Incompetent staff & doctors. Unable to answer simple question about coverage until after the exam. Only highlight of the experience was the sales person at the end even if I wasn’t planning on buying glasses.

Writing for my daughter. All went well with the appointment and the exam. She was told her lenses were in and she dropped off the frames at 11:00. They were going to be ready between 4-5. She called and was told they were ready. When she arrived, no one could find the glasses. After a long wait they were found in the tech room. Nothing had been done. The tech had not come to work that day. No one called her. No apologies. The woman at the desk was completely indifferent. These glasses are essential for her work and the woman didn't offer to return them. No explanation about when a tech might be available to fit the lenses. Nothing at all. Wow! The one star is for the worst customer service ever.

My experience with MyEyeDR is HORRIBLE. If you had good experience with this location, I am happy for you. First, we booked the appointment on the phone and when we showed up, there was no appointment scheduled for our son. Second, we then scheduled another appointment the following week for a 1230 appointment, And as soon as my son got out of class today, we took him to the appointment. We were 10 mins late; and they would not take our son. Yes, we were late. However, there was no prior communication that stating if you are late, we'll reschedule you. Third, for a 10-year old to say "mom, this place is horrible and the receptionist is very rude with poor manner'. I am out ya'll. I do hope the owner (s) would take into consideration to see/read our comments and perhaps to take the time to fully train your staff to maximize customer service. Take care!

My daughter was planning to come home from college for a few days and mentioned needing to go to the eye doctor to possibly update her glasses. We chose here because it fit when she would be home. She came home from her appointment and told me that I should've gone with her. She said the staff kept trying to up sell her on things they said she need, pictures and tests. She has a very basic prescription. I went to an Ophthalmologist a weeks ago with a difficult prescription and none of that happened to me. When the Doctor started to do the exam the tool he was using kept fogging up, he yelled at her! He did eventually apologize, but really. How is it her fault that she was wearing a mask and it caused fog. Don't you think by now they would have a plan in place to fix it. Next came updating her lenses. When she told them she wanted to keep her frames they started feeding her lines about why she needed new frames, even after she told them the frames were only 9 months old. She finally took her stuff and left. Last time we will ever go there.

I purchased my first pair of glasses from this store and was extremely impressed with their customer service. That was nearly two years ago, and today when I needed their help getting my prescription their associate Tony was ON POINT! Nice to see this type of customer service in this day and age.

Bait and switch in their billing practices. Staff will provide service and invoice you for $0 out of pocket, knowing that insurance will reject the claim for ineligible services and then you'll be on the hook for payment. My wife and I have a well known insurance provider for Montgomery County Public Schools and MyEyeDr should know better. They've covered themselves because patients must sign an agreement to cover costs that insurance companies reject. Easy $$$ in MyEyeDr's pockets.

I have had the worse experience with this location. I was sent the wrong amount of contacts. They sent me 1 year supply for my left eye and 6 months for my right. I then called to speak with someone regarding my contacts. The young man had an attitude due to the fact that I was asking why my order was incorrect when previously before paying I had even asked the person if they were sure that was the total because in past years I’ve paid much more. I was then told a manager would get back with me regarding my order. A month passed no call. I finally called them back. Attitude from everyone that was on the phone including the manager. No apology no sympathy. Finally I just asked for my prescription so I can order from elsewhere.

I definitely won't be going back to this one. I've scheduled appointments 3 times online and over the phone, and each time I go into the store, there's no record of my appointment. The staff are completely incompetent.

Love their team ! I have got to speak with 4 of them in 2 days. They care about the service, Gia, Thomas, Anthony were amazing. They explained my insurance benefits for glasses, assisted me with the pros and cons of each frames I picked for my high rx number . I placed my order and now eagerly waiting for it. I will put another review later after I get my glasses . Way to go !!!

I would love to give them a review but was turned away for being 10 mins late. During these Covid times, I am juggling childcare and work and trying to rush to the only available appt in traffic. I explained my situation and they were not willing to work with me. I have also been a customer there for going on 4 years. Never again.
