Best nursery in the DMV hands down. Our company orders from them over and over again. Healthy plants and awesome selection.

Amazing selection of succulents, as well as indoor and outdoor plants. The staff are so kind and I just cannot recommend them enough all around.

I have shopped at this nursery from time to time. I know the owner, the managers, and the staff very well. I cannot accept the racist claims made by other reviewers. It is disheartening for me to read such reviews when I know these people on a business as well as a personal level. With Mask on, you can't tell who is who or what their nationality is for that matter. The claims of racism and racial profiling are 100% inaccurate. Mike and Marina are 2 of the greatest people I know. I stand firm on that! I have purchased pest control products as well as plants from Seasons and there has never been an issue. Some years back I had a bad ladybug infestation, the pest control company could not do anything about it. Marina sold me some spray that eliminated the ladybugs immediately. I went back in 2018 to get some spray for the spiders outside my home and the spray that I purchased kept the spiders away from my front porch up until this spring 2021. We sprayed the product again and I haven't walked into any webs since then. My co-worker absolutely loves the Hydrangea that I purchased for her 60th birthday. Her husband planted it in the front yard immediately and here it is 2.5 years later it has doubled in size and looks amazing. Seasons Nursery definitely sells quality products.

Once we bought our home we knew right away that we needed gardening help. We were recommended an amazing gardener and he told us to check ut this nursery to see what plant we wanted for our front yard remodel. One cool Saturday morning while he was working on digging out the weeds and adding a beautiful bed of grass, my husband and I took a trip to Seasons Nursery and lets just say - I lost my mind. I wanted EVERYTHING! We were taken good care of by one of the staff members (I think her name was Kate) who gave us information on all the plants that we were interested in and based on photos of our yard, she told us what would work well based on the amount of sunlight and the space we have. I walked away with 2 evergreen trees, 2 bushes and 8 plants! Its been 3 weeks and everything looks so beautiful! I am already planning for next spring - I want to turn my backyard into a garden oasis!

Avoid Seasons Nursery unless you like mealybugs and bad customer service.I usually do not feel entitled to returns for plants, but in this case, I feel like Seasons dropped the ball with how they handled my issue.I bought a Hoya Kerrii medley that has 16 leaves. It had a mealy bug infestation, so they sprayed it before I left and wrapped it in kraft paper for my 45 minute car ride home.Within 36 hours, I found large burns on 10 out of 16 leaves. I was baffled, because I placed the plant in a spot that was 10 feet away from a half-sized eastern facing window. This was a temporary spot until I could find the time to repot it.I grow hoyas and have dozens of varieties in my home, so I like to believe I know how to care for them. I have dozens in my south facing window, as well as a few that I grow outdoors on the eastern side of my home. There is no logical explanation for how the hoyas could have burned in my care. My theory is that the pesticide they use weakened the leaves or somehow caused them to burn. I've never had this problem before, so unfortunately I am convinced it has to do with either the health of the plant, or the pesticide they used. When I called them about the issue, I was met with "Maybe you left it in the car too long, it was 90 degrees this week. Maybe you left it outside."I didn't. I know I can't prove that, but I was met with accusations and animosity when presenting why I was displeased. I spent over $500 when I was there.I am a private plant seller in a different region of Maryland, and this level of customer service is absolutely appalling to me. There are so many better places to spend your money than at Seasons-- do yourself a favor and avoid the displeasure of every buying a sickly plant from this establishment.

I purchased a scindapsus plant from them. Within two days the plant began rotting. The leaves were turning brown rapidly. When I went to check the roots, I realized they had just potted fresh cuttings. Their desire is only money, there is absolutely no integrity there regarding plants. Don’t waste your time here.

I always try to shop local vs. the big box stores. I've gone to Seasons several times, but I think I will stop shopping there now. Their prices are above average and the customer service is sub-par. The young ladies that work the cash register are always pleasant and helpful, but the management (there is a blonde that works in the nursery) is pretty rude. If you want customers to shop at your business it might be a good idea to stop treating your customers like they are the biggest inconvenience.

Can't believe I haven't been here before!! I was raised in Gaithersburg and just now stumbled upon this gem. I was mainly looking for succulents and planters. I can't believe I ever went to Home Depot before for succulents. Stay away from Home Depot... go here! They take AMAZING care of the plant babies, they fan away the humidity from the succulents to keep them nice and dry, and their selection is incredible! Found the exact ones I wanted that I used to have when I lived in California. On the way out I came across crystals!! As if this trip wasn't already too fun. I stocked up on a few... Peruvian pyrite, Amethyst, and some pretty blue one - Apetit? The girls that I spoke to were beyond helpful... two younger girls, one blonde and one brunette. So sweet and helpful and just great energy all around. Can't wait to come back for my next haul... maybe next week! :) (I have a succulent addiction) . I don't have photos now but maybe I can take some and upload tomorrow.

This cute nursery has a ton of plants and plant necessities! The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. After explaining what kind of plants and care I was looking for, the staff member who helped me walked me through a number of options and answered my various questions with ease. The prices are about the same as I'd expect from a garden shop in Home Depot or Lowe's, but the staff seem much more knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend them if you are a beginner to advanced plant person looking for more plants for your apartment, house, or garden ?

Great selection of trendy houseplants and outdoor flowers and vining plants. I recently purchased two heart leaf philodendrons for $4 each!!! The prices are very reasonable compared to other nurseries in Montgomery County (except for the rare plants in the hundreds - I have no knowledge of what those should cost). The staff are very nice and knowledgable as well!

I love this nursery. The inventory is plentiful, the staff knowledgeable, and there is a satisfaction guaranteed- if it doesn't grow they will replace it!

Inventory - 4 Stars Customer Service - 2 Stars I like Seasons Nursery in terms of inventory. But their service is awful. Getting in the parking lot can be chaos, mostly when they are busy. Parking can be slim and maneuvering around the tight lot can be challenging. They have an excellent selection of houseplants, outdoor plants as well as edible plants. I can never leave empty handed. Prices vary, but overall are reasonable. The customer service needs vast improvement in all departments. I have never been helped by an employee other than paying for my purchases and they have always made me feel like I am an inconvenience. I don't think a single employee here wants to be here or can handle in person human interaction. And during the pandemic, their COVID protocols were awful and honestly non-existent. They barely wore masks and acted like they were the only ones having to deal with the discomfort of wearing a mask. And when they were asked to put their mask on, they threw a hissy fit every time. So we've stayed away until things calmed down. Again, we come here if we really need something they have, but choose to support other establishments first if we can.

Purchased plants and they were never delivered. Contacted them and they were rude and unwilling to provide a refund or send a replacement. There are way better nurseries out there, run by much nicer people. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

When I first came to this nursery, I was absolutely appalled at their amazing selection of indoor plants. I picked up three plants - a Ginny monstera, a rubber plant, and a croton plant. Unfortunately, after about a week, the Ginny monstera displayed signs of moisaic virus. I'm extremely disappointed with this - moisaic virus is pretty contagious between plants, and could have easily taken down my indoor collection. I will not be purchasing from seasons again, as this is a huge concern.
