I recently used HAB II and the customer service was impeccable. Dana and Stephanie took excellent care of me, They were personable, professional and friendly. Both were knowledgeable about the service and kept me well informed about what was going on with my vehicle and when I could pick it up. My 2017 Hyundai Sonta was stolen recently and I had my car brought to this place once it was found. They have worked on my car before and did a great job. However I had the tow company bring it to this shop trusting them to the best work. Unfortunately I didn’t get that this time. My car was repaired but my seats weren’t cleaned at all even after I told the girl Dana that the people who stole my car dirty my seats.All they did was vacuum the inside and wiped it down no cleaning at all.then I found a huge scratch on the driver side that wasn’t there when I did the walk through but mysteriously appear and was told the tow company who brought it did it but we walk through and that wasn’t there. I also picked up my car and there was no gas in it. I asked how was I supposed to drive it home with no gas the guy Eddie tells me they don’t pay them to put to gas in the car. What type is excuse is this when they had to test drive the car to make sure it was safe enough for me to bring home. Interesting, then was told I can call my insurance company and let me know about the scratch and say it was over looked when I know it wasn’t there. This is sad because they got paid to do a job which I appreciate but giving my car back not clean and with scratches, and to blame me for not seeing it is unacceptable. I won’t be using them again and I won’t be recommending.Services: Steering & suspension repair

Horrible service Do not let Karen handle your car she is a liar. My car was in their shop 2 1/2 months and it failed inspection for something they were supposed to fix when I got my car back. I will not be back and would not recommend this company. The staff was rude and showed that they didn't care about the customer. The work was okay but the service outweighs everything.

The young ladies who worked behind the front desk was rude and unprofessional. I mistakenly left items in my car and they were there when I picked up my car. The work they did was good but this experience left a nasty taste in my mouth.Service: Body & Trim

The work that was done on my car was good they even cleaned my car out for me which was amazing but the staff however was rude they tried but when asked questions eyes rolled or a stare was given like I told you already but other then that they do good body work

Took my vehicle to this shop through Geico. My sunroof and antenna had been damaged due to vandalism. I received a call 5 days later that the vehicle was ready. While driving the vehicle on the highway the sunroof almost flew off, hurting my hand. Contacted Geico and was told to go back to the shop. When I arrived the Manager told me he was waiting for a part to come in to complete the job. I asked why I wasn't informed of this as this could have caused a very serious accident, had the top actually flown off. He seemed unconcerned and said he was going to order the part right away. Why, again was I told to pick up the vehicle if in fact it wasn't ready. I was very upset and disappointed. I couldn't believe someone could be so callous. I contacted Geico and told them I didn't want to go back there and went to another body shop in Capitol Heights who I had done business with before, they were exceptional. Anyway, they refused to do the work because they said Hyattsville did a bad job and they did not want to have to clean up a mess. Now I'm waiting for Geico to contact Hyattsville to resolve this mess. This is unacceptable, they did however fix the problem even though it was a more than exhausting experience. Additionally, the antenna they replaced is not the same color. First one was white and matched. Replacement is black.

I brought my car back in October 2021 when someone backed into my parked car. I chose them because they are a Geico service provider. They did an awesome job, customer service and communication was excellent, quick too if I recall. Flash forward to may/ June 2022. I noticed the bumper of my car had "popped out a bit" so I brought it in today thinking maybe brackets needed replacing or had weakened on their own. What I didn't notice and was pointed out immediately, was a scratch like someone tapped me or I tapped something that may have popped the bumper out a bit. I believe it was the same gentleman I dealt with both times and he was so courteous. I think it's family owned business and he may have been an owner either way you can tell he takes pride in the what he does & the business! They "popped" my bumper back in place for me & I was on my way! Thank you Mike & Hyattsville Auto Body!
