I used to take my vehicles to the Firestone in Riverdale Maryland from the 90's up until 2015 when I got tired of their shoddy service. In the 90's the Firestone Mgr. was Parnell Singleton who was on point. Believed in the retail slogan "the customer is always right", took care of his customers because he could count on the repeat business. Sadly, not today. Scheduled an appointment online for an oil change, filter and tire rotation on 10/20/2022 and the day of appointment 10/21/2021, I was told that the appointment had been re-scheduled for 10/25/2021 but they could squeeze me in if I was willing to wait hour and a half, possibly 2 hour. No problem. Car was finished in by 09:30am (I arrived at 8am) and prior to paying my bill, I asked was there a reason why my tires were not rotated. The "young lady" asked how I knew that my tires were not rotated and I told her that from my seat in the store, I could see my vehicle on the lift for the oil change and my tires were not rotated. Sure enough, she checks with the tech and they take my vehicle back in to rotate the tires. The service felt "indifferent" which in turn was why I'm reminded why I do not take my cars there any longer to get serviced. In my prior life in the retail industry, I sold Mr. Singleton a display cabinet for the same Firestone Riverdale location so they could display the many awards and achievements that the store had accomplished in the 90's. Sadly, Mr. Singleton is gone along with the display cabinet and awards.

Do Not Make Your Appointment Online!!!I mad an appointment two weeks in advance to get my A/C serviced. I arrived early as the confirmation Email instructed me to. I get there and was told they will not be able to service me because the "machine" use to service a/c is broken. Ok cool things happen all the time thats out of our control. But the guy lied to my face telling me he called me to let me know on a SUNDAY. I checked my phone there was no missed calls, no Voice mail. Nothing. These is more than one way to contact someone, email maybe? Leave a voicemail!! Something. Poor customer service! Waste of time.

I was pleased with the service and the customer service on 07/20/2021.I did not have an appointment. I called around 8:30 and said they had availability; they took care of the tires and alignment.The only thing that I could suggest is to remind customer to apply for the Firestone Credit card AT The store because I did it online while I was waiting. I could have save the price of one tire. Anyway, I think their customer service exceeded my expectations and they suggest to others clients to call in advance because they can get really busy at mid morning. Still, very patient with women. Thank you! I will recommend to my family and friends.

This place has no respect for your time. I had a 1pm appointment and the car was finally taken inside at 2:40pm. That's an astounding 1 hour and 40 minutes. The bays had 2 cars and the reset was just empty. I will never come back to this place

This location is horrible, my husband and I are visiting from Las Vegas, came here to service our Tahoe before we head back on the highway. My husband made a 12:00pm appointment he walks in to be told it's still a hour to two hour wait just for a oil change, and they can't say people were ahead of us because nobody was working on any cars the whole time we sat there. So what's the point of making an appointment. Nonetheless, We walk in and I notice nobody is working at all, somebody on a cell phone the whole time another guy walking around pretending to be busy I guess. Don't waste your time coming here if you want great customer service and trust the reviews you are reading everyone can't be wrong about one location!! By far the worst location we have been to, to date..

Your car is not safe here.I dropped my car off for service and the manager/technicians left my car unlocked over night and someone stole thousands of dollars worth of stuff from it. The manager never once apologized and acted like it wasn't really that big of a deal once I was on site dealing with the theft.Your isn't safe here and you are better off finding another Firestone in the area. Don't take the chance.

If I could give zero stars I would! Worst customer service ever and if thats how they treat people I hate to see what they are doing to our vehicles!Made an appointment on line for tires....got there 15 minutes early and was told ...can't do your tires today...we can reschedule you for next week. I have work order confirmation for 11? The email said I would be contacted if there was a problem with the time I picked out. No email saying That they couldn't do it only email was to confirm my appointment tires and what my total price for the tires I picked out.....You have lost a customer for ever ...I don't do well with ..we don't give ash!t about you service. To many other places to buy tires,oil changes...etc.

We had a horrible start to our vacation. Got kids in the car for a road trip that started at 4:00 am, but the battery was dead. Arrived at Firestone with a voucher for battery replacement from rental car company. Rental company did not want to cover the price of battery above the national average, and the sales rep. at Firestone (Leonard) was super helpful. Worst customer service ever, they charged me 250 for two "new" tire , a week later my tire was flat from their installation I went back and they told me they were too busy when they only had 2 car with 8 lifts, I had to spend double the money will be going back with my old tires to get my money back

I haven't actually been helped yet. But showing up 14 minutes before close, having just left one of my critical doctors, with everything that's going on and a complete biomechanical inability to address an acutely low tire... I didn't want to have to call roadside assistance. These guys have been nice. They listened, and I was truthfully direct. And I think they're going to take care of me. This is the type of business that's going to survive covid-19. The type of business that puts humans first. I don't even think they realize I probably need a set; but they are going to see me have patience and appreciation for their skill set right now. I'll update this post if I'm disappointed.Update: I wasn't. And, Firestone HR needs to watch this store manager. He is good, in the areas that count to us new customers. Tag him for succession. I'll be back for my to have my SRX maintained.
