This was such a highly rated wedding dress maker. My wife looked everywhere in Maryland and picked Elena as the best of the best. We were so excited that my wife was getting her wedding dress here. It was absolutely stunning and she reveled in the experience.... right up until the day before the wedding when Elena insisted on "final modifications." When my wife picked up her dress the night before the wedding it didn't fit AT ALL. Apparently her boobs changed 4 bra sizes and her waist moved by multiple inches!!!!! Overnight!!!! A beautiful dress had been transformed into a nightmare with no time left. She had no choice but to find whatever cut rate tailor was actually open at 3am on a Friday and then have the wedding planner call in emergency standby venue staff with stocked with safety pins on the morning of the wedding just to get the dress to be wearable (it didn't even fit anymore!! By a longshot!!!)! Elena never took responsibility nor apologized for butchering her dress less than a day before the wedding. The receptionist was totally rude and never even let us talk to Elena about her very obvious faux pas at the eleventh hour on the most special day of our lives. My advice, find a dressmaker who actually cares... not just a snooty "haute couture" poseur. My wife just wanted to move on and forget it, but I'm furious on her behalf. Do yourself a favor and tell Elena where she can shove her overpriced impersonal dresses.

I had an incredible experience at Bridals by Elena! Frances was fantastic in helping me search for dresses. I liked every dress she picked out for me better than the ones I had picked out for myself - she really listened to what I was looking for and was extremely helpful with her recommendations. After choosing my dress, Elena and her team were incredible with alternations! I truly found my dream dress and could not have been happier with how it looked on my wedding day. Definitely check them out if you're looking for a wedding dress!

I came in to browse wedding dresses with my mother. No one acknowledged our presence when we walked in the door and around the store. The one associate whose attention we were able to get did not seem as if she wanted to be bothered that day- so we left. Not the experience I was hoping for.

Oh my word! I cannot say enough good things about Elena and her team! She helped me find the PERFECT dress. She listened to what I liked and didn't like and brought me options until we found the one. Her team meticulously altered the dress seamlessly. It was such intricate work and the dress was so beautifully cared for by them. I felt like part of her family and she cares so much about making the day perfect!

went here for my wedding dress June 8th. I said yes to the dress. I worked directly with Elena. Her and her daughter were wonderful. I can't wait for my first fitting in a couple months

First time at Elena's. My youngest daughter had just started her hunt for the perfect wedding dress. Elan was our sales person. She was so sweet and patient! Knows her stuff, as she understood what my daughter wanted. Long story short...she said YES TO THE DRESS! Highly recommend. Thank u!

I went with my mom here for her to try on mother of the bride dresses. They made her fill out a questionnaire of which dresses and styles she was looking for ahead of the appointment. No worries, understandably they would want to pick out a few for her before she comes and be prepared, or so we thought. We showed up early for the appointment as our last appointment ended early. We understood we may not be seen early, to which we were told to come back at our appointment time as they were busy with other parties, again, completely understandable. We waited for an hour for our appt time and came back in. We were expecting to have the attention of one of the employees to help my mom find dresses matching what she put in the questionnaire, and put her in them, and make her excited to be there.
Not only were we ignored, but we were told to go pick dresses out and put them on and basically shoved in the back corner. We were not asked what our names were, nor were we welcomed . My mom put dresses on and walked out with backs wide open as no one helped her in the dresses until we asked someone to help….
We were told to come back at the appointment time and when we did we felt like nothing but a bother to those working in the store who were too busy putting away the wedding by dresses from the party before us. I am appalled my mom was treated this way and she left feeling ashamed and embarrassed to even be in the store. I am glad she found her dress elsewhere at a store who not only gave her attention she deserved, but made her feel beautiful.

Bridals by Elena is THE BEST. Katia helped me find the perfect wedding dress. Everyone was friendly, helpful, professional and welcoming to me and my family & friends. The boutique has an incredible selection for different budgets and styles. I felt absolutely beautiful and amazing in my dress from there that I got on sample sale from there!

Bridals by Elena is one fantastic bridal shop. The place is very welcoming and has so many beautiful dresses to choose from. I had the pleasure of having Elan as my consultant. Out of the three dress shops I visited, working with Elan as my consultant, was by far my absolute favorite! She paid such close attention to my quirky ways and knew exactly what I was hoping to find. Some bridal shops after you have tried on 7-10 dresses make you feel as though you should have a decision made, but that is not the case here. There was no limit to the number of dresses that she would get for me. When I came out of the fitting room, she accessorized to give me the full effect, and would also add sleeves if I wanted to see how that looked on some of the dresses. Honestly, I feel like she went above and beyond. I wish every shop had a consultant like Elan, so they could have the same experience I did. Bottom line is we just connected, and to me that’s what it’s all about.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They had little to no dresses for plus size women to try on. Frances told me I was “too big” to fit in any of the dresses they had. Frances needs to be fired. Don’t waste your time going to this place. BEYOND disrespectful, do better!!!!

Horrible experience today. Francis the consultant was absolutely terrible. She body shamed my sister. She told my size 16 sister that they had no dresses that would fit over her hips and she was too big. She told her to go try a plus size shop. Put my sister to tears. Francis needs to be fired and should never consult someone on what is supposed to be a special time in their life.

Was very pleased with the assistant, which was the owner, very pleasant not pushy at all give her honest opinions about the different dresses for my daughter. Would definitely recommend.
