Horrible Bank. My daughter's great grandmother opened up a account for me and gives me $400 every month, I originally receive the money around the 15th of every month but around July she switched it to the 7th of every month. Now I don't receive the money on time and put holds on the funds for about a week. Last month my account was in a negative balance they charged me a overdraft fee when the $400 was being processed, BUT, guess what? The money wasn't even in my account!!!! So why are y'all taking money out my account that wasn't even there yet??? Then I didn't get the money until the week after. Now this month her grandmother told me I was supposed to receive the money on the 2nd, I called them the other day and they told me that nothing was processed on their end. So when I told her that she was going to give me the money a different way, but by the time she tried to do something, I checked my account and it said the $400 is processing. BUT YALL JUST TOLD ME YALL HAVING RECEIVED ANYTHING!!!!! So now y'all decided to process it after I called?. So I'm thinking it'll be in my account the next day, because usually it'll be there the next day after it processed, but NOPE! Still not in my account!!!! So now I don't know when it'll be in my account and I've been waiting for it for 2 WEEKS!!!!! Y'all are so quick to take money out of my account when it's not there, but take 30 years to put it in my account. I'm switching to a new bank, I will not be banking here anymore!

**Update**I was contacted by a customer service manager who corrected the issue expeditiously and fixed it going forward. Now, I am cautiously optimistic that I will remain a customer of Industrial Bank for the foreseeable future.06.06.2023: This review can be applied to the Forestville and Oxon Hill locations. I went into each of these locations and requested to update my billing and physical address (2.5 years ago and a little less than 2 years ago, respectively). Now that I have an expired debit card, I am being told that I did not have an address change on my account. Although I used this bank to facilitate the purchase of my new home and made the address change based on the transactions on my account, I am being told that I have to go into "a branch" to get a new debit card(45 minutes drive) or wait an additional 2 weeks for it to be mailed after I submit an address change by mail.This is too much of an inconvenience for me as a customer who does most of my business electronically and who had been jumping through too many hoops to maintain my account with Industrial Bank.I was told that my "new card" (never mind the card that they sent to the incorrect address may have been received by someone who will try to use it to gain access to my funds) cannot be sent to me expedited since it wasn't my fault the information was not updated in time.Therefore, I will be withdrawing all of my funds from Industrial Bank and I will NEVER use them again. In addition, I will ensure that all of my family and friends make a better choice for personal banking.

Online this location is listed to have the drive through open until 6pm! I traveled over an hour to get here from Baltimore and the lady at the window said they closed at 4pm! The inside is listed as closing at 4pm and the drive through at 6pm! This is not okay and poor business! Fix your hours online! This was so inconvenient and upsetting to me! Gas and time wasted!

Jeanette Wilkinson is one of the most rude individuals I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to, electronically or otherwise. I doubt that she has ever held a customer service position of any kind and she seems to have a total lack of concept of time or tact. 100% would never recommend this bank or this awful employee to anyone I know or care about. What an absolutely miserable individual.

have been calling since last Friday and was unsuccessful in reaching the bank staff. It reflects the phone line is busy. However clearly the phone has been taken off the hook.

Great bank! Love seeing black owned institutions handling their business very well. Very professional and helpful unlike many other banks that are not black-owned. My only grievance is that there isn't a branch closer to me lol.

The worst bank ever. You think you're doing right by banking black and they treat their own kind with disrespect. The employees are not knowledgeable of policies and rules. You'd think the supervisors would come correct them yet they come and defend these morons. I don't have them staying open too much longer.

Great, the company has a lot of history, I have family members who have dealt with industrial going back to the 70's awesome!
