To be frank, one of the best roommates I had in all the homeless shelters I stayed was here.

I registered to volunteer, unfortunately, with covid restrictions I can't. However, they need donations of certain staples, no clothing, etc. Give to the local goodwill instead

I've been living at Sarah's for a while now. There are more cons than pros but there is one particular situation that brought me to rate "not good". This is suppose to be a safe haven and a place to rest, relax and get on our feet so that we can leave better than we came in. One of the rules is "Quiet time after 9:15". This means no loud ANYTHING! There is one particular tenant who is a single mother and she has been reported numerous times for talking loud on her phone after hours. I have called and the night staff members refuse to talk to her. She repeatedly drops the "N" word and complains about her situation for all of us to here. She has a child that's stays up with her and she curses at the child all day! Respectfully, no one wants to hear it. We all got issues which is why we are here but that's no excuse not to be courteous of others. The staff members need to be more mindful of the complaints and less scared of the tenant. Your job does not pay you to be scared or show favoritism!!!!!

I went to take my daughter here to get help and it was disgusting. We left . I would not of left my worst enemy there. Its very dirty. I mean bugs. Cockroaches. The woman that welcome you.there are down right rude and unprofessional and my daughters belonging were stolen from her when she left to get the bus. . She was there one day and that was long enough. Sad.

Very rude staff ( Kelly and Shirley ). They make it clear they don’t care about you and will put you out on the street in a heartbeat. They make staying here hard. They are “not therapists” and don’t care how rude they are to you. They will treat you like you are worthless when no one is watching. All the negative reviews are true.

So... this place has computer room but kids can't even use it and only a few adults are in there and there are more computers left. And on a hot sunny day, what the hell do they think. They keep us out so I can get sick in 94 degree weather and my sis. SMH to this place i'd rather be in a hotel or a motel at least. Sincerely, Mickalicious A.

The more screwed up you are, the more potential help here...but still, Catholic Charities is a known scam.
