“The vet tech Sam and Dr. Shessel were so great!My baby is a little chonk who has had some teeth issues in the past. I decided to switch his vet because this one has glowing reviews and is a lot more convenient of a location now. The staff were all very caring and nice, and Severus did very well with them. He's always been pretty good with vets, but he got very scared after he had to get a dental last year. Dr. Shessel was so calm and gentle with him. He growled a bit, but ended up eating some sweet treats she left for him (after she left, haha).Cost wise: It's slightly higher because it's on the metro, but it definitely felt worth it. I've never had a vet spend so much time in the room with my animal and be genuinely interested, not just going through the routine exam.Looking forward to future visits!Picture of my guy for tax. ?⬛”

“Animal Place has been amazing. Nobody likes spending a grand on multiple vet services. It’s necessary sometimes. Our Pittie who was suffering from pancreatitis came was seen by the friendly staff. Again, you’re stressed as hell but the doc and staff made this a solid experience. Not every experience has a happy ending. This crew will be taking over primary vet care from here on out for all our animals.”

“Was looking for a new Vet and couldn’t be happier than the service I got at Marymont. After the pandemic it was hard to get a new Vet as many clinics weren’t accepting new clients. That was not the case with Marymont. Brought my Pomeranian in for yearly shots and boosters and was pleasantly surprised by the prices. Highly recommend!!”
“AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I took my cat Bella to visit them for a sanitary trim and her nails clipped. We were in and out of there in less than 10 minutes! She was a little scared but they handled her with so much care and I liked that I was able to be in the room. They were great and reasonably priced, way better experience than I expected! When we got home, I could tell she was so happy and felt so much better from the condition she was in before her appointment. Will definitely be taking her to only Lynn's Animal Hospital in the future! Thank you again for everything.”

“When Dr Teich decided to start his own practice - me and my little ones followed! My experience over the years has been terrific. I never feel rushed - the vets take time to really understand what is happening with your pets. Not just what brings you in but how & what they are doing generally. The front desk staff are also just as great - helpful and accommodating.The locations make getting an appt. pretty easy. Whether I need to see Dr. Teich specifically or another vet - I will typically get the day and time I need. This is a super busy practice, for a good reason, so I appreciate this.”
“I was very disappointed about their new policy not to send prescriptions to third party providers like pet meds. They now require that you physically pick up an rx at their office. This means that you must mail it to petmeds-they are not allowed to receive it by fax or email, except from the vet. This is a way to make you buy it from vca, always at a much higher price. A vet must still write the rx,but vca says it took too much time for them to send it to petmeds. Seems like a small matter that greatly burdens paying clients. Jack Cohen”

“Family Pet Vet is the absolute best. Dr. Wehrli is so compassionate and authentic. And, not only is Dr. Wehrli the best, but his staff is my absolute favorite. In particular Beatriz and Cai! They have so much love for all the animals. They are so kind and helpful. We had a really serious surgery with our older dog and they were so helpful in walking me through everything and getting him out and into the car to help me. When our dog ended up passing they were so compassionate. We now have a new puppy and they are just as loving. I feel like they are a truly family vet practice.”

“For over a year they dealt with me and my chronically sick cat. They dealt with the calls asking if they had any cancellations so I could take her in. They always showed so much professionalism and care. Everyone there truly left a mark on me and my cat, through all her sass and attitude they knew she was just in pain. Danielle specifically helped me through it all, she didn’t just care for my cat, she cared for me as well. I currently foster and have to go to rescue partnered veterinarians and have realized how knowledgeable and professional this practice is compared to others. If I adopt again, I will be coming here. “We came to Oakcrest for my two cats’ dental cleaning. The staff members were so warm and friendly, and went out of their way to help answer questions over the phone, locate former medical records and handle the cats with the utmost care. Dr. Tibbs was very caring and kind while examining the cats and was thorough and attentive about providing advice about their care. The dental cleaning itself was significantly affordable compared to other vets in the DMV area, and the results were “purrfect” (My cats even came back with groomed paw pads which was adorable). Overall, I felt that my cats were cared for with kindness and professionalism, and I am so glad to have found the Oakcrest staff. I look forward to their future care.”

They reach out after surgery mean while other vets for got to reach out after a simple test. Only Con is the parking situation.”

“Good vet, reasonable prices, but watch out because they consistently have no sense of efficient scheduling of services, example- they will skip a heartworm test at the annual visit if it's not "due" for another few months, then force you to come all the way back for a tech appointment to do the test, else they won't update your prescription. They also don't put in any effort to sync annual vaccines so that you're not making extra trips and paying for extra appointments. You'll have to go out of your way to catch their lack of efficiency/math skills.”

“Hyattsville animal hospital is incredible!The building may look a little old (don't let the looks fool you) but the care we've gotten from them for years has been since and beyond.Their prices are so much more affordable and everybody there genuinely cares so much for your pet.We started going there when we looked for a second opinion on our dog needing acl surgery and it turned out he was fine and we loved them so much better and have never left.Great places like this need our support, give them a shot you won't regret it!”
