Attended my first class at OTF Olney yesterday. Was blown away by how friendly that staff was, how clean the studio is and how much fun the workout was. Highly recommend!

So much better than a regular gym. They have great coaches, it's always clean, and always a good workout. Lots of available classtimes makes it easy to schedule.

I have only been coming for 3 weeks, but I love so many things already and always look forward to going. I love that the workouts are pre-designed, so I don’t have to plan an effective workout for myself. I love having a coach/trainer around to help ensure my form is correct and to reduce the chance of injury. I love the group dynamic to keep me motivated throughout the workout. Lastly, I really love the friendly and welcoming environment at the Olney, MD location. I’m getting exactly what I need at the moment through Orangetheory: efficient, effective and data driven (to help me track progress) workouts and have already recommended to several friends to try it out for themselves.

To say that Orange Theory changed my life is an understatement; I've always had issues with consitancy when it comes to working out, this all changed September 2022 when I had my first class with OTF; I had no idea what I was doing, but coatch Tammy, coatch Allyson, former coatch Brigget are always there to help, support, and guide me; I switched to unlimited membership after 2 weeks only, I do minimum of 3 classes per week; I look forward to each and every class, it's my happy place, I'm byeond greatful I found you OTF.

** Do NOT join **06/21: Per the promotion, I joined as an Elite Member (8 classes per month) for $129.00/monthly, to be billed on the 21st of every month.06/23: Attended my first class at the OrangeTheory in Rockville.07/08: Attended my first class at the OrangeTheory in Park Potomac.09/04 & 10/03: OrangeTheory Charged my credit card on file for the $129.00/monthly membership. I never received correspondence from OrangeTheory as to why the billing date has changed.10/06: Attended my last class at the OrangeTheory in Rockville.10/07: Attended my last class at the OrangeTheory in Park Potomac.11/01: Emailed OrangeTheory, requesting to cancel my membership and requesting directions for the next steps. An OrangeTheory personnel responded and told me that I needed to FWD the email to their manager and that the manager would take care of it for me. I FWD the email over to the manager.11/04: OrangeTheory Charged my credit card on file for the $129.00/monthly membership. Contacted my credit card and informed them that I had sent an email to OrangeTheory, requesting the cancellation. Thought that they had billed me accidentally. My credit card company provided me with the credit back to my account.11/23: Received a phone call from OrangeTheory. The personnel stated that she was calling because she noticed that I haven’t taken a class for three (3) weeks, and she wanted to know if she could book a class for me. I informed her that I was at the airport, on my way out of the country, and that I was confused since I’d sent an email requesting to cancel my membership.11/27: Still out of the country, I received an email from Cassandra Lansing, the studio manager at the OrangeTheory in Rockville. She informed me that they did not have any records of my cancellation form and that if I was unable to provide the cancellation form, then they needed to chargeback to be paid. I informed her of my situation (I’m planning on splitting my time between the states and Europe and that I wouldn’t be able to utilize my membership). I never heard back from anyone after I'd FWD the email to the studio manager.11/30: Cassandra informed me that they needed a thirty (30) day notice and that a cancellation form needed to be signed and sent to their studio in Rockville. She reiterated that they where never aware of the cancellation and I needed to pay $129.00; otherwise, they will not provide the cancellation form for me to fill out and complete. If they don’t receive a cancellation form, then they will consider my account active and they will continue to bill me. I wanted the cancellation form first to review prior to remitting any payment. OrangeTheory refused to provide the forms unless I pay the $129.00 first.12/04: OrangeTheory charged my credit card on file for the $129.00/monthly membership. They changed their name from "OrangeTheory Rockville" to “OTF Rockville” in order to run the unauthorized charged. This was disputed.12/13: Received an email from OrangeTheory thanking me for my “recent in-studio charge.” The charge is in the amount of $139.00, to be charged on 01/04/23. I never authorized nor did I agree to this.12/14: Received a letter from Kinum informing me that they’re a debt collection company and that they’re trying to collect a debt for $129.00 owed to OrangeTheory. The letter was dated 12/05/2022.The interaction felt like they were trying to extort me for money first before they would release the form to me. Similar to other former members, I've filed a report against this OrangeTheory to the Consumer Protection Division, Federal Trade Commission, Maryland Attorney General, and Better Business Bureau.According to another former member, this OrangeTheory and the location in Rockville are under the same management.

I was a member for 3 months then had to travel for work for 8 weeks. I canceled membership instore. The store worker said someone from management would reach out via email to confirm. 7 Days later I finally received an email from Maria Nolan that they would freeze my account (for $15/mo) and I could choose to reactivate or cancel when I got back. In this exchanges they failed to advise me what the terms of a "freeze" are and that they still needed another 30 day notice even with my account in freeze to cancel my membership. Non of this is stated in the contract... Meaning when they put me in a "freeze" it legally would make my contract null & void. Either way, I asked to cancel before the end of my freeze and didn't hear back till 9 days later and required several follow-up emails from me. 3 days after this communication I was charged for a full month of service. From there I had some disheartening email exchanges with the associate manager, Maria Nolan, where I disputed the charges and they kept trying to fall back to their "contract terms". I tried escalating to store the manager, Seth Allen, who refused to call me back after several calls and voicemails. The only response I got back was an email simply stating I still owed the charges per contract terms.. No discussion, no hint of customer service. Ultimately, they ended up sending me to collections over a $129 charge... COLLECTIONS FOR $129. Talk about ruining someone's credit over your crappy customer service. Fortunately, I know how to navigate the credit space and it is a null issue on my end but I worry for other customers and the type of predatory practice they use at this store. The Orange Theory Brand should be ashamed letting operators like Seth Allen treat customers like this. As an avid boutique fitness person, it is a shame to say I will never be returning to any Orange Theory again.

Front office terrible. Lied to me about putting my account on pause vs cancelling and the associated charges. What they did broke the contract but still stated that I owed them for cancelling. Tried to contact the manager for weeks, never could get him to call me back and then they proceeded to send me to collections...One of the worst predatory experiences I've had.. Shame as the instructors are great
