Very noisy! This hotelcaters to young people and there are at least 3 room parties going on on my corridor right now. My room looks modern, but every piece of furniture is worn and dated. The bathroom os small. The shower is a trickle. The saving grace was the hand held. Bottom of shower looks nasty with yellowing sloppily applied caulking. Shower pan is dingy. Positives! Front desk clerk was very nice and professional. AC definitely works on my room. Kitchenette is functional & cute. Bed is comfortable.I would stay here again mid-week; never on another Saturday night.

Michael at the front desk was very kind! I stayed here for a night and the next day I noticed red raised bumps on my arms and fingers. Throughout the day the bumpy areas became extremely itchy. After researching I discovered I was bit by bed bugs during my stay. I do not recommend staying here.

TERRIBLE SECURITY. Someone I know went up to the front desk and got them to give him my room key without even knowing what room I was staying in. To the manager reading this, you need to do some *major* security awareness training for your staff and you should understand why a lot of your customers would be particularly unhappy knowing they’re not safe here.

My first impression is that it's a really nice extended stay hotel. The rooms are nice. Comparable to a studio apartment. All in all, pretty nice and clean. However, not much in the kitchen area as far as basic needs (no knives or spoons...of any sort). The bed frames are much longer and wider than the beds and have sharp corners, which met my shins several times. The water temperature is very inconsistent. It would either be really hot or really cold and would do this while I was showering. Also, water leaked from the shower, and I had to use additional towels on the floor. The pool is really small and is shared with the adjoining ALoft hotel. Also, there were no towels restocked and a very full dirty basket. I had to go ask the front desk for a towel.Breakfast was a typical free breakfast and was up to Marriott standards of a free breakfast.

My room was not terrible but smaller and dimmer than the last time I stayed here. It had not been properly cleaned, but was mostly clean. I did the rest smh. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was ok, andstay was overall enjoyable.

Pros: This location was perfect as my days and evenings were spent between DC and Baltimore. The staff was polite and helpful. The room was clean and provided the basics I was looking for (fridge & microwave). It also included a sink, which was a bonus. For those who stay and work there was a nice size desk with a touch lamp as well as a chair, ottoman and a floor reading lamp. The floor was a hard floor as opposed to carpet, perhaps LVP, which is good for those with allergies. Breakfast was decent: eggs, egg whites, turkey sausage,, potatoes, mini pancakes (I think I saw French toast one day)...bagels, toast, cereal, oatmeal, coffee and juices. There was a little yogurt bar as well to make your own parfait (my favorite choice).Cons: Area rug under the bed could use a shampoo or deodorizer. Having your windows facing other rooms is awkward if you want full sunlight. There are separate shades sheer and opaque to manage privacy. The mini fridge could use a good defrost.Nearby activities: Arundel Mills mall within 2-3 mins, grocery store, multiple places to eat.

This hotel is great!!! I’m not sure why the reviews are low. I was skeptical at first because the reviews were not good. It was a good mix of recent bad reviews and ok reviews. DO NOT let the reviews deter you from coming here. When I walked in it smelled amazing! It was very clean! I was greeted with smiles and felt welcomed by the desk agents Michael and Ashly. It is Halloween and Ashly was putting little candy bags together and was still engaging and friendly. Michael was soooo helpful checking me in and providing excellent customer service! Both, Michael and Ashly, were awesome! Michael also told me about all of the amenities including the free shuttle that goes within a 3 mile radius to any place you want to go to! I have a rental and there is free parking! I came to my room and it’s very clean and huge! The hallways smelled great! My room smells great! The WiFi is strong! I’m just really satisfied with my experience and I would highly recommend anyone to stay here! I’ll be back for sure! 10/10 definitely recommend!

Prepaid for one night then paid for second night upon arrival and was charged a third time for the same price of one night. Had to argue with person to get money back for a night I never booked or asked for. Reserved a king bed was given a Queen and told no king’s available. But could move rooms second day if I wanted a king.

I paid a low rate on Priceline for this hotel and it is close to the airport. My flight got in late so I called the hotel and they sent the shuttle right away. The driver was wonderful, the front desk clerks were all wonderful and so was a second shuttle driver. The breakfast room servers were polite and helpful. The gym is large and well stocked. I slept well because the hotel is quiet. I used to really like Element hotels. They have a sleek, minimalist vibe. But this hotel is worn down. The carpets everywhere are in need of replacement. The room was clean overall, but the square carpet that outlines the bed was stained and damp for my entire 5-night stay. It contributed a dirty feeling. Toe facing between the walls and floor has a melted appearance. The blinds were broken. The furniture and fixtures were chipped and worn out. The tile is faded and tired. I would stay here again because of the great rate.

Don't waste your money!! Hotel is old, carpet in hallway is very dirty and old. Room needs updating. The shower would either be scalding hot or ice cold, there was no in between. We asked for extra pillows and was given a pillow without a case and one with hair on it. Thankfully they had prepackaged food for breakfast, but unless you get there first thing you won't get anything, they don't refill stuff. The only thing decent was the location. There is no way this should be considered a 3* hotel. Very misleading. Spend the extra money and stay someplace that is clean and comfortable.

With such a busy area I’d choose a different option next time. After a long travel day, our king size room was not ready(it was 6:45 pm and I made the reservation 1 hour prior)We conceded to the queen room as to not wait.No nightstand on my side of the bed. The rug and desk were in bad shape. Overall gave us an unclean feelingThe ratings were better than the roomDisappointed…On a good note, the front desk guy was very nice.

Have stayed here before, about a year ago and the room was in good shape. It is looking tired now and in need of some TLC. Also, at check-in, the front desk was unmanned. We were standing there about 15 minutes, others behind us also wanting to check in. Finally a very nice employee, I believe housekeeping supervisor, saw us standing there and came and asked if we had been helped. She was unable to locate the front desk employee. Then a young lady was walking into the building. Turns out, she had called and reported she had car troubles and would be late. Apparently the day shift front desk person did not stay and just left, therefore leaving the front desk unattended. Breakfast was not near as good as a year ago either. The 1st morning, no breakfast meat. There were egg whites and mushy bland potatoes and pancakes. My husband is diabetic and asked for sugar free syrup. The gentleman working breakfast brought him what we thought was sugar free syrup. The next day at breakfast, I asked the lady working for sugar free syrup and she promptly replied they didn't have any. When I asked if they were out of it, she stated they have never had any. After telling her we just got some yesterday, she even had another employee come assure me they have never had it. That is not good considering we were given syrup the previous day and told it was SF. That could cause a diabetic adult or child serious issues.

I will never stay here again. Do yourself a favor and find another Marriott hotel if you can. This isn’t it! Customer service is terrible. The young man with red locs sits on his phone and has no answers for the customers. Unprofessional. Check-in is at 3:00PM but a number of us were left waiting because rooms weren’t ready. Once one of us did get a room, we noticed that the rooms were super dated and didn’t look as clean as most Marriott’s Ive visited. I usually prefer a Marriott but this hotel needs to be renovated. Staff needs to be re-trained and the managers need to plan better. I’ve been to cities where hotels were sold out and never had an issue with checking in on time. It’s all about planning ahead. If a customer checks out late, they are charged. What does the customer get if the check in time can’t be honored by the hotel…? What do they get for their time? The only thing I liked about is the spacious bathroom. It’s also free parking. Outside of that, this hotel needs a lot of help and there are much better options in the area. Overall, not a good experience.

The front desk staff is always on their phone and looks annoyed for you ask for something basic like the kitchen items the room comes with and then they don’t bring it anyway. The hotel itself would be kind of nice if better maintained and not so shabby.
