My younger brother died unexpectedly at a young age with no life insurance policy. I am not local and when calling funeral homes to handle my brothers transition, I was quoted outstanding pricing. I reached out to Howell funeral home feeling defeated and scared. I was desperately needing a good & honest funeral home to guide me through this unpredictable tragedy. And I found it with Howell funeral home. They spoke to me with such genuine empathy. More than reasonable pricing and stayed engaged with me through the whole process. Ms. Carter was a true blessing. I highly recommend them during the most difficult of times!

preplanned my mothers arrangements 10 months before she passed thinking this would make the process easier. No, when she passed I was met with insensitive price comparisons using cars to get my family and I to understand why there is a large difference in pricing at both locations. I also got a call the day before her viewing and was told, we need a payment by tomorrow. As well as wanting my mother to look a certain way and she did not. VERY disappointed!

Thank you the Howell Funeral Home and Staff for taking such good care in picking up my father from the airport and holding him there until his family members from all over the states can make arrangements to meet in Baltimore. Mrs. Howell and staff was very patient and kind when we needed extra time. She was with us all the way to the end of the ceremony.
