This Sam's was great ... on the Saturday before school starts I was expected chaos but the visit was lovely. No lines ... workers consistently stocking the shelves and we even got free lollipops. Costco does not give my daughter lollipops lol I will use this location from now on.

The club is clean enough, but best of luck getting down aisles, as they only seem to stock during open hours. There aren't enough self checkouts, so checkout can take a while because most people aren't too bright. The absolute WORST thing about this club is the fact that, after checkout, getting out the door can take over five minutes since they inexplicably have to rescan every item in everyone's carts. Such a mind boggling level of insanity!

Its like children are running it, no one has any P&L responsibility, so no one cares to help customers, or, are so poorly trained. Mismarked ITEMS IF MARKED AT All. JHS EDUCATED EMPLOYEES THAT DONT GIVE A DARN. Its Wal Mart at best, scary....

Very frustrating. I took a return to Sam's Club and five days later I still do not have the amount of money credited to my account. However I did the same type of returns to Costco on the same day and received the credit to my account before I got home. Now I have to spend the next seven days watching my account to make sure that Sam's Club returns it. I don't understand this.

I visited the Severn Sam's Club to return a clothing item that was not a fit. After waiting for over 10 minutes, the associate at the counter waved me over, no greeting or pleasantries, just a wave. I let him know I wanted to exchange the item for a different size and he mumbled "you have to go get another one and bring it up". I confirmed that I had to go get one myself and he nodded. After returning with the item, he was helping another customer so I waited next to the spot he had placed my return on. He looked at me and said "all these people are next". I let him know he had already started helping me and he sent me away after waiting in line once. He smiled and said "that doesn't matter, you're going to have to wait in line again" very smugly. After trying to explain I didn't have time to wait again, and seeing how long the line had become, I took the item and said I would just leave. (admittedly I did tell him his service was terrible and to screw off, which was out of line on my part, but still no excuse for his behavior). As I was walking away he loudly laughed and mocked me, which really upset me. I walked to the cashiers area and asked for a manger. The person I spoke to said she was a manager and asked how she could help. I explained what had happened and she said "what choice does he have, it's either laugh at you or argue". I told her those aren't the only options and the service was not up to Sam's Club standards. She said she'd talk to him, but I did not get the impression she had any real concern for my experience. She asked me if I'd like a straight refund and I said "yes". I asked if the first employee could have done that and she said "yes, but it's not his job to offer, you have to tell him what you want to do". Had I been informed I would need to wait through a long line for a second time, but I had the option of a refund I definitely would have taken the refund. This is the worst service I've ever experienced at any Sam's Club, and as an ex Sam's Club employee I know they are expected to treat people better. Avoid this club at all costs. Costco, here I come.

We bought new tires but first checked to see if the installation people could drive a standard transmission and were told YES. When the tires came in, they called. No one at counter in store, people in installation said "we can't drive that car, go back in the store because they need to let us know you are here". Seriously. Back into the store, back to installation, my wife has to drive into the shop onto the lift. We'll call you on the store speaker when ready. They did not. We are very senior citizens. She had a shopping cart loaded with heavy items and 3 young men in their 20's watched her empty the cart into the trunk of the car without lifting a finger to or offering to help. She drove the car home and parked it in the driveway. 5 days later a neighbor pointed out a slice on the outside of one of the tires, like someone had carved it from back to front with a razor. It was a pretty big flap shaped like a tongue. She took photos, went back to the store, cashier looked at photos, looked at the tire and said "you ran into something". No, I drove it home, without running into anything and parked it. The slice was from back to front and If I had backed into something to make the direction of the cut, there would be car damage as well since it's on the outside of the tire. He said "yeah, well you must have run into something, I see a couple of 'dings' on the hub cap." This is a 20 year old Mustang in pristine condition, and the hubcaps are original...you installed a defective tire. "Nope. Too bad, so sad, you have a blessed day now". I would not buy tires from Sam's Club again.

I am not sure why this sams clubs ratings are all over the place. I have been to this one a couple of times. Always great customer service and a clean store. The only reason I am ringing them a star is the sales people in front as soon as you walk in. That's annoying. If I was interested in what was on your table I would come and chat with you. I know it's a job but it is still annoyed. Most DO NOT want to be bothered when entering a store. Aside from that sams makes buying in bulk a breeze with scan and go options. So easy!

I brought tires on-line. When I tried to contact the Severn store for installation at least 10 times no one ever answered the phone. I finally had to to go to the store in person. I was told it would be over two weeks before I get them installed. Sam's Club has a major management problem. It does not have a person to sell tires and check out installations. They do do have enough technicians to install the tires. The tire workers are plain tired. You can see the lack of management support in their eyes. They are afraid to speak out against the bad store manager. Bottom-line is that Sam's Club just does not know what they are doing. Pay the people a living wage and get 2 more people. Stop taking advice from consultants. Or, get out of the tire business!

Extremely easy curbside pickup experience. I ordered ahead of time, selected my date/time of pickup, received a text confirming my order is ready, notified them which parking spot I was in by texting back, and then within 5 minutes an employee came out with all of my items and helped me load them in the trunk. Truly a 5-star pickup experience!

I've been to multiple Sam's Clubs and this Sam's Club location is my location of preference. It's located right off of highway 97 and if you are traveling south and take the Quarterfield Rd exit, you ride straight ahead conveniently. For starters, they have a gas station right before you get to the club's lot. And I love that all you have to do is scan a QR code at the pump and you can pay right through the app. And it's always the lowest gas price available in the area. The club... plenty of parking available and designated parking for curbside pick up orders which are brought out to your car and placed in the trunk by the store's associate. Inside, masks are required, carts are always at the door ready to grab, inventory always fully stocked, they have quality products, the best prices, the store is clean, the staff are helpful, hot rotisserie chickens almost always available, the pizza tastes yummy, and more. I really don't have anything negative to say except I do wish there were consistently cleaning products available at the front door for the carts, and the line is always long. But I never have to get in the line because I use the Scan & Go function in the app that allows me to scan as I go and also pay for my purchase. It then provides you with a QR coded receipt that's scanned at the exit. I'm always in and out like the burger joint! Also, I don't know if this is every day, but typically on the weekends there is a food trailer serving yummy barbecue available for purchase in the parking lot. I always enjoy my shopping experience at this Sam's Club and I encourage you to try it out for yourself. :-)

Mangers there are the worst, they could care less about customers. They do not return calls, they don't even take calls when you call for them. The staff are rude , do not help at all- I would suggest Costco over Sams Club HORRIBLE SERVICE - DO NOT GO THERE

This is the worst experience I've ever had with any auto shop/mechanic or whatever you want to call it. NEVER EVER take your car to the Tire and Battery department. I brought my car in for new tires and they neglected to tell me that there would be over a 4 HOUR WAIT all because they were backed up on appointments from the beginning! They asked me if I was willing to wait a little while, I don't know about you but over 4 f****** hours is not a short goddamn wait. Not to mention, it apparently takes these mechanics 3 people to put on windshield wipers which (having a husband as a mechanic, I know this) should take 1 person, 2 if 1 person does each wiper. I will never be bringing my car back here in my life.

Have been a Plus member for over 10 years. Went to the Severn location to buy cologne. After waiting for 15 minutes, I found someone to assist me. She said they could not open the glass door to the display. Seriously?! Had to go back a few days later. The attitude of the managers are BS. They act like I'm bothering them when I ask for assistance. Show some respect to your customers - they probably spend on an average of $150-$250 each visit, I know I did. I now spend my money at BJ's. Much better customer service and prices are about the same.

Was in the sams club in Severn. The tire department was horrible. I waited at a unattended front desk before anyone in the back came in front there were already 2 people ahead of me. 1/2 hour it was my turn I was told I could have made a appointment for tire installation but the coils see me today. I asked approximately how long the wait would be and they said they had no idea. After waiting 2 hours they called me and said they could not find my tires that I ordered. I showed them the invoice that said they were delivered to that sams club. After a 1/2 hour they were located right there on the shelf. The tire bays were empty and my car Just sat there no one working in it. 2 guys hung out at the front desk and the other employee was on her break. The 3 people I was in line with their cars also just sat there. I was there from 10 until 3 I would not recommend this sams club tire center

I generally do not write reviews, but the experience I encountered at this specific location was very disappointing. I bought my Jeep Grand Cherokee in for a tire rotation on Tuesday 8/20. I shopped around for a couple hours for much needed groceries and about 2 hours later I received a phone call that my truck was ready for pick up. I walked to the desk to get my keys, and proceeded outside to my truck. Walking up to my truck on the driver side I quickly noticed something different. My Jeep branded center caps on my tires were missing!!!! Not only are they missing, the folks who did my tire rotation didn't have the decency to mention that they broke them! Livid, I went back into the servicing department. I spoke with the guy who did my rotation and was told to go to "Trak Auto", buy the tire caps, and bring back the receipt for reimbursement! That just added fuel to the fire! Why would I inconvenience myself like that when I work 12-15 hour days? What makes you think that I have time to go somewhere else to purchase something that should not have been broken in the first place!? Who said that I had the money to even purchase new center caps for them to even reimburse!? His response was not good enough so I requested to speak with the manager on duty. The manager on duty told me to give him 4 days. Here it is the Wednesday 8/28 and I have not heard a peep. I went back up to that location, and no one seemed to know what I was talking about. I asked if the manager I spoke with was there today and of course, conveniently he WAS NOT! Some may say big deal, they are just center caps! But that is not how I see it! For 1, it is the principal that they didn't have the decency to tell me, they were going to send me on my way had I not noticed and 2, I take pride in the vehicle that I worked my butt off to purchase and keep up my truck is clean and in tip top shape! Moral of the story is if you are getting service done in this location (which is the only one I have ever had problems with), CHECK IT ALL! MAKE SURE THAT YOUR VEHICLE IS IN THE SAME CONDITION THAT YOU LEFT IT IN! THERE IS NO TELLING WHO ELSE HAS GONE THROUGH A SIMILIAR SITUATION!
