The pharmacist and staff are rude and to be quite honest nobody knows what customer service is. Definitely do not use this pharmacy.

This store decided to close 10mins early. I am highly disappointed because we don't have many options for pharmacies around being on the mountain and need a last minute run for swimmers ear for our 8yr old son. Now we are scrambling to find another location, when if she had kept her doors open until closing at 10pm as said on Google and their doors, then we had 10 mins to run in and grab the medicine, we saw her locking the door. So I'm a pretty upset mama right now.

Called in for my prescription, was told by the automated system that it would be ready on the next Tuesday. Called in on that Tuesday a girl told me it was another week until my meds came in. Called today (Wednesday) and was told by someone else they’re not accepting new patients. CVS sucks

This place is garbage do not send your rx here. Been checking status it says it’ll be ready Wednesday Mar 11 @ 1230 call @ 1220 just to check and get told that for some reason this is the only pharmacy in the country that can’t get it to their store despite saying it would be ready at a certain time.

Never had a problem with this CVS until the other day. Long lines for pharmacy, but I waited patiently. It was my turn, the pharm tech brought my prescriptions to the counter, I gave her my insurance card and she told me to go take a seat. At least 15/20 minutes passed as I watched her ring up every single person in line. I was forgotten about, so I walked up and the tech said "ohh you? I gave your card to the manager. We are still working on it." So I waited some more. The pharm tech finally walks out and handed me my insurance card back telling me it's only for COVID. I was confused and asked her what she meant. She repeated rudely it's only for COVID. And she literally turned her back to me after, walked away into the back out of sight and never came back, before I could explain it's an insurance card that should cover my medications. In total, I spent 40+ minutes patiently waiting and was treated very rudely by someone who had no knowledge on how insurance works. I stood there astounded before I walked out, transferred my medications to Walgreens who I had absolutely no issues with. They filled my prescriptions fast and even asked for my insurance card. Which of course paid for the medications. In and out no issues. But this CVS? Avoid at all costs!! Never again.

Last month I had the worst disappointing experience when I went to my CVS Pharmacy (at West Patrick St., Frederick, MD) to return a Freestyle Libre 14 Day Reader prescription for my wife (which I picked up about an hour earlier). I explained that we don't need it because we learned after unboxing that we can just use the app on the phone as a reader. I wanted it to be exchanged with a box of sensor instead. The pharmacy tech explained that it cannot be returned because of COVID. She then told the pharmacist about my request and the pharmacist met me and again explained the same reason, and then she grabbed the reader from the paper bag and added when she saw that the box had been opened that all the more she can't accept it for return because it was already opened. Now, at this point, everything for me is okay and reasonable. But what happened next made my blood pressure soar. After the pharmacist put the reader back into the paper bag, the tech handed the pharmacist a bottle of hand sanitizer and said in a clear loud voice, "here have some sanitizer, they already touched it, and we don’t know what they have!” in front of me, with a line of customers behind me! I felt so embarrassed by this. I of course understand the concern, but to say and do it right in front of me was just so rude and very offensive. It took me a little while to collect myself from this embarrassment and thought to myself “stay calm” because I was about to blow. Then I said instead, “okay, then let me just buy a box of sensor.” The tech doubled down with her rudeness and said, “you can’t even get it, it is not covered by your insurance and it costs $800!” Another tech came over and looked baffled and said “it does?” Then this other tech grabbed a box of sensor and scanned it, and then this other tech told me, “this needs a prescription, and your prescription is for a reader not the sensor, so it does not give me a price here.” At this point I decided to leave. How could they think that I did not check the price of the sensor online before I even suggested to buy it. $800 for a box of sensor? Yeah right! Until now, it’s already the day after, my blood pressure is still soaring because of this incident. What a rude and offensive pharmacy! And, is that “because of COVID, this cannot be returned” even legal? I am never filling my prescription and doing business with this CVS pharmacy again! I just hope management will train their pharmacy rude employees on being sensitive. My blood is still boiling!

I went in for my booster shot, I have lost my covid card. They have no records of my covid shot and told me they could give me a booster but wouldn’t give me any information or proof I’ve received the booster. It’s astonishing they do not have records from 6 months ago

I did a Covid test there yesterday. I believe the process exposes everyone. You have to lift a lid to an overflowing bin to submit test. No antibacterial wipes or gloves offered. I believe I've recovered, but sure I was reexposed because of their procedures. Shame on them. So disgusted!

When I saw the low star rating of this CVS I was horrified. It's not fancy or anything, but the pharmacy staff is positive and competent, and even helped me with the information I needed so that I could get my doctor to prescribe a lower-priced generic version of a medication.I usually don't think too much about drug stores, but I've had a positive experience here every time.

Pharmacy not knowledgeable about merchandise in front of the Pharmacy. I was placed on hold the second call for 10 minutes, the first call I was hung up on, so I called a 3rd time and that person was rude and I don't believe that she didn't even checked, but told me they didn't have any.I understand it could be busy, but common courtesy and some empathy go a long way in Customer Service, which is lacking!
