I was surprised to find a sandwich shop inside a liquor store. It is truly as it is billed a secret. The staff was very friendly and could tell it was my first visit and set me up with a menu to review. I choose a build my own and it came out exactly like I had asked for. The food was well made and packaged to travel... since this is inside a liquor store you can expect your food to go. However they do have a limited amount of beer on tap incase you want a beer while you wait. The service was very quick so not much time to enjoy that beer if you choose to do that.

I was in Hampstead house hunting and I got hungry. Home being 90 minutes away I found the Main St Liquor and Deli. They have a good selection of beers and liquors. Another day if I move to Carroll County. I was looking at the sandwich selection. I decided on the Italian sans tomato. Lots of subs being sold (middle of the afternoon). Meat is sliced and put on fresh bread. The onion and lettuce were very fresh, not too much oil & vinegar, Sub hits the spot, definitely a place to check out. Next time I'll include a picture.

Fantastic sandwiches. I highly recommend the 1/2 lb reuben, and the 1/2 lb roast beef. I drive all the way from PA to get their sandwiches!

I had ordered sandwiches there many times and always as ordered. Until today. In a rush to get back to work I called in the order for a deli buster sandwich special. Ran in to pick it up and paid, and got hone and opened it up to my surprise it was a scrawny turkey on a roll. Called up and told yeah they were slammed and sandwich order got mixed up they had my sandwich there, And the Sandwich that I had I could not eat because it had onions. Very disappointed, Person on the phone was not very nice. By the way take a short ride home n the country to Freeland Liquors and you can save your self some money on beer and liquor, much better prices.

Best sandwiches and prices are awesome as well. Their craft beer selection is the best in the area. The rotating growler/crowler fill station located in the deli offers many hard to find beers.

I used to get their shrimp salad sandwiches a while back (when they got them from Miller’s) and they were the best! Just had a shrimp salad wrap tonight and it was terrible. Tasted like boiled shrimp with barely any old bay, mayo, and celery. Very disappointed. Next time I will go to Miller’s Meat Market up the road if I want a delicious shrimp salad. Aside from that, it is a nice beer, wine, liquor store and the people are very nice and helpful.

Great place to grab a sandwich or dog or special on the go. Buy a growler and try one of their amazing beers to go. Selections change constantly, so get on the mailing list.

This is the best liquor store around. The selection is great, always have what I need. The next best thing is the deli! In the liquor store! It's amazing! They make great sandwiches, and they have pollock Johnny sausages too!
