I was truly impressed by ServiceMaster. They made a bad situation so much better. They were at my home within a couple hours. They were courteous and explained everything they were doing. They had to make several visits to my home and were respectful each time. Excellent customer service from the representative over the phone to those who came to my house. Would highly recommend and will definitely be calling them if I am ever in this situation again, though I pray that is the only time I'll need their services.

My husband and I recently experienced water damage to our kitchen and immediately our insurance company (Erie) sent a ServiceMaster team to assist us during this stressful and heartbreaking situation. I honestly don’t know how we could have navigated this situation without the assistance and support from our ServiceMaster team, James and his assistant, E! James has gone above and beyond to help us understand the extent of damage the leak has created. His ability to not only act quickly to prevent further damage to our structures, while providing OUTSTANDING customer service is unlike any service encounter I have experienced in a very long time. He worked with our dedicated insurance adjuster, Tim, to come up with a well thought out action plan and got to it! This young man took the time to answer ALL of our questions and never once treated us like we were a burden, he not only listened but acted on our concerns as well. Everyday when he does his routine checks on progress I’m immediately put at ease as I know we’re going to be treated with dignity and respect. If you experience water damage to your home, I can assure you with extreme certainty if you are assigned to James and his assistant you’ll be in the best hands possible! Thank you ServiceMaster for employing dedicated and knowledgeable professionals!

Call for an estimate, very uninformed, and condescending. Don’t feel I was treeted with respect. When I was given prices were way overpriced. Was happy going else where!!

Large pack out.
After opening all of the boxes I found that about a third of the boxes only had a couple of inches of music, maybe one ream of paper or something else that was unbreakable and the rest of the box was stuffed with paper. When we pay by the number of boxes, this was an unethical thing to do and I will never recommend Service Master again.

would not recommend using this company!! What they said they’d do and what they did was two different thing- Our basement flooded and we had them come out. prices were lies, time spent in house was less then an a hour, Pretty sad how our house was left. Pretty much worse then when they got there. They will try and charge you hundreds of $$ to plug in their air machines and then hundreds more to literally unplug them. There is NO SET UP!! Just plug in n turn on. Rediculous!! It’s sad I even had to right this review but people need to be warned!! Their van is a run down POS equipment is old n outdated and their appearance was pathetic. Best of Luck if you choose them you will be sorry!!

We had a pipe break in our wall and half our basement was flooded. Service Master came within hours of placing the claim and worked until midnight pulling out soaking wet carpet and padding. I believed this saved our walls and wood floors. Outstanding work.

I have to warn anyone that chooses to use this company!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
On 4/10 my basement flooded. I called and spoke with Jason, he sent a 2 man crew out to my house. In the mean time i replaced my pump and got water out of basement leaving my brand new carpets n padding soaked.They came in and spent 40 minutes vacuuming the carpets. They never once lifter the carpet to do the padding and under padding as well. Like I was told they would do. They put a machine against my drywall and told me I had water behind the drywall (LIES) The water never touched the drywall. They dumped one tank of water and packed up and left. Leaving their blowers to blow carpets dry. I was told not to go into basement let machines do their job. They took my payment and refused to give me a copy of the contract. Next morning I enter basement and carpets were soaked pulling up carpet and padding in areas it looked like a soaken wet sponge water was flowing out of the padding as I lifted it. I had to rip out all the padding that was soaked and buy a shop vacuumed and do the job they never did. Now my brand new carpets are stained and padding needs replaced.
Jason lied to me telling me that his boss was out of town and as soon as he came back he'd talk to me and issue a refund. That was just to get the machines back. I've been given a run around since. I've now contacted Better Business Bureau, waiting on a call from a lawyer, and if I have to will take it to small claims court.
Also while they were in my home they told me to break a pipe and let basement flood so I could get an insurance claim. Not once but 3 times. I actually recorded 2 out of 3 conversations we had about insurance fraud. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

We had a house fire and Servicemaster came and did the cleanup/mitigation for us. We couldn't have been more pleased with the process and the results. Sarah Raymond and her team are excellent! They were efficient, thorough, and super considerate through the whole process. Their communication was top notch. I would highly recommend them!

ServiceMaster was very quick and responsive to a flood caused from large rain events that left our basement soaking wet. They professionally treated my family every step of the way. We even had an insurance claim "hang up" and they worked with us to devise a way to pay it back without any extra fees or charges, which given the stress of the event was hugely appreciated. I greatly appreciate everything they did to make a negative experience a positive outcome. Thank you!

Work was great but their collection process left much to be desired. Be cautious if you plan to go through insurance. They say they will handle it all for you when they sign you up and it will be seamless. The truth is they will pester you relentlessly while waiting for the insurance company to pay and force you to follow up with the insurance company yourself. Fortunately my adjuster was great and asked them to back off.

A very professional team led by Dominic Hood cleaned out water damaged basement in a timely manner. They knew what they were doing and did it very well. All were friendly and all went well. Dominic had the name of a fine construction company referral but because I requested it. He didn’t push someone on me without me asking about it. I highly recommend this company.

This was my second experience with ServiceMaster of Bel Air. Both experiences were absolutely positive. I would recommend ServiceMaster to anyone needing mold remediation. Every employee that I came in contact with was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Service was provided in a timely and cost-effective manner. Five stars for ServivceMaster!
