“I recently visited Elysiem in Potomac, MD, with my puppy Coco for her first grooming session, and I was thoroughly impressed by the entire team’s kindness and professionalism. From the moment we walked in, everyone, especially our groomer Ashley, made us feel incredibly welcome. They treated Coco with such care and gentleness, ensuring her grooming experience was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.The attention to detail was fantastic. Coco came out looking adorable with a lovely bow, and the treats she received, which she adored, were a thoughtful touch. The whole experience at Elysiem was a testament to their commitment to providing excellent service and genuine care for their furry clients.I’m truly grateful to Ashley and the entire team at Elysiem for making Coco’s first grooming experience so positive. “Hopefully this is a no kill shelter. And when Euth is necessary due to illness with no hope for recovery, Do not use Gas or Decompression Chamber. Only a Qualified Vet, not staff. These barbaric and torturous methods of what is called Euthanasia are cruel and heartless causing unnecessary pain and suffering to a poor animal who has done nothing to deserve such treatment. Hopefully there will be a law passed forbidding the use of The Gas Chamber and Decompression.”
“I visited the shelter to adopt my cat in 2018. He's such a happy, healthy, and playful baby! My family is really happy with him and we're very happy with all of the support we have received. We even had one of our beloved dragon lizards incinerated here because we didn't know what to do. The staff is amazing and I love the convenience of the location.”
“It was a GREAT to experience the Super Pet Expo this past weekend 8/28/20-8/30/2020.The event was superbly run. The crowd, vendors and workers were enthusiastic and energetic.All health protocols were followed. There was great entertainment for pets, kids and adults.The producer of the event Eric, was always present making guests, vendors and especially pets feel welcome and safe.Special thanks to the clean up crew responding to pet’s accidents. They were fast and efficient.I look forward to future events. ?????5 Paws!!!”

“I've been getting pet supplies at this location for 19 years now. Staff, in general, is knowledgeable and friendly. The variety of pet food is great and of superior quality compared to other retailers. Some things like dog costumes and beds can be found cheaper somewhere else. It's a great place to bring kids along so they can watch the fish and other animals.”

“I came to this location yesterday for dog grooming and my dog's stylist, Lesly C., was amazing; she did a wonderful job grooming my miniature goldendoodle, so if you have the same breed or any dog with a curly coat, I'd highly recommend her. I'm giving a five-star rating for the grooming and customer service, however the store itself is quite dirty. I noticed there's a smell due to dog pee and I'm unsure how often it gets cleaned, other than that I love the numerous amounts of products they have for any kind of pet.”
“Let me tell you something LESLY IS PHENOMENAL IN GROOMING. I love her she always does an amazing job with no direction from me whatsoever she needs a raise and if she ever leaves I will follow her wherever she goes! She is very friendly, helpful and is literally the only reason I get my dog groomed there!!!”
“It's such a lovely place! It has everything you need for your pets, and they also have all kinds of pets on display! Cats, lizards, turtoises, birds, hamsters, etc... I actually adopted my first and only cat here, and the process was very smooth! She's still alive and very healthy, which means they treat their animals very well!”

“Great store, inventory was varied in price level and selection. Awesome inventory of suet, bird food, bird feeders and bird houses. Also had multiple different hummingbird/fruit feeders. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about products. I will be coming back!!!”
