My experience at TJ Maxx was great. The store was clean, and the layout was really nice, making it easy to browse. I found some fantastic items for my daughter. Overall, a very pleasant shopping trip!

Its typical TJ Maxx with nice selection of random stuff. But ladies in the fitting room, needs a training for customer service and dont treat their customer like pathetic. It ruins the experience shopping here.
I came in the fitting room only for the lady to scold me for the 2 shirts having no hangers. She kept going with it saying "dont remove the hanger... we dont do that around here... next time bring the hanger blah blah" while I stand there like a kid waiting for that card so I can fit and leave. Simple! If you hate the job so much and you take your frustrations over 2 hangers to the customers, time to get a new one!

Nice selection of juniors clothing but the woman minding the dressing room could have been more customer friendly. She chased me down the hall when I was swapping out a size for my daughter and loudly told me that I couldn't do that, and that I needed to bring everything out of the room. I explained to her that I had already brought it out, I had actually put it on the rack that she was sorting, she'd seen me do it, but I went a long with it and asked her what she wanted me to do - did she want me to bring my daughter out of the dressing room and walk the clothes up there so she could look at them? (We only had two items that we had swapped out for a different size) Her reply was, "we don't do it that way in the summer." Then she threw her hands up in the air as if she were annoyed with me and told me "just keep doing what you're doing." I don't think I was doing anything wrong, she had given me a number 2 for the door and I was sticking to two items at a time. The dressing rooms were mostly empty and she didn't bother to stop anyone else as they walked passed her with far more items then I had. So we bought the two things we liked and got out of there...she made us feel unwelcome. I've been in numerous Maxx stores all over the DMV area and never had this issue. Isn't the point of the dressing room to find the size that fits you best?

Unlike my TJMax in Columbia, this one never seems to have what I'm looking for, and they've closed off one access point to inside the store. I understand why, but it still makes it more difficult to do business with. But, since Rose's closed ?, it's the only other option for some things.

This is a given for any tjmaxx, but if you are not society’s standard of skinny, do not shop for clothes here. Largest size for most male items was a large or an occasional XL

Thank goodness that they have stores like this down there now. I remember in the 90's feeling lost with only beach shops.

I love this TJ Maxx @ the Gold Coast shopping center in Ocean City Maryland. The selection was great and I got so many fantastic buys.
I will be back in June!!!
