Gramophone has always been professional. They offer trusted recommendations and follow through on questions, installation and post installation experience. We have trusted them for both indoor and outdoor audio equipment and will continue to use them as our preferred provider in the future.

Gramophone has very friendly and customer-oriented staff, and they are an active supporter of DC's hifi (and Head-Fi) community. I have purchased gear from them several times and am very satisfied. Having a local high-end audio store in the DC-area with good customer support is a great resource.

My wife and I got several estimates for a custom in home theater. Gramophone was not the cheapest, but there is no question that they were the most professional and experienced craftsman in the area. They gave us a bespoke design which matched all of our criteria, and accommodated a variety of options which we hadn't previously thought of. They started the job on time, and finished a week before they originally forecast. The results are exceptional, and we couldn't be happier with our finished theater. If you are even contemplating a custom home theater, Gramophone should absolutely be at the top of your list.

Gramophone has been fantastic for us. We had our whole house redone with new media including, theater, den, various TVs, sound system in multiple areas and even our internet set up. We use the Savant control system using our iPads, phones and their remotes. Everything has been seamless and on the few occasions where something didn’t work our got out of sync Gramophone either fixed it remotely or had a technician here the next day to get us rolling. Even a year later, they recently replaced a piece of equipment for free. I have no complaints at all and it is refreshing to have found them after using several other companies that could never succeed in addressing all our needs. Josh Shobe has been my contact and I have referred friends with no qualms at all.
