Our golden retriever absolutely adores this location and so do we! We have used other Dogtopias in the past and this place is the best! The staff are excellent! They are always giving us cute updates and seem to really love all the dogs. We can't even say Dogtopia in our house because our dog gets to excited and wants to go immediatly.

Although I am relatively new to Dogtopia, my experience there so far has been positive. I've had the opportunity to spend time and talk with the General Manager (Victor), the Assistant Manager (Jesse), the Pet Parent Coordinator (Brie), the Shift Leader/Rover (Genesis), and the Canine Coaches (Ryan, Josh, and Tyler). These people are sincere, knowledgeable, and truly love dogs. They take pride in their work. I love the positive energy that they exude--you can tell this is not just a paycheck for them and that providing quality care for the dogs is their utmost priority!

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE 100 I would this is the second time they have abused one of my dogs I watched them on cameras all day and they said my dog was attacking other dogs which wasn’t the case and they yank her off the floor by her collar and by a slip lead by genesis and Josh they want to call me and dismiss my dogs but I’ve worked there and they keep dogs that attack other dogs and send them to the emergency pet hospital I will be pressing charges DONT TAKE THEM HERE

This is practically one of the worst places I've ever been two I use to work here but I left cause my dogs were being abused and I gave them a second chance and yet what do u know they are still getting choked by by their collar into a cage and yanked them hard while they were on their slip lead. They say my dog attacks others but I've watched the camera but that wasn't the case and still gives you no right to yank my dog. They also keep dogs that have gotten in multiple fights and even sent dogs to the hospital but yet they stay cause it's all about the money right. My dogs get dismissed but yet they are still there Josh Yanks dogs and earlier in the day my dog got choked by her collar by someone else and when my wife calls even though she saw what happen the person up front Genesis lied and said she was picking fights. DONT COME HERE ITS THE WORST PLACE ON EARTH

Every time I drop my dog off for boarding they either have the wrong amount of days or charging extra for something they have never charged me before. I have never had any consistency since starting there. Multiple times they have double charged me as well. The cameras also barely ever work when I go on to check on my dog. I will most likely be switching to camp bow wow as I have never had any issues with payments or cameras there

One of our biggest regrets was using this place. Don’t do it. If something happens to your dog you can’t see the tape trust me we know. On top of that they will give you the run around. As well, our dog was bit here for some context. Want to know what else? ITS PATHETIC that IF we didn’t pay for a Spa Day that day our dog would have came home with a whole in her neck. I’m being serious unfortunately. They found it because of the spa. They told us a staff checked our dog after our dog was attacked here and found nothing. Did they cover the charge of course they did but there’s that for you.We tell all our friends what happen and they dodge this place like the plague. Seriously don’t do it and they truly can careless about the dogs. If you love your dog this is not the place to go. I’ll reiterate if we didn’t pay for a Spa Day…on that day… they would have sent my dog home with a whole in her neck. ??This was a year and half ago to my dog Lily June 2021.

One of our biggest came true in this place. We were looking for a place where I could day our dog Max for daycare (for socialization mostly) and also board. During the meet and greet all was great, include first day of daycare. We were having a special event and therefore decided to board Max for 1 night only. I was shown the suite and made arrangements to reserve with the manager. Saturday we drop off at 9am, his dog bed, food, and medication. Max has severe separation anxiety and I confirm suite would be best because he cannot tolerate being left alone in crate for too long. I confirm with the front desk girl I will be picking up at 9am Sunday, though outside of regular hours they confirmed would put note for the morning staff. I get there and no one is there, I can hear Maxie’s bark from the outside. I peak inside and he was in a crate where he could barely stand. He looked panicked. 9:30 came around and still no one there, sent out an email to the location and finally get a call from the manager. He apologized and confirmed someone would be getting there shortly. Young lady gets there 9:45am, she apologized and I asked why he was in the crate, she advised probably because of after his breakfast. Then she shows me picture of how he was found when the morning staff got there. I then realized he was never put into the suite. He spend the whole night in the crate, he bend the metal nada and he physically hurt himself. They apologized again and confirmed they made a mistake. Manager refunded my money but what they don’t realize is all the damage they have cost to my pup. He came home with scratches so deep around his nose, paws, varies part of his body. He was a pup who didn’t like the crate but would tolerate it to now being completely afraid. He had blood in his stool for days. Please be careful in taking your dogs here. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. It’s been 3 weeks since the experience and he even cries if we drive by it. The manager did try to apologize and confirm a mistake was made but I will never go back to that place. Trust was completely broken.

I have a 2 year-old Aussiedoodle and have been taking him to Dogtopia in Frederick for both day care and boarding since he was a puppy. The team at Dogtopia is wonderful - they genuinely love the dogs in their care. Bailey thoroughly enjoys his time there and gets excited every time we're in the car and he realizes this is where we are headed! Leaving Bailey in hands we can trust is incredibly important to us. We are really grateful to have Dogtopia as an option in Frederick and would highly recommend them!!

Dogtopia of Frederick took great care of my dog when she got sick while boarding. They treated her with extra care and even bathed her before she left. Special thanks to all of you!

We have a young dog and a senior dog. We were worried that the age difference wasn't allowing our young dog to play and, well, be young. We decided to try day care to give her a safe place to play with dogs closer to her own age and energy levels.A friend of the family recommended Dogtopia and we're really glad she did. It was really easy to get everything set up for her meet and greet and from the minute we walked in the door we felt welcomed and excited. Cat and Victor were really friendly and informative before, during, and after Stevie's meet and greet.Stevie's first day in day care went great. I really appreciate getting to check in on her through the Web cams. This was as new for us as it was for her, so I was nervous. At first she seemed unsure so she kind of sat back and observed, but then she warmed up and interactive with the staff member in the room as much as the other dogs. The man in the room was attentive to all the dogs. From making sure play didn't get too rough, cleaning up potty accidents really quickly, and taking the time to give skritches and kisses on request (there were a lot of these. This says a lot about him, dogs are great judges of character!).I do wish I had gotten his name or been able to thank him personally. I didn't think to ask. We were able to see that Stevie was safe and cared for...and really happy. We're definitely going to have to do this more regularly!

Click lowest reviews and read the previous comments about dog attacks and unsanitary conditions. The place smells absolutely terrible, and they treat animals, employees and customers with a complete lack of respect. Before thinking about leaving your pet with this place, take a moment to read the company’s comments to the reviews left. Every negative review is not a former employee this is a way of deflecting the real problems of this company and trying to save face. I have not been employed by this place and the stench from walking into this place I wouldn’t dare be a customer. There’s literal reviews saying that company recognized CUSTOMERS dogs have come home smelling awful. Probably because they’ve been sitting in a feces infested kennel. -a real (non employee) with a real review. Do better dogtopia

I brought my pup to Dogtopia during my contract in Frederick, and so far I am very pleased. Victor, Cat, and Monica were extremely helpful from the beginning, and had taken Bentley in as a part of the family already! Each concern/reservation I’ve had so far, Victor has gone above and beyond to remedy them. I appreciate everyone here, and I recommend Dogtopia for anyone who wants to explore daycare options.
