I would give zero stars if I could. Dawn completely botched up my bridesmaid dress. She cut up and sewed the cup toward the middle of the dress and did not take in the dress at all. The hemming is uneven and peeking out under the chiffon. She never answers her phone and very disorganized. She also let another client run 30 minutes over our appointment, and take all the parking spots. She didn’t answer her phone when I tried to notify her of the issue getting to her home due to parking. I took my dress to another seamstress to get it fixed and she was disgusted by how poorly the dress was altered. Don’t recommend at all and will never take another dress here.

Excellent service. Fair pricing. Great communication. Dawn was able to quickly fit an alteration into her schedule. She was very prompt with replies and notification of completion. Dropped the garment off one day and it was ready the very next day.

Long story short I had a month til my wedding and my dress was one size too big and I couldn’t afford 800 dollars for DB to fix my dress. My sister told me she got her prom dress done by dawn in 2012 , so I looked up the website and booked an appointment. I met dawn and she was such a wonderful person! I got my dress taking in ,sleeves adjusted ,waist pull up a little and a hem . I was amazed at her quickness and accuracy while she was pinning the dress for the alterations, I came back to pick up the dress and try it on ,it was stunning! the price was extremely affordable! ?

Dawn altered a bridesmaid dress for me in September. She did an AMAZING job! The hem was perfect, she adjusted a strap for me, and even stitched up the bust a little. She made my dress fit perfectly. I will continue to go to her for whatever alterations I need done. I absolutely recommend her services!

Dawn has been the most amazing sweet woman. My dress came to her as a huge challenge. She ended up needing to rip apart ALOT of my dress and so far it is coming together so beautifully. I cannot say enough good about Dawn and the quality of her work. She is sweet, kind, charismatic and funny while remaining professional. I brought my wedding gown to her to have a few difficult alterations completed and she made my dream come to life. She came up with creative solutions to the fitment issues I was having and had an extremely quick turnaround time in completing and returning my gown to me. Her pricing is beyond affordable, especially for her quality of work. If you are looking to have a garment altered, see Dawn! I would give her my business again in a heartbeat.

Dawn is so nice and makes it so easy to get your items altered. Just give her a call and if she can’t answer she will give you a call back and leave all the info you need in a voice mail. She is so easy to coordinate with and my dress turned out beautiful. She did some hemming and fitting work on a bridesmaid dress for me. I found my forever seamstress!!! Being new to Hagerstown, I found Dawn through reviews online and I am so glad I did! I made an appointment with her, which was very easy. She hemmed two women's blazers and a men's coat for a very reasonable price. She was very friendly and called me to let me know the items were ready for pick up in a week. I am definitely going to continue to go to her.
