The one woman who controls the store and the other workers is Johanan/ Yohanan (sp?). Though there is a white older gentleman who is supposed to be the manager, he lets her run the place, and does as she orders. She runs the place like it belongs to her. This has been going on for a long time. I know because the store is one of my favorites and I find it an interesting place to shop. Recently with the change is reward points etc. I had a discount, which I did not expect, showing up on the computer payment screen. The woman Johanan/Yohanan tells me she will not give me the discount because I had used a scratch card (the store had given us) on a previous purchase, billed and paid for separately. I had had enough of her running the place like she owns it and I told her so. When I asked her how she, as another employee just makes up rules as she pleases, she immediately blamed Thriftys and told me it was their rule, which I knew was a lie. I told her I will complain to the HQ of the company. She told me undeterred that the best person to complain to, was "her manager" - the white gentleman she controls.

I was visiting my sister in Pasadena and we hit the thrift stores. Some thrift stores are so loaded with rules and product selection you can't find interesting stuff that I like. Nearly giving up we decided to visit your shop and I walked away with good electronic gems. I will be visiting again

Worth an updated review because I've grown to enjoy this thrift shop much more than I originally anticipated... It's rare that I leave without purchasing anything. A lot of their items are up to date, which can be uncommon at thrift shops. They have a variety of items, even though the store is just one level and isn't extremely large. I bought a lightly used white desk, gold mirrors and plenty of clothes from this location. If you're big on trying things on first before buying, I definitely recommend dressing comfortably so you can try on clothes outside of a dressing room; there's only one dressing room and the wait for the room can be long.

This store is terrible compared to other stores. Overpriced on merchandise. I have never walk d into a thrift store and saw a couch for $200, that was stained completely in the arms, and it was just a standard couch. You can go to Bobs furniture dented section and get a way better deal. Avoid

I really want to love this place, but, after going a few times, I just can't. It's very much a typical thrift store. If I'm in the area and up for a lot of digging, I might come back. My biggest gripe is that there seems to be zero organizational pattern. When I was looking at dresses, they weren't sorted by size or color. The other racks seemed semi-sorted by size, but I couldn't be sure as a lot of random sizes were mixed in. Today, after an hour and a half of searching, I did manage to find a cute vintage dress for $5, and two nice tops, one for $5 (perhaps because it is Ann Taylor) and another for $4. The housewares section was underwhelming; I didn't find anything. It was nice to have a dressing room, but there's only one, and many customers seem to abuse the 3 item limit. It can be a bit of a wait to try stuff on when they're busy.

Not a bad place to thrift. Prices are reasonable and they are fairly organized. Sometimes checking out can take a while if the store is busy.

Always good finds here! There's a 14-day return policy with receipt, without receipt gets you store credit, unheard of for a thrift shop! A loyalty program for serial thrifters like myself and always plenty of interesting/unique selection of home goods and shoes upon shoes. Love it here!

First time there, I walk out with Jackets that I only dream of finding in thrift stores. Sure there are a lot things on the ground, but there is enough on racks to make any arms tired. Not too overly priced, I just wish that they would have better signs out as to what things are. Friendly, Bilingual staff. Lots of stuff on half off. Got a discount card to come back and use later. I am really looking forward to coming back at a later date. They are associated with other thrift stores in other parts of the country.

Great sales. The best is the all the clothing are hanging up by sizes and they include a tag with the sizes and prices so you can see it clearly. Everyone is great and helpful! You hike check out their website.
