Really professional and easy process. Kept me in the loop while my 5lb dog was spayed, which helped ease my anxiety. I dropped her off at 7:30am and was out the door with her by noon. They provide really clear and attentive post-op instructions, and she’s healed really nicely since the operation.
I was able to get an appointment within two weeks, and was happy with the price after being quoted $1200+ in NoVa. Great experience all around and would recommend to others.

We have always used ABC for Rex and Sasha. They have always done a GREAT job caring for our dogs and their prices are the best in town. Always respond to messages and are better than most high priced private veterinarian clinics.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. We rescued Roxy after being told she was fixed. To our surprise, she wasn't. We were a little stressed since we had a male dog who wasn't fixed. The majority of the vets I called said her surgery would be upwards of $1,400. Other vets had a waitlist out to next year. A friend had recommended ABC. I was able to get a spay surgery in a week and wasn't charged an arm and a leg. The drop-off was 7am. They called me at 930 to let me know Roxy was out of surgery and doing well. They called me again around 11 to let me know she was ready to come home. Every single staff member I met was so compassionate and loving to Roxy. Seriously, from start to finish, what a great experience.

What an incredible experience from start to finish! Got my female dog in to be spayed within 2 weeks of requesting an appointment & they made the intake process extremely easy! Pick up was a breeze. Dog is healthy and happy!

Requested an appointment, and they were fast to respond. Everything was fast even when dropping off my cat. I been trying other places, but apparently I had to wait for months to have an appointment and the price was $500. As a mom of 4 cats I’m grateful for Animal Birth Control to make it affordable for all of us. Thank you!

The owner is knowing preforming procedures on our loved ones without the proper up-to-date medical equipment, I payed to have my cat fixed here well I got her back with 15 stitches in her carrier that was soaked in urine and poop because they let her sit from the drop off time at 8am until they wanted to do the surgery after 12 I didn't get her back until 2 that day! I EVEN ASKED IF I COULD BRING HER AN HOUR BEFORE THEY START SO SHE WOULDNT BE SCARED BUT THEY TOLD ME NO, And if I knew then that she would have been kept in her little cage at the time until her surgery and if I'd had know there equipment was out of date I wouldn't have ever came here, Zero stars because the vet tried to bribe me with a 500 check that doesn't even cover all the new vet fees..
PLEASE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID PAY THE EXTRA CASH PLEASE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE?

Sign up process was super easy, everything done by text message. Intake was quick, they have a process in place and it worked very efficiently when I used their service. My cat was dropped off at 8 and home by noon, everything was explained in great detail, I was very satisfied with the service provided.

Professional, clean, overall good experience. A little pricey compared to other clinics but you are buying a quality experience for your pet, I say it is worth it.

The staff was very friendly. I brought my Sidney here to be spayed, we had to reschedule at least 4 different times so I thank the staff for putting up with us for that lol
They let me put a card on file so when my mother in law picked her up (as I’d be at work and so would my husband) she didn’t have to worry about paying.
Although I was worried about how we would get a call from 10am - 12pm depending on how fast she woke up; at 12 my mother in law had to call as we were all worried but apparently they were just about to call us!
It’s been about 3-4 weeks now and she’s fully healed and has the smallest of scars. They also trimmed her nails while she was back there!
I’d definitely say the hardest part was keeping her incision dry from the rainy weather we had afterwards ??

Katy’s incision looks so small and professionally done. She was very calm and at ease with the team. Her discomfort has been very minimal as she recovers. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for place to spay your pup.Note to those 1 star reviewers… please do not expect to be handed a glass of champagne on arrival. This is not the Ritz, and if you want affordable care for your dog this comes with a minimal, practical office space. It smells clean, but also shockingly… like dogs and cats. Please manage your expectations, I found their services to be excellent.

Got my rats neutered here 2 years ago and had a great experience. Felt very safe leaving my rats with them and both rats came back a bit loopy, but in good health.

WOW I’m currently disabled and it’s hard for me to walk. I’m on a walker, so after my previous veterinarian is in the Middle of changing offices, I was recommended to this place for my animals to get spayed from a friend of mine. The staff at this facility are very sweet and friendly and animal people, cat people and dog people they both. Everything went perfect from drop off to the pick up till even them giving us an update she’s our baby girl Salem, so it was hard for us when we picked her up We knew she was in great hands. We were able to meet the veterinarian she was a sweetheart.. Also, I got my cat microchip what is very great cause they already set it up with an Anne Arundel county animal control. I’m gonna continue to go to this veterinarian for all my shots and anything else 10 stars if I could, I was recommended them and I highly recommend them to you. as far as me being disabled, they were very friendly even brought the paperwork out to the car for me to fill out and open the door for me to leave so I brought my wife with me, but I really didn’t need to because the staff was very disable friendly I read a bad review below I believe the other comment below is confused with a different location because it can’t be this place this place is absolutely amazing thank you
