“They kicked my friend and I out for taking to long but he was tryna buy groceries and I was not about to spend all of my money in an expensive market. Other than the "Hold Up" the store was pretty nice. A variety selection of snacks and they take EBT”
“I highly recommend. The customer service is absolutely exceptional! They treat you like family. The halal meat and produce were fresh, and they had plenty of variety.”
“Few time visited here. Fall in love with this Asian carry out & grocery in Cherry Dale community opposite the Safeway and next to the Dunkin’s Donut & Baskin Robins. The parking is in the back! Don’t worry, you will always find spot. In the evening, you could also park at the mattress store parking where is the same spots. All is fresh & reasonable price… love the smile and passion of them. I could see all customer loves them so much. Everyone enjoy to be here and could see how kindness of them. They do serve the hot food. Rice / noodle comes in platter. Different dishes everyday. All is fresh and tasty. Sometimes they do Thai foods, Chinese foods,… all is wonderful dish. They have chairs for you to sit and enjoy the foods even they are not big store at all. I feel so welcome every time I come by. Love the idea of premade carry out / to go dishes in the fridge. Great great price and good quality. This place have magic in every thing. Thank you to them.
Vegetarian options: Thai food is always added here. Vegan curry and stir fried. Sometime they offer vegan appetizers. A lot of dessert is vegan.”
“It's always a pleasure to go to a Trader Joe's, and this one is no exception. An employee took time to tell me about his favorite dessert--a chocolate chip brownie. Unfortunately, like so many other favorites, it was seasonal.”
“Thank you Leyu Markate for giving quality service to the DMV community! The quality of products, the friendly customer service & the fairness of price really makes it ideal destination to regularly visit their store!!!!”
“Fantastic food, the flavors had something that added a tanginess, which I haven't tasted at the restaurants in Silver Spring. Highly recommend and for me, worth a drive from MD!”
“I've been coming to this grocery storey store for forever on a day, and it's always been my go-to store for all of the grocery stuff that I need. I got over here late at around 2pm, and the store was bustling with customers doing their shopping. And they I saw more than a few employees working on re-stocking products. I like to come here because it's everything organic and 100% natural. I bought apples, bananas, and my favorite navel oranges. I also got a pack of all-natural chicken and ground beef, a half gallon of milk, some strawberry yogurt cereal. On my way out, I couldn't pass-up a container of prepared caeser salad chicken with salmon that I will have for dinner later. I love this place!”
“Everyone loves to make jokes about how difficult it is to navigate TJs parking lots, and I think this location is the original reason. Parking is a nightmare in addition to the fact that everyone seems to not know how to drive that goes to this TJs. The store itself is fantastic but I will go out of my way to go to other locations because of how abysmal the parking situation is.”
“The customer service here rocks!! Everyone is so attentive, helpful and knowledgeable - it's like they live and breathe Mom's mission, which doesn't happen often in a grocery store chain. Their product is always stocked, and organized. I never leave without anything I needed. 5 stars for Mom's on NY Ave!”
“Like the location but if you're coming off the road from where World Market is I hate the fact that you gotta make a u-turn to get to it. Other than that...I love Aldi.”

“I love this grocery store, great quality food at lower price than anywhere else, original good products too which is refreshing ! Healthier too !
Workers there are super nice !”
“Absolutely recommendable Intimate setting style Market. Host a great selection of Sandwiches made fresh daily! Gabriela made me an awesome Bold Chipotle Chicken Sandwich!”
“Very cute organic grocery shop. They carry delicious locally baked breads, have bulk foods like oats, and prices are reasonable for the area (especially for bulk foods), and carry vegetables in season. Also bulk tea, spices and fun little gifts. Really grateful to have a shop like this. Would love to see a true coop one day in the area but until then...”
“Normally pretty stocked with things when I go. It's only happened about three times where I have not found what I needed. Normally very organized and clean, and someone is always available if you need help. It does get superrrrr packed in there though and this location is very tiny. There is a parking garage attached to it and also street parking. A Metro station is right across the street. It's in a lower level (basement) so there is no phone reception unless you're by the escalators.”
“Slightly smaller than other Trader Joe’s but still has a ton of stuff. Only real gripe is that there is virtually no cell signal inside. I have to walk outside to get any sort of signal. I have Verizon.”

9580 Livingston Rd, Fort Washington“This new Giant offers a variety of foods from various countries. I have found that the staff are approachable and extremely helpful. They will go out of their way to help locate whatever you need. The meats and veggies are always fresh.”

5149 Lee Hwy, Arlington“A Bangladeshi grocery. A Bengali myself ( coming from Kolkata, India) was excited to find many niche products, which is difficult to find in usual Indian groceries. However, did not find anything significant- other than various fishes, meat, and frozen food to try. I got some Bengali style sweets ( gurer Sandesh) and they were really good. You can find some fresh vegetables too. However, it’s worth visiting only for good quality meat and typical Bengali fresh water fishes. Don’t expect any great shopping experience, as their space is small and crammed, and quite smelly ( I guess coming from large amount of meat business)!”
“Havent saw ms kyra since i was a kid in elementary/middle school) used to live a round the corner from her store in that area for 5 years & she helped get me in a karate class across the street from her store, even use to let me ,my bros, and my sister go when we didnt have enough $ for our items sometimes ... good to see she didnt sell out after all these years that passed i was 8 - 13 back then and 26 now and she still standing with all of all this gentrification uptown.. those were the good days Miss her and that area.”
“I go every Friday. I am off work. I've always been an Italian Cold Cut, but I just started getting the salads. Delicious food, and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICEShared my sandwich with my supervisor, and now he's hooked!!!!”
“Friendly staff, compact but mostly well stocked store, and a saving grace for this expensive neighborhood with few other affordable grocery options. I leave Harris Teeter spending at least twice what I do at TJ’s!”

523 Carpenter Rd Building 409, Fort Myer“Smaller than Fort Belvior, but well stocked and clean. I’m in between locations, so I will probably utilize this one more because it seemed to be a lot less busy, and it opened earlier.”
“Don’t sleep on this honey hole! If you’re like me, you never want to drive around hoping and wishing for the allocated bourbon unicorns! Maybe you don’t like the 2am Rush to huddle outside of a store in the freezing cold for an allocated bourbon drop. Or you dislike the horrendous VA ABC allocated text and email notifications that seem to happen in the middle of rush hour traffic ??Well if all of those fit your horrific bourbon hunt tales, Corner Market is the go to! Guys behind the counter are great to work with and often bring out the allocated stuff when you’re looking for it! Prices are fair secondary and not too over the top! I do suggest you give a follow on IG to get notice when they put the allocated stuff out for purchase! Definitely will be back!”
“Glut is great! Glut is the best place to buy organic foods, or bulk items when you only need a little of something. I bought some rice for an essential oil aromatherapy bag I needed to fill. I had the bag and oils at home, but no rice. I also bought whole wheat flour to make dog biscuits. I had white, cake, and self rising flour, but no whole wheat. I got what I needed without buying products that would go to waste. I love the vibe of this Co-op. The employees are great. Too bad my school in nearby Riverdale is being demolished and I have been relocated to Landover. I guess I will be by on Saturdays now until my school is rebuilt.”
“Food is really good! Great portions and low price. I never knew this little spot was right here. My bf ate his steak and cheese so fast, I didn’t get a picture lol”
8:30AM - 8:30PM
901 17th St NE, Washington“I love this Aldi. I have gone to plenty around the area and at the times that have gone there is plenty of parking, they are fully stocked, and the lines move pretty well.”
“I love this store! It’s clean and friendly. Beautiful produce and meats and so reasonably priced. My only complaint is that the Italian sliced panini bread molds very quickly. I bought some yesterday and it looked fine or I totally missed it but it’s got mold on it. This is the third time so I don’t recommend buying it. Other than that, no complaints!”
“Really Great store I give it a 10/10, great prices and you have a variable of foods available. Staff is really friendly and ready to help out. Really recommend this place.”
“It's a good Trader Joe's. Nice selection of produce, great snacks and frozen meals. It can get pretty chaotic on Sundays, both inside and in the parking area, but I never go in a hurry anyway. Also a nice little selection of local-ish beers.”
