Nice little in-town hardware store. They are helpful and friendly. You pay a little more than the big box stores but the convenience is worth it.

Talk about being awesome!! We just moved, and John treated me like an old client when I first walked in. If you buy a few things - nuts and bolts, he will just charge a nominal amount (give me 50 cents and we're good!) -- if you are not sure which component you need, he will loan it and say go try out, then pay me later when you know for sure. I was looking for a hacksaw to cut some cabinet shelves, so he just loaned me his!! He operates on total trust, and the customers seem to return the favor and simply love him!! I'm planning to have my son intern at his shop over summer. He'll learn good customer service and how to be efficient and courteous. I have reviews of other businesses on yelp that are not as courteous... I wish they can see how simply being nice helps someone's business many fold. I strongly believe in the concept of "good will" -- I hope this little business continues to flourish.

Love this place! John and his staff are always very helpful when I'm looking for help to fix something or need advise on yard work. When I was torn on which power washer to buy my friend sent me to John and he helped me decide what to buy as well as let me test it out before making my purchase. I send everyone to Johns and am so happy to see a local business thriving.
