This is one of the best stores around. You can always find great deals after becoming a member. You can also use their pharmacy, which has the lowest prices for prescription drugs in the area. In addition, Costco is always adding new products in their store. Moreover, you can also buy online at costco.com. I would recommend this store to others who are looking for a good deal and want to buy products in bulk.

Easily the worst Costco in the area. Let me count the ways: - Aggressive upselling at every customer contact point (checkout, pick-up, returns/customer service desk) of executive membership upgrades. You could be dealing with a screaming, thrashing child (as I was the other day), and the staff and managers have zero qualms about slowing down checkout and wasting your time trying to get you to pay for an executive membership, all the while condescendingly explaining how they're, in fact, trying to do you a favor. Read the room, people. On the weekends, we're just trying to get out in one piece with our purchases as painlessly and as quickly as possible. - The produce management is very poor; restocking is slow or doesn't happen at all, and on many occasions I find fruit that's on the cusp of going bad or already moldy/rotten. - The spacing in front of the registers is insufficient. Granted, it's a tight space for a Costco, but removing an aisle would make life much easier for everyone at checkout. - Curt/brusque staff across the board. They're generally coming across as stressed as the customers are. -considered doing my tires here since it's bustling always. But, be aware. They don't do alignment, which was shocking to me - it's a best practice. I checked around, found a local tire garage - the same tires with balancing and alignment ended up being cheaper than Costco (even after a manufacturer rebate). Otherwise, it's just a normal Costco with the usual stuff at the usual prices.

look Costco is a good shopping center but their service is not okay and I think the should improve some of things. Specially the new law that make people upset like if a husband sign for a membership his wife should have a right to shop with the card. so please consider this and stop making your members upset.

This is by far my favorite Costco in the DMV area. Staff were very friendly. Tons of things on sale prices end with .97 or .00. I would come here all the time if it was not so far from where I live. Best prices among all Costco nearby!

Compare to the Costo at Gaitherburg and Beltsville, this Wheaton Costco Tire Center is the best. Hats off to Michael O and Michael P. This is the first time I came to Wheaton Costco Tire Center and my experience is a lot better than the other two. The wait time is not so bad. They tell you to expect the long hour but I sat in and waited. Took less than expected. Mike O and Mike P are the managers that I dealt with. They are very professional, very courteous, and very honest. They explained to me in details my car situation. They fixed the issue I had in my car and very pleased with the result. While waiting for my car I heard people in the line to get their car serviced are from Virginia, Washington DC, even from Annapolis. They too prefer this Costco. My message to Costo and their CEO, please keep Michael O and Michael P whatever it takes to keep them happy working at your Costco Tire Center in Wheaton. We need more of them working for Costco.

This review is based on customer service at this particular location. I was making a small return item with the original receipt and the staff was being rode and went too far on me about the membership card. Very unprofessional and rode I have never had any bad experience at any Costco customer service counter before!

I am very pleased with the team here. They handled a name change due to gender transition very professionally and filled a prescription for a medication that is back ordered elsewhere. This is an LGBTQ friendly pharmacy with good generic pricing. You don’t need to be a Costco member to use the pharmacy but membership does get you discounts. Check it out.

Unfortunate Experience at Costco Tire Wheaton: Negligence and Denial of Responsibility I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the service I received at the Costco Tire Center in Wheaton, Maryland. On October 23rd, I brought my car to the center for a routine tire rotation, and the outcome was nothing short of a troubling ordeal. While performing the tire rotation, the technicians at the center found and informed me that a lugnut and a stud on the rear left wheel of my vehicle were damaged. Over the phone, I told them that I only had the tire serviced at their center before so if there were any damages to the wheel, they must have been the fault of the center. They told me to complete a claim form and seek repairs at a different auto shop. After filling in the form, I asked two staff members and got confirmation from them that I could go ahead with the repair and could return to Costco Tire Center with a receipt for reimbursement. I complied with their instructions, and on October 24th, I had the damaged components fixed by a Firestone shop at a cost of $350. Eager to have this issue resolved, I revisited the Costco Tire Center in Wheaton on October 27th, expecting to have the tires properly rotated and to receive the promised refund for the repair costs. To my dismay, the staff and the manager at Costco Tire Center attempted to avoid their responsibility and dragged their feet in addressing my concerns. They cited the need to review security camera footage to confirm the agreement made regarding repair and refund, as well as claimed that my case required higher management intervention. Furthermore, I was informed that another lugnut and stud on the same wheel were found to be in poor condition, and they refused to perform the tire rotation. It's important to note that I had purchased my tires from this same center in September 2022, and they had been exclusively serviced by Costco Tire Center for rotation. The implication is clear: any damage to the lugnuts and studs must have occurred during their previous service visits. This situation is not only exasperating but also erodes the trust I once had in Costco Tire Center in Wheaton. It's worth mentioning that this is not an isolated incident. In March, the same center caused a similar problem, but at that time, they promptly acknowledged their mistake and refunded me for the repair. While it inconvenienced me, I appreciated their commitment to rectify their error. However, this time, their conduct has been nothing short of evasive, casting doubt on their willingness to uphold the service commitment associated with the tire package I purchased from them. I strongly urge other customers to carefully reconsider conducting business with this center. My experiences have left me deeply dissatisfied, and it is apparent that they need to address their negligence and stand by their service commitments.

I placed a large order with Costco (2 pallets of paper) to be shipped.Order was placed on 8th Feb and still not shipped. The vendor has it in stock. Costco is not giving a straight answer about shipping and have messed up the order. Incorrect tracking # provided. On asking them none of their people can give us a correct I must say that their management has taken a downturn. Looks like they are too confident of themselves. If I was managing them, I would have fired the entire management team.

First time at this Costco and for a Sunday afternoon, it was chaos! Parking here was a mess. Entering the address takes you to a shopping mall where the Costco is located and my first attempt to park was in the garage. The traffic and dodging other shoppers pushing their carts throughout the garage was a mess. I finally left the garage to the outdoor parking area, which was a little better but not by much. To get in to the Costco, you essentially enter in to a mall. Once inside, it was the usual of what you will find at any Costco. There are a lot of shoppers, going in all directions, moving at various paces, distracted with their phones...makes an eventful and stressful experience. I came, I saw, and I learned...to never come back here on a weekend. Enjoy!

My granddaughter's Fourth birthday party was last Saturday. She loves pizza. Costco sells large pizzas for $10! My daughter and I arrived about 10 am. We ordered 6 pizzas at the order screen as we were paying with credit. This turned out to be enough plus some for leftovers! My daughter went to off to pick up a few Last minute supplies inside the store. I waited with a cart for my number #894 to be called. My daughter finished up & joined me. Just then our number was called but it was not to tell us that the order was ready. We were asked if we called the order in?? It had been about 20 minutes. As I continued to wait while my daughter went out to put her stuff into the car & to pull the car up at the front entrance. Then we both waited & waited!! It took 40 more minutes to finally get called back up to the counter! I went up 2 times just to inquire about it. By the time our number was called they were serving guests with numbers in the 930's. The cash only orders done at the counter that were smaller had all been finished! I don't know when they actually started on our order! We left immediately. It was after 11 am and the party had already started. In about 10 minutes we were home. The pizzas were a hit with the kids. I have no clue why people are rating this store so poorly. I've been going there regularly since it opened and have nothing but good things to say about staff, merchandise and prices. If I can't find the item I want at the Silver Spring location, the staff have helped me locate it at another store and called ahead to make sure it's held for me. It's a very busy store because it's such a good place to shop. The only issues I've ever seen were customers talking rudely to staff. I gave it a 5 and stick by that rating!

This review is for the tire center. Horrible unprofessional service. I went in last week Wednesday to get new tires. They didn't have them. Ended up ordering 4 special tires for my SUV ($1100). Guy tells me it should be there in 1 to 2 business days. Since I didn't hear anything from them I went in this week on Tuesday. Grumpy guy Julien Lamothe says no appointment for Tuesday & puts me in for 6pm Thursday. Finally I received a call from Costco tire center on Thursday about my tires at 5:45 pm to confirm that they have received my tires. I went and dropped off my SUV at 6pm. I received a call at 7:20pm saying that they cannot remove my spare rim underneath my SUV. I didn't have any special key or any other piece to remove it. When I had the flat tire Road side assistance helped me to take out my spare and put my old tire underneath. Costco should have these kind of gadgets to remove all types of tire (what's the point of having a tire center) Another guy was there & he said he will be able to remove the tire & lazy mechanic Jonathan comes & tells me if something happens while removing the tire underneath they are not liable for my tire/rim. It was a simple things to unscrew my tire which was underneath my SUV. They were so lazy to do it. Period. The main reason which really pissed me off was, Jonathan (btw - Jonathan is a moron) was telling me that he was doing me a favor. Since I was not in their appointment list. I think all of them are high on something. Very unprofessional, rude & pathetic. I ended up returning my order & got the refund. These unprofessional mechanics ruin Costco name. I really don't know why people go to places like these. This ruined my time & I have never had a bad experience like this mechanics before. I would suggest everyone not to go to this place. Very bad customer service. You can't expect professional service from this Costco Tire Center.
