I was strolling through the store and a staff member asked me if they could me find something. I told them I was looking for readers. The pleasantly said "oh yes, follow me". Once there I was able to find the pair I wanted. Such a quick and happy visit!

They are absolutely terrible. Every time I've gone there, there's a line of cars. You'll sit in line for 40 minutes or longer. I just had major oral surgery done that requires a mouthwash that numbs for pain. I've been in need of it for 3 days. I dropped it off Tuesday. They told me to come back in the morning. Wednesday came and they still didn't have it. No call. Nobody checked in with me. I called them back on Friday after still not hearing back from them and they told me that I had to promise to pay for it and come pick it up because they have to make it on the spot and that it has a shelf life. I told them of course I was going to pay for it. That's why I've called and dropped the prescription off. They told me it would be ready by 4: 00pm, today. I went and sat in line for an hour. At 4:40 when I got up to the window I was told that it had still not been made because it cost them money to make it and it has a shelf life. I was told to circle back around and wait in line and the pharmacist would NOW make it. I told them to forget it and left. Absolutely unbelievable. No respect for other people's time or needs. When I tried to pick it up on Monday, I was told that CVS is no longer allowed to mix their own serums and that I needed to go back to my dentist and ask for a prescription for liquid lidocaine. Then I could combine it with over-the-counter medicines to create my own magic mouthwash. Why couldn't they tell me this a week ago?

The pharmacy was very unprofessional and disrespectful. Did not know how to solve a simple problem.

the worst CVS, charanjeet I believe was her name, tried to say I’ve never filled a script that I’ve picked up every month at the Glenmont CVS for 4 years. The prescription retails for $31 & my insurance covers it anyway, even when I did pay before it was only $19.99. Yet I arrive to the pharmacy and am told I have to pay $92 because my insurance doesn’t cover it. She proceeds to say she can see if I’ve filled a script before and that it is my first time, well it’s not, I’ve picked up this prescription by now 48 times. I don’t like to raise my voice but I had to because you can’t tell your head pharmacist I’ve never had this filled when I know I have, to which the head pharmacist responded back to me “ma’am can you let us communicate”, when she’s communicating the wrong info no I’m sorry I can’t. Eventually she said it’ll be ready, I go to pick it up and it’s covered, but I see in fact the retail value is $30.99. They obviously filled the wrong medication yet didn’t apologize, and attempted to say my insurance did not cover it nor had I put my insurance in the system. 0 stars if I could give, the woman ahead of me in line was in because they sold her the entirely wrong medication as well. Avoid if you can.

Slow pharmacy, and they don’t care about their people. Don’t waste your time here.

The Olney CVS minute clinic is an abomination! Went in to get my ears cleaned out and the woman starts spraying but she shoves the hard plastic edge up my ear making it even worse. Terrible bedside manner. Recommended I continue taking debrox instead and it ended up giving me infections in both ears. Have been waking up the past couple days in the middle of the night because of how painful it is. What terrible advice to give as a medical health professional, shame on you! Go to urgent care instead, it might be more expensive but the Minute Clinic practitioner at the Olney CVS is not worth your time. She made my symptoms way worse and I’m hoping I get a refund.

Once again, the pain medication that I was prescribed since Thursday (5 days ago) is out of stock. Been there 4 times, and every time a different excuse from techs. Today I asked to speak to pharmacist. “Pharmacist said nobody dies from pain”. Pharmacist said, “don’t waste my time asking me questions. If there’s no medication, there’s no medication.”Even my local doctor has told me never to go to CVS in Olney.

This store is always slow. The majority of the staff have a terrible attitude. I get it. Retail sucks.Today, I attempted to pick up a prescription for insulin, a literal life sustaining medication. At first I was told by two separate employees that it wasn’t covered by insurance. I called my insurance company to verify, this was untrue. I returned to speak with a tech and then the story changed to the medication being out of stock. When I explained that I am still insulin dependent and need my medication I was told there’s a shortage, given a shrug and told to come back in 3 days. I asked to be transferred to another pharmacy and was told just wait because Monday is coming. This response is unacceptable. I asked 3 times until I said okay so when I have to go to a hospital, should I sue CVS. And magically they found it at another location. Train your employees to handle customer concerns especially around medication that is life and death.

By far the worst cvs/business I’ve ever been too. Lady in front of me said she was on hold for an hour and was hung up on. Manager told her not his problem.

This may be the most understaffed pharmacy in the state. Almost always a long line, scripts unprocessed or late despite physicians sending them over. I go out of my way to a cvs with shorter hours 15 minutes away now because I'll still get my medicine quicker.

Had a terrible experience today. I was prescribed medication for an infection and was in a lot of pain. The line was extremely long and when I finally got to the front I was told it would be another hour because they were so busy. I literally begged the lady if she could at least get one of my prescriptions filled for the pain and she went to the South Asian pharmacist to ask and that lady just shook her head no. The lady once again told me there was nothing I could do and that it would be ready in an hour. We came came back in an hour and the line was massive and there wasn’t any Pharmacists in the back and only one person at the register. If we would have waited in line it could have taken another hour or longer depending on when more staff would even come. I was almost in tears. Ended up transferring my prescription to another CVS within 10 min and they had my prescription ready within 15 minutes. The CVS Olney cannot manage the amount of prescriptions that are filled and need to hire more Pharmacists or techs. Other prescriptions of mine have also been delayed in the past but this one takes the cake due to the urgency that I needed this medication. I’m permanently switching over to the other CVS. If you have medications you need to take urgently and aren’t willing to wait hours for a prescription, don’t come here.

I was waiting to pick up prescription so went browsing through store. Some how I losty entire set of keys. Man pharmacist stopped what he was doing to come out and help look for keys. I was very anxious as key ring had everything on it.I truly did appreciate his consideration of the situation as he took valuable time from filling prescriptions to help.

My friend was physical assault by a woman a few moments ago. She was shopping with her baby when this woman started yelling at her inside the store, following and harassing her all the way to her car. NOBODY at the store help her out or called the police. No security, nothing. I feel disgusted for the employees that didn’t help a girl with her baby. It was a clear example of racism. Be aware of shopping here. I will attach the picture of the car of the woman who attacked her.

Worst Pharmacy based on every metric. Calling them involves a minimum wait of an hour, if you are lucky to be deemed worthy by one of the staff members. I left a prescription at 10am and was told it would be ready by 5pm. I called twice to confirm, both times waited for an hour and did not get a hold of anyone. When I got there, they told me they hadn't even started preparing my medication. Had to wait another hour. A mother in need of assistance was pleading next to me for the medication to her son's asthma. She had been waiting all day as well. Even if they were busy and understaffed, there are no words to encapsulate the mediocrity of the customer service.

It's 11:51 pm and I've been waiting 20 mins for someone to answer the phone. You can never, ever get someone on the phone in less than 15 minutes. And the pharmacists are rude and do not know policies. Run from this place. The convenience of the occasionally open drive through does not make it worth it.
