I received instant attitude from these people. I dropped my paperwork off a year ago. Then they call me today and act like it’s my fault they didn’t get back to me . I feel a racial vibe I’ll never deal with that company. Bottom line I asked my agent questions and he just looking at me like I’m an alien or he wants to do something to me . Be very aware of people who make you the problem because they don’t like you they just want your money.

Will Upton has been in the tax business for a long time and understands the tax system. He is constantly reviewing new laws and will patiently explain any questions you have. I agree with Anna...if the government challenges any part of your tax return, Will works with you until problem is resolved. I highly recommend Accurate Accounting!

Accurate Accounting and Will Upton are the best. I've had my taxes done here for over 28 years and have never had an issue. When the state said I was not able to claim a certain exemption, Will defended the decision made and the state realized their mistake. Where other tax offices may say you are on your own, Will helped us take care of it. They are very knowledgeable with all IRS changes that occur and I feel I can pick up the phone to ask any question and receive the correct information . Would highly recommend Accurate Accounting and Will Upton.

I have been a customer here for 4 years but they lost my business They do not ask for id when filing taxes or when you pick up taxes. Nothing to verify who you are they just trust you are who you say you are with no proof They Tried to talk to someone else about my personal taxes when he informed them it was illegal to do so. The owner likes to yell at customers and tell them to take business elsewhere. Told me my employer didn’t take out state or federal taxes when in fact they did it shows on my w2 that I provided to them. They had all my forms for almost 2 weeks with no call or email about status and I had to call to check the status otherwise it probably would have been another month or so. I do not feel like they do thing’s legally out of this location and would never recommend them to anyone

I have been coming here for years. Everyone I've encountered was super helpful but the last two years have been very off-putting. Last year I had to call multiple times to be told when my taxes would be done, since I had dropped them off. It took over 2 weeks for them to finish. (Have you heard of any other tax place taking 2 weeks to simply finish yours after drop off?) This year I dealt with a new man, who required me to give him a bunch of paperwork that hasn't been necessary for me to file in the past. Regardless, I dropped my papers off Wednesday and I emailed him what he said he needed. I told him that my son is disabled and I pay a ton of money out of pocket because of it - I gave him those receipts too. (receipts of speech + occupational therapy, his ipad since he's nonverbal, etc) This man never entered that my son was disabled, and he also tried to say I was claiming my mother... I have no idea why. The following Saturday I called to see if everything was fine - it had been 3 days. A different man answered the phone and told me it looked like my taxes were done - he said there were two green dots and told me the amount I'd be getting back. If my paperwork was done, why didn't I receive a call? Monday morning I drive there and sign my paperwork. Tuesday I get a call back that he needs my credit card number because he accidentally refunded me money instead of charged me which he originally stated as $160, but come Monday he changed it to $200. So now I have to hope the pending +200 charge goes through at the same time the -400 charge goes through. Either way, I will not be coming back here. I've never left a one star review anywhere and I like to think of myself as a patient person but this has been ridiculous. My friend recommends Tax Solutions in Rosedale for anyone looking!

I worked for Will many years ago and still work part time during the tax year. He does my taxes and I make sure he has all documents needed to complete my return. In response to Brian's review. He did not have all necessary paperwork to complete his return so his paperwork was filed in pending. All his paperwork (no identity compromise) was returned to him and he had his tax return prepared and filed at a discount for the inconvenience. As for small businesses that are just starting, tax season is not the time to come in to talk to an accountant. This is done at the time of start up so that the small business owner has some direction as to what is needed regarding paperwork. What receipts need to be kept and what accounting programs/ledgers are needed to reflect a solid financial record not just for the accountant but in compliance with IRS mandates.

I went into here after a friend of mine told me to come. I have never gotten my taxes done by someone because I’ve always had easy taxes so I did them myself. well I was missing a year & this current year I had a baby & I had NO IDEA where to start. they told me I could drop them off, but I asked if I could sit in as I didn’t know & wanted to learn. they were more than accommodating. they also helped me make arrangements to pay them that would help my budget being as i’m on maternity leave & have no current income. it says a lot about a business to work with people & make them feel comfortable. the owner also reviews everyone’s taxes & makes sure they are correct. very nice people. oh & there’s a shop dog, tinkerbell, very cute & sweet. I will be returning.

I went to Accurate Accounting with my budding new business. My hope was to establish a trusted tax advisor relationship. I dropped my paperwork at the door March 3/3/21 I called April 3 and listened to excuses about why my taxes where not filed. On May 4th I just asked for my money and paperwork back.The owner( Will) didnt bother to come but sent his worker with a personal check and a paper for me to sign (Guess it happens alot).Granted: I know It's tax time, Covid19, stimulas money, etc etc makes things challenging BUT THESE folk are confused and disorganized!!!! I wonder who the people are who talk about using this guy for 20 years smh... Wow.I gave them 2 stars because the kid who they have answering the phone probably takes a daily beat-down from Irate customers!

I have dealt with Mr. Will Upton for over 20 years now and he is the most knowledgeable tax expert I have ever known. If a man is an expert at something once he has done it for 10000 hours, then Mr. Will is an expert 6 times over. For the best and professional tax advice along with a down home atmosphere, Mr. Will is the person to trust with your taxes.
