I will be contacting Corporate first thing tomorrow morning. I have encountered the most rudest young lady at register 5 by the name of Nancy . i asked to speak with a Manager bc there were several expired items on the floor and I questioned her about it. She felt bc i was challenging her that i was being aggressive. Really? Amazing bc this cashier saw another customer walking up the cashier and all of a sudden says, your being aggressive and I dont help aggressive people. Its almost as if the young lady said that to save herself and to make it seem that way just in case I decided to call Corporate. I know the game. Im a customer I have a right to know why there are items on the floor that I almost bought and are 3 mths old! To tell you the truth a young man who supposedly acting as a Manager by the name of Aubrey said Nancy was her name. I don't believe him. I dont know what type of people Safeway is hiring but they need customer service training period. This young lady was literally arguing back and forth with me over who her manager was bc she said she didn't know. You don't know who your Manager is who most likely hired you. BULL. Then she tells me her Manager is in a meeting,
oh your Manager is in a meeting at 8pm at night. For Aubrey allowed this young child to go back and forth running her mouth the way she had is unbelievable . They are in cohoots with one another. I will be contacting corporate. The young lady then tells me that I should be ashamed as a black woman which i believe was very very racist. It's inexcusable period. Store number 1565. 15411 New Hampshire Ave.Cloverly. Safeway please train your youth better!

Always well stocked and clean. The staff is very friendly and willing to help when you need it! On busy days there's not many carts left but they do their best and its appreciated!

Unfortunately, I’ve had too many instances where my food/products are expired… this is dangerous and I recommend being cautious about checking the expiration date so you don’t realize it’s expired after taking a bite. Also no one feels like going through the hassle of returning/exchanging expired products. They should just be removed from the shelves.

PLEASE NOTE: This review is SOLELY for the deli department. This Safeway location is one of the best in every other aspect, 5 stars.
But for the last few months, the deli department has had two new additions. I’m assuming they are the two younger hires. They have the NASTIEST attitudes. First of all, the gentleman doesn’t even greet you or really acknowledge you. The young lady acts like she’s doing you a favor by serving you. I’m not sure if she was told upon hire that she would have to deal with people and have to interact with them in order to take their orders. I’ve tried to ignore it but, the rudeness I witnessed today from the young lady was too much.

Store has really gone downhill. Selection limited, don't go for produce, and at night the workers sit up on the table and chat with each other and don't even pay attention. Trash everywhere and they couldn't care less

Never more than one checker. Could be the biggest shopping day of the year. No hand baskets. Products are good. Management is terrible.

I was having difficulty getting the RSV vaccine and Sergei at Cloverly Safeway was very helpful in providing it. I did not wait long and was very appreciative that I could receive it. I did not have a good experience elsewhere. We will be shopping at this store much more. Thank you very much.

This safeway is great, close by my house, good customer service and excellent pharmacy staffs but please clean the bathroom or even better renovate it. Its in terrible shape, smelly, leaky and run down. I have gone here for 8 years and the bathroom has always been in this condition.

Though this store's layout is completely opposite of the Safeway I go to, it flows better this way! Plus they had ample beef bacon ?!!

Was able to find everything me and my dad needed for my grandma's birthday. It is very well stocked with gluten-free and dairy free options for anyone with allergies, everyone ive met so far!
