Scamming place that posts prices and then tells you your stuff is actually triple times the posted cost because it’s “just a sign.” Bad quality souvenirs and awful owners. Would go anywhere else.

I’d give no stars if that was an option. This place is so ridiculously bad.Was looking to purchase a plain tie dye long sleeve tshirt but the sales associate told me it would be $45. Even with the sign stating “nothing over $5.99” I was prepared to spend $15-$20 for a shirt. However, $45 for one shirt (glidan brand) was absolutely absurd. I questioned it and the lame excuse given was that I needed to put a decal on it which made no sense. Less money for the shirt if I put a decal on it?! The sales associate said they’d ask the manager, literally took a lap around not talking to anyone and came back to tell me $45 was the lowest they’d sell. I left snd they followed me out going down $5 until it got to $30 but I kept walking. Not interested in this scam of a place.

Terrible people working here! Taking advantage of teens and changing prices at checkout for more money. Based on other comments, it's not just teens, but my teens both experienced this at different times, same store. Disgusting!

I was here last night and bought pants I asked how much they were because nothing in there had tag and they said $24 I thought that was a lot for short shorts so I asked for how about $11 because that's as high as I was going to go they said yes the next day I was walking bye and saw a sign that said NOTHING UNDER 5.99 so that means they tried to get me to pay four times the amount that the pants were.

Store is a SCAM! Don't pay for Anything especially clothing or anything with decals, the pricing signs are FALSE ADVERTISEMENT, Ask about how much your items will cost before ANY Payment, you will Not get a refund, And don't break anything, they will make you pay for it. DON'T SHOP AT ANY OF THESE STORES UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO BURN.

Place near 2nd street should be shut down and fines!! They sell vapes and cbd including delta 8 to 11 and 12 yr olds!!! When confronted they they fired the employees...but they were right there in the store. Then got argumentative and asked us to leave

Stay away from this place,I got 3 t shirts for $70.The sign says $5 but you have to pay for the stamps.And they don't give a refund. Very disappointing.

BEWARE OF SCAM!!!This chain store of "COOL TOPICS" on the boardwalk of Ocean City Maryland is all about FRAUDLENT AND SCAM!As you can see on all the signs: "Nothing over than $5," it is A BIG LIE!Nothing in this chain stores is $5, literally!!!! Whatever you buy, they come with excuses of why it cost more than $5.I wanted to purchase 6 long sleeve hoodies and 2 short beach pants just to find out that I need to pay over than $160. In addition, they dont refund unsatisfied customers for defective products or cancellation. The way this business is operating is outrageous, it's nothing but SCAM. I don't need to say I left on the counter everything that I wanted buy.Ironically, there are so many "Cool Topics" stores in the boardwalk of Ocean City, MD, which means this owner is successful of SCAMMING people. Too bad I didn't read the reviews here, first.BEWARE OF SCAM!!!

My kids picked each one sweatshirt, They put price sign "nothing over $5", but they charged $25.44 for two. I asked receipt and they gave me wrong one.

I went shopping here with my kids, they only bought 2 t-shirts each. You know not that expensive right? Well, no when I went to the check out they said it was 50$ but it says they are 5$ each. And wonder why there's no refunds? Cause they are scamming you. Please never shop here.
