were having a sale cause I got a really amazing deal y'all. Plus they offer military discounts. I couldn't wait to get these lovely items home and broker some looks honey. I love this place and it will be seeing me again FOR SUREEEE!!! Thanks Bespoke Not Broke

I had the most amazing experience at this store today. I called in the morning since it was the day after Christmas, and I inquired about inventory. I was told the times they would be open, the items they had in stock based on my choices, and boy oh boy was I surprised by their inventory. It's safe to say I've found a new, favorite, local consignment shop. This place pretty much beats out all the other's I've visited in the area. Wide variety and helpful staff = great customer service is always a win in my book.

I'd love to make this a 5 star review, but I stopped at 6:30 pm on Monday and the store was closed. I've had good luck before, but it sounds like the hours are unreliable.

I cosigned with this establishment and had a positive experience. One must make an appointment prior to cosigning. James, the owner or manager was a pleasure to work with, chooses the items, and sets the prices fairly. He was more than polite, and even helped me take some of the items out from my car parked out front, because I had so many items. If the clothes to do not sell in a specific timeframe, James allows one to pick them back up, however, also make appointment to do so. Then you must go through the items, yourself, to locate your belongings, so make sure you keep an itemized list. They do not call you when items sell, you must keep the communication going yourself, to make it work for you. James keeps his own method however, for what sells. For the items that did sell, I had no problems automatically receiving my payment, by a check in the mail. This business is very professional and trustworthy. I would cosign with them again. They also have quite a nice selection of clothes, and accessories, that are vintage, some are upscale items that are just a couple of years old, gently worn, and a few new items as well, in a variety of sizes, small, medium, large, and plus, which is refreshing. A very enjoyable shopping experience, as well as cosigning, which is unusual for most consignment shops I've reviewed in the area. Kudos to James!!

Man all I can say is I shop globally and this spot is at the top of my list. Great men finds at a fraction of the original cost and yet the merchandise is still quality. I can't wait to return on business from the "Chi".

A fantastic selection truly... I am fully a vintage snob and this store is filled with gorgeous items that left me saying "they just don't make 'em like this anymore"
