This place is horrible. They quote you one price and then give you a bill for something much more expensive. They nickle and dime you for everything. I'm so sick of this place.

If I could give a more negative review, I would. This clinic should be closed. After my experience and reading others I feel not only is the office harboring Racist feelings but they treat the customer very bad. They stuff your pet full of cheap dog treats as a way to gain their trust. I belive this office should be closed down and this vet not be able to touch another animal EVER! Somebody will one day sue her and she will get stopped. Our pets deserve the best and if you treat they parent bad you sure will treat the pet bad.

I love this place! We moved to NOVA a year ago and still travel out here because the care and prices are unmatched!

We do NOT recommend Dr. Kristy Bennet! She performed a routine spaying on our dog who regurgitated during sedation. She was returned to us bleeding from the nose. When we called, Dr. Bennet told us she had noticed, but failed to tell us. She then developed severe scar tissue issues in her nasal passages causing her to ooze mucus from her nose constantly. She couldn’t breathe or smell well, snored, and developed anxiety as a result. While we understand accidents happen, we did not appreciate her callous attitude and disregard for our dog’s obvious discomfort telling us it was a behavioral problem but all too willing to charge us for anxiety meds and regular antibiotics. Long story short, our dog became aggressive and when we contacted the breed specific rescue, we were told she did NOT have behavioral issues, but rather couldn’t smell or breathe well due to the injury sustained during her spaying procedure. Plus, they told us that the vet prescribed meds were too much for her! Also, Dr. Kristy Bennet has no bedside manner. She is quick to recommend very expensive treatments and is condescending in her delivery of information. She informed us it would ONLY cost several hundred dollars a month to give out then diagnosed 11 year old cat with diabetes proper treatment. This was after an $800 bill for bloodwork and urinalysis. When we informed her we just couldn’t afford this raising three teenagers on an electrician’s salary she was very obviously disdainful.Dr. Bennet does NOT know breed specific information either. She informed my son that his Ragdoll purebred cat was overweight at 16 pounds and told him to put him on a diet or he could develop severe health issues. My son came home feeling horribly about himself as a caregiver. I explained to him that a male Ragdoll weighs between 15-20 pounds. Much relieved, he never wanted to bring his cat back to Dr. Bennet. In conclusion, please make sure you read all the reviews before taking your fur baby to Dr. Bennet! We hope this helps you make an informed choice as you look for an exceptional vet to meet the health needs of your pet(s)!

I brought my dog in for some blood work, and a refill in his medicine. They proceed to do a "consultation" without my authorization. When it comes to pay they told me they did a consultation and a skin Cytology witch I had not approved then they proceed to tell me that without that consultation they can't give me the medicine. He had already been diagnosed and prescribed the medicine by them before. Honestly all around bad vet. Oh and not to mention they so call "price match" with chewy yet when I would price match it with them they should always tell me but we can't loose money and charge me me an extra $10 from the chewy price. They're money hungry and have lost all the care they have for their patients. Sad to see it.

Bad customer service, would not recommend. If you are ok with horrible customer service, being hung up on, being lied to about available appointments, being relayed wrong anatomy information, and paying for your exam in advanced as a new client, by all means book. If not, read this review before making a decision to have your pet seen at Montgomery Village Animal Hospital:I called today to make a wellness appointment for my dog and the receptionist, Pascal answered the phone. I told him my dog was a girl and a new appointment is needed. He proceeded to make an appointment for a neutering. I explained again my dog is a girl and is not spayed and the appointment was for a wellness exam and vaccines. He took all my information and scheduled the first available appointment for next Monday, August 1st. He told me there were no appointments this week. Before the appointment was confirmed, he told me I needed to pay a $68 deposit as previous new customers made appointments and did not show. I know see why... While discussing the deposit to try to understand the amount and the reasoning, Pascal spoke over me and I elevated my voice. I was not yelling yet Pascal continued to talk over me and hung up on me. I immediately drove to the location to speak with the Owner, Dr. Bennett and was greeted by Pascal. Still angry at the customer service I received, I refused to give my name and he said "I'll tell Dr. Bennett a mysterious guest is here". Once he returns he asked did he talk to me on the phone. My response was "yes, you hung up on me". His condescending response, "Did I??". He proceeds to talk back and forth and I had to beg him to stop talking to me as I just wanted to wait for the owner as this was not about the deposit but him hanging up on me. The tech nearby stopped the interaction by telling Pascal to go to the back. When Dr. Bennett arrived, I explained the rude customer service I received from Pascal and how her receptionist hung up on me even though I was not yelling. I spoke in the same tone in person as I did over the phone and asked her if I was yelling. Her response, "You seem a little agitated and I have to stick with my staff as I always receive great reviews about Pascal". I was agitated due to being hung up on and having to drive to resolve the issue. She also said if he felt I was yelling, she supports him hanging up. I still booked an appointment as I wanted our family dogs to share the same vet. Two appointments were available this week, tomorrow and Friday. It was no more than 20 mins between my interaction with Pascal and the in person meeting with Dr. Bennett, so how were these appointments now available. When I asked Pascal, he told me there was nothing available this week. Dr. Bennett said the appointments may have been canceled. The phone did not ring while I was there and I do not fully believe two appointments magically cancelled within 20 mins.I also informed her about the neutered/spayed response. Her response, it is the same. Spaying involves removing the uterus and ovaries of a female animal, and neutering removes the testicles of a male animal. From my background, a vasectomy and hysterotomy are two separate procedures. As a medical professional, Dr. Bennett nor Pascal should relay the wrong information as female and male dogs have different anatomies.

My mother brought her cat to this vet, the cat wasn't eating and lathargic. When my mother was asking question about it the cost , she was a woman we don't remember her name, the vet used incredible satire in her response. Never ever would I recommend anyone to come deal with an individual that would have that odestity to approach someone like that in a time of distress. Please take the time ti find different vet like we will. Thanks

I absolutely adore Dr. Bennett and the staff at MVAH. I have a very, very large dog who is not a fan of going to the vet and everyone here has always been so welcoming, patient, and understanding. Dr. Bennett treats both me and my dog with respect, I've always felt her to be extremely honest and compassionate, always offering several possible solutions, and making me feel comfortable in whatever decision I make, always calls to follow-up on my dog's progress or condition even if it's after a routine visit. Being a full-service hospital, it might not be the cheapest option around but in my opinion they are MORE than worth it.
