Absolutely disgusting service. This is the second known case where they have installed a battery and left loose connections. Drive on a trip to my car not starting and went to check my battery and you can pull the connector up without tools. How? How is that possible.

My husband went in today after ordering a battery online for store pickup here. When he arrived the lady at the front (who seemed irritated already) stated that they can’t replace the battery unless it’s purchased INSIDE the store. So he asked if he could simply buy another inside the store and return the one he purchased online. She was very rude and reluctantly came outside, took one glance, saw a battery cover, and said they can’t replace the battery. Terrible customer service, worst autozone we’ve ever been to.

car wouldn’t start this morning in the cold — took it here after getting a jump to have the battery tested. Of course they said it was the alternator, and we needed to have it replaced in two weeks or it’s going to ruin our battery and everything else.
We took our car to our long-time, reputable, small business mechanic (shoutout to Lee’s Automotive in Westminster — a little bit of a drive but SO worth it) and wow, what a surprise! *sarcasm* Our alternator is perfectly fine, the battery just needed to be replaced.
Either someone is incompetent at testing batteries, or they purposefully try to push the alternator replacement because it’s so much more expensive.
