After buying a new home this fall, my wife and I were worried we wouldn't be able to find a rug that looked right in our family room. The owner, Jamey, really took his time with us and was very patient and we absolutely love the rug he helped us pick. The store had so much to choose from and we will definitely be going back.

I found Levinson Rugs & Home on Yelp. I trust Yelpers and was looking for a good place to clean an area rug. I carried the rug in and had to wait awhile to be acknowledged so that wasn't a good start. The store looked to be a beautiful showroom with tons of beautiful rugs on display. A guy finally came over and offered to measure the rug for me. While he was doing that the manager approached so I explained that I needed the rug cleaned, but wanted an estimate because if the cost of cleaning was more than the value of the rug, I wouldn't have it cleaned. He totaled the cost according to the measurements and quoted me a number. I responded that I would just wait since the rug was less expensive than the cost to clean it. He then turned away from me, said, "Roll it up for her" to the worker and walked away. I yelled a thank you at him even though he was so rude. I think now even if I need a rug cleaned in the future, I will go somewhere else.

I recently worked with Jamey and Tricia to help a client select rugs for their new condo. They were extremely knowledgeable about antique rugs and worked with me to coordinate fabrics as well and the client enjoyed his time there. Great experience!

Levinson is housed in a lovely showroom in Timonium (at this writing, across from the Fairgrounds behind the Starbucks) where they offer a vast, in-stock selection shown by a knowledgeable staff who want to ensure your shopping experience is a fun one (Tricia, Gino and Reese were wonderful!). If you can't find something in the stacks and stacks of rugs on hand, they have loads of samples offered for custom order. I found a fantastic rug at a deeply discounted price and took it home. Sadly it didn't work in the space so I returned it within their stated time frame. The return was quick and simple, no questions asked. They truly want happy customers and I am one. These are high end, investment quality rugs, folks so if you are budget-minded best to go up the road to Home Depot or Target (you do get what you pay for). However, if you want and are able to afford a rug that will last your lifetime, I can't recommend Levinson Rugs & Home more enthusiastically.

Vast selection, reasonable prices, and awesome service! Definitely recommend for super quality floor covering. Also some home decor items available, snazzy pillows, vintage toys, side tables and planters, really unique stuff.
