5110 Nicholson Ln, Kensington“I am giving this place 5 stars mostly on the fact that they figured out online food shopping. They did it efficiently and accurately . The competition , let's just them 'A Fresh store' is clueless, none of the stuff on their site is ever in stock, and they don't know how to deliver. Anyway many thanks to Safeway, will continue to be a loyal customer.”

11508 Schuylkill Rd, Rockville“☀️Fantastic Fusion ofBalkan/Turkish/Mediterranean Cuisine Experience!I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mezehub, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The owner's warm hospitality created a welcoming atmosphere, making me feel right at home. The cleanliness and neatness of the place were commendable, adding to the overall positive impression. Now, onto the food – it was nothing short of spectacular! I indulged in the lahmajun, which was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The pide was equally delicious, with its flavorful toppings and crispy crust. To top it off, the Turkish coffee was rich and aromatic, a perfect way to end the meal.Overall, I can't recommend Mezehub enough. If you're looking for authentic Balkan/Turkish/Mediterranean cuisine served with a smile, this is the place to be. Five stars all around!”
“This might hav been the BEST & Freshest Turkey sub I've ever had.. Sandwich tasted like it was made with "Love".. We need more stores like this that actually care for the Neighborhood & have its residents needs in mind...!!!”
“Great filipino food Fast and conveniently located. Highly recommend for folks looking for filipino comfort food. Only wished they'd properly make and offer pancit palahbok. Other than that still highly recommend”
“A new favorite! It's a cute little store run by a really nice couple. The sushi was great and there's a surprisingly large selection for such a small store. It's all Japanese groceries and snacks.”
“Sure, you can go here and buy innovative and cheap stuff and fight the Jews in aisles for Chinese food to make on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve since they're afraid to go out this year to the normal Chinese restaurant where they will haggle over the price and leave a tip. I love Trader Joe's just when it's not busy with uptight people in your face.”

11315 Fern St, Wheaton-Glenmont“Wonderful store that has all of your Asian grocery needs, even niche items like galangal. The owner is so kind and helpful and the interior is beautifully organized as well. I love this place and will be coming here often from now on!”

225 7th St SE, Washington“This place is amazing. Not only are the prices for specialty cheese fairly competitive but if there’s something they don’t have that you want they’ll order it for you, plus they let you try anything before you buy so there’s no buyers remorse!”
“Love this gem. We found products that we have been searching the DMV area for that we have wanted since we moved from the Midwest. The people are friendly and helpful.”
11AM - 7PM
4923 St Elmo Ave, Bethesda“Well stocked local shop with a huge variety of pantry staples, spices, fresh and frozen finds, and treats. The proprietor is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He helped me pick out several candy bars to try and each one was delightful. I look forward to returning to try the adana kebab and pick up some other ingredients for a Turkish dish.”
“This was a small but well stocked grocery store. It isn't organized the same as other stores, but we still found what we were looking for. We got half and half, raspberries, water, and a couple snacks for our hotel. The price in dried pineapple is really great, and the service was friendly.”
“Very nice store, I love it, nice for healthy groceries, very friendly and helpful service, I am glad to see something similar in D.C. area like Mother's Market in Southern California.”
“This Trader Joe's is my favorite grocery store to shop at. I have to give it 5 stars because of that, but it is not without it's faults.First of all, if you go later in the day, even a couple hours before closing, a lot of times they will be out of many items in the produce section, or very low with only the less fresh, lower quality ones remaining. Second, the parking lot is a bit of a disaster. Too few spots for the amount of traffic, and the lanes are too narrow.Other than that, they have great products at low prices, including many exclusive things you can't get anywhere else. I feel like with recent inflation, other stores have increased their prices much more than here. The staff is friendly and always willing to help, and they get you checked out quickly even during busy hours.”
6AM - 8:30PM
500 N Horners Ln, Rockville“Drive by this spot everyday and finally stopped in after seeing the great reviews. I was warmly greeted and placed my order easily. I ordered the Italian Cold Cut sub and the fresh was soft and the ingredients were fresh. Great sub at a reasonable price. Will definitely be back!”
“Strategically located on the busy Columbia Pike/Colesville Rd, leading to i29. It's a good grocery shopping store for organics. It's a little more expensive than regular stores, but you're sure of quality.”
“Great place to shop. Always have the best desserts and treats, and have great service. Always have great things here. The only thing that makes this 4 stars is that the 3 potato salad used to be so good, but then they changed the recipe and it is now a lot worse. Snider's, if you are reading this, please change back the recipe. Food 9/10. Ambiance 8/10. Service 9/10.”
9AM - 7PM
11333 Georgia Ave, Wheaton“I go to this store for 16 years and they have improved so much. They have a huge variety of Brazilian products like food, hair products, lotions, perfumes, shoes etc. If you want to eat a coxinha or pao de queijo they have right there! Ah they also have fresh squeeze juice ? and Açaí!!!!!! The best store in the DMV area”
“This store has great choices and products! Their staff is very professional with great customer service and support. Managers are always helpful to customers. Definitely an amazing grocery store added for the community. Highly recommended!”

“Mostly a selection of Indian spices and many other ingredients for Indian cooking. They also have a variety of frozen heat-and-eat Indian foods. They also offer a smaller selection of Ethiopian foods. It's fun to browse - you're sure to find something good!”
“This place is as authentic as it gets when it comes to Iranian market/food. They have a good selection of groceries and barbari/lavash bread in case you're doing your own Iranian cooking. They also sell kabobs and daily specials for other Iranian dishes. As an Iranian American, the food tastes familiar and warms the soul. It is reasonably priced and the portions are just right. Next time you're thinking of going to a certain kabob chain restaurant, opt for Caravan instead; you'll be happy you did!”
“The market is too nice , and the owner is too sweet, they have a lot of distinguishing products with affordable prices, such the grape leave’s, cheese and beer .I liked the wine ? and the olive oils were delicious. When ever I go there with my husband then she always give us samples to try and to taste. It’s nice to have market like that here in MD because it’s too rare to find something like that here in MD .I would love to recommend it .”
9:30AM - 8PM
1073 Seven Locks Rd, Potomac“Super cool deli, butcher, baker, caterer and raw bar frequented by the locals. Great place to find all kinds of baked delicacies as well as old-fashioned giant cookies. Great butcher as well and nice seafood selection. Has a few tables if you'd rather order from the menu! I recommend that salmon BLT and the clam chowder soup!”
11AM - 6PM
7925 Old Georgetown Rd, Bethesda“As far as I’m concerned, this is the best place to shop in and around Bethesda! We shop here at least twice a week. The secrets is out and this place is getting busy. I love their steaks but their poly face chicken, eggs, breakfast sausage and beef are a close second. The people here are passionate about what they do and provide fantastic customer service.”
“WILL IS THE BEST EMPLOYEE EVER!!! he helped us get the trader joe's takis and he should 100% get a raise or a promotion or something because he is the GOAT.”

“Fantastic Persian market and the food to go is a frequent purchase for us. They have all the things my girlfriend craves from home and the owner is always very pleasant to interact with. Also have some great local bakeries that deliver breads and other sweets regularly.”
“This grocery store is a frozen wonderland, where convenience reigns and millennials stand. Bagged and ready, each meal a delight, perfect for those who don't want to cook tonight. Gen Z approves, with a nod and a smile, making dinner easy, with style and while. It's the modern way to dine and dash, with flavors that flash and prices less than cash!”
“Thomas Market — The BEST Greek feta in DC. Tired of tasteless feta you get at the super market? No matter if you go to Whole Foods, Giant or Wegman’s, their flavorless “Greek” cheese tastes like hardened mayonnaise. The crazy part is Thomas’ authentic Greek barrel feta costs way less than the fake garbage sold at grocery stores. Once you try Greek salad with real feta, Thomas market will be a regular stop. Expert tip: Ask for the cheese to be packed in brine. Check out the prices on lentils. Amazing.”
“After dinner at Big Greek Cafe, we stopped by Aldi for groceries. It was my first time shopping at an Aldi. Unlike most grocery stores, if you want to use a cart, you must insert a quarter to "rent" one while you shop. Like most grocery stores, they sell a variety of produce, breads, snacks, beverages, paper products, frozen products, meats, cheeses, and more. It's a great place to shop when you plan to make a charcuterie board - dried fruits, cured meats, cheeses, and spreads. Don't forget to bring your own bags because they don't provide any. We ended up getting poultry (including chicken thighs, corned beef, and lamb), cereal, assorted pita crackers, salsa, tortilla chips, blueberry jam, pesto, smoked oysters, and produce (including mushrooms, brussels sprouts).”
